LTS Homes

I did not purchase in the end but I had a very positive experience. They offered the best quality homes in the best locations at very attractive prices. I didn't not purchase because of a change in my personal financial situation.

We considered building a new home with LTS, as well as other local builders, and ultimately preferred a smaller company that had a much better price and better attention to detail. LTS homes today appear to be of sound quality, but they are overpriced for this economy. This is not a custom builder. Do your homework -- insist on seeing the actual quality of products to be installed before agreeing on a price. Their process is to not show you these finishes until you have a contract with them. The 'standard' carpeting, cabinetry, etc. is basically builder's grade, and you may find that to get the quality of home you think you are buying, that you will need to tack on another $25,000 or even $50,000. Their homes also tend to have a higher tax rate than those of other builders, but that may be because of how their development/communities are assessed. All this aside, we do know people who had their homes buit by LTS and are very pleased.
