Pete determined the pump needed to be changed. He changed it without advising us to pump the tank first. He charged $95 for first half hour, then $95/HR after that. He claimed a big company would have charged us double. Total for the pump and service was $655. He did a sloppy job, using plastic zip ties and the pump was not placed in the tank properly. We had to call him less than 2 weeks later. He came and removed debris from the pump, and did not charge us which was nice, however if the tank was pumped initially, there wouldn't be any debris. We had to call him again 2 weeks after than, at which time he charged us $142.50, and said if he had to come back, he would have to replace the pump. A month later, the alarm went off again (high level water). We decided to go with Allstate Septic, who had us pump the tank first, then came the next day and freed additional debris from the pump. They only charged $85 to come, plus project cost. They determined that the pump was not placed properly, and told us that the work that Pete did was sloppy. They removed and cleared the bottom of the pump and charged only $122. If you need any septic tank work, don't call PTS, call a septic company. Also, PTS claims to accept credit cards, however, Pete did not accept any credit cards, check or cash only, claiming he does not want to pay the credit card fees. Allstate also told us they would have charged us $450 for the pump, not $655. I would never hire him again, his work is sub par, and he is overpriced.

I had just moved into my house in Dec 2014. The house had sat for a few years and I had no records for past maintenance. My heat pump was freezing up so I got a referral from a friend. A guy came out and worked on the system with a final recommendation to rezone the system down to one zone and that would take care of the freezing. I bought into it but hadn't scheduled it yet. In the meantime my water heater stopped heating and the guy who told be to rezone my heatpump wasnt' available so I called PTS. I told Pete about the heat pump problem and the recommendation. He took a quick look and showed me that there was a second filter the other guy didn't find. We took it out, he showewd me how dirty the filter was (totally blocked) and explaianed why it could be causing the freezing and also why it would make my bill so high. He did not trash talk the other guy beacuse he missed it, he was professional. Needless to say, I had PTS back to do the yearly maintenance and my heating bill this year is less than half. I can say I'm actually grateful my water heater needed service or I may have made a big mistake with the heat pump. Thanks Pete.

He arrived on time, assessed the leak and then he told us what we needed done. Pete then gave us the estimate for repair and we approved. Pete did the job immediately. In addition, our facet was not in good shape. Pete was friendly, explained everything and neat. We will use him for all our plumbing needs in the future.Toyb

Called plumber from Philadelphia on Friday late in the day, and explained problem. Commode tank leaking. He arranged to be at Pocono home on Monday. We arrived early and contacted him, and he came early. He completed the job expertly, even removing the gunk we tried to use to fix it. He gave us some advise on our other pipes, and, after hearing he also did electrical work, we asked about a broken flood light. He checked it out for us for no extra charge. Pete Tuzzio is his name, he is a very nice person and a wonderful professional.

I use them twice a year and my whole neighborhood uses them. I had them out a bout a month and a half ago. PTS Plumbing, Heating and AC are always inexpensive. He tells you straight up what the issue is and what you can expect. I he sees other things he will fix it for no additional charge. We all use him to clean our furnaces so they can be set for winter time. He also changes out the filters. For the summer time he comes out and checks the furnace and air conditioner and makes sure they are ready for the weather. Any time I need anything for my AC or heating system I call for PTS.

He came on a Saturday evening on an emergency call, and did an excellent job. He cleaned up after the job was done, and told us who to contact with regard to septic care.

He was very quick and even did everything within an hour. He did a good job.

He did a good job in a timely manner. He was courteous. The price was a bit high but I feel it was a fair price.

He was very professional and his price was very fair, even though I don't remember the specific price. I also thought the work he did was exceptional and did a great job cleaning up after himself.

He showed up on time and was congenial. One of the first questions I asked was whether he guaranteed his work and he said "yes ma'am". He worked for about an hour and a half, but seemed to get discouraged with the job. He got my heating monitor to start back up, but it quit working again after about an hour. I waited a few days because the weather was nice and then called him and left a message to inquire about coming out ot finish the work that he "guaranteed" . When he called me back he didn't even offer a solution or commiserate anything. I suggested that he refund some of my money if he wasn't going to stick to his promise of guarateeing his work. He just got angry and he was yelling and screaming at me for about 15 minutes while I could barely get a word in and I finally called him a sleeze bucket and he laughed and hung up on me.

Peter was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He explained every facet of what would need to be done before he did it, and explained the cost involved. He was right to the penny on cost, with no hidden surprises.

Our central air conditioner was not working-and we were sweltering! We are always afraid to call a plumber because in the 20 years we have lived in the Poconos I have only found one. He does not however work on air conditioners-so I checked Angie's list and read one great review for PTS Plumbing, Heating & AC. Pete Tuzzio came right away-diagnosed the problem-fan motor was burned out. He ordered a new one and said he would return as soon as it was in. Meanwhile, he offered to bring us one of his personal air conditioners since it was SO hot. We declined because it would not fit in our style widows. He returned when it was ready,installed it- but soon after he left the fan stopped working. He returned right away and discovered the unit was badly in need of cleaning from outdoor debris that had accumulated. He stayed hours-working with a flash light- in the heat-and worked until the job was complete. He did not want to charge us for those extra hours he worked. We of course paid him because he did a great job and I would certainly hire him again! AND....he said he is also an electrician! : )

He is like A number one and I would recommend him to anybody. He's good. He is fast and he knows what he is doing. He is not a rip-off artist. His name is Pete Tuzzio. I couldn't ask for more. He was here for a long time and he normally charges $75 per hour but he cut me a break. I want to recommend him to anybody. He was better than excellent and I couldn't get better. He was first rate. I called him on a Thursday and told him that I needed it cleaned. He wanted to know if it was urgent. I had cleaned it with a shop vac and found the ticket showing that it was last cleaned in November 2005. He came out the next day since it had been so long and showed up after his first appointment. You will never go wrong by going with this guy. Another company had recommended him to me. He also does plumbing and I am going to have him come back because I have a terrible rust problem.
