I will definitely use them again. There's one thing that I noticed and I have to call back. It was just an oversight. The boss, Jim was wonderful. He had to oversee the work they were doing and he was excellent. They cleaned up everything. They were pretty prompt. It was done fairly quickly. The whole job took within the week. Sometimes the weather weren't so great but they did it quite quickly.

He put the hinge on the wrong side of the door but that's repairable. They did a decent job overall.

The job went smoothly and efficiently. We had not expected the door to get rehung while they were there since it was something I mentioned for a future project. We were pleased enough to give them several other carpentry jobs and request a bid for a larger interior renovation job.

He came and did exactly what he said he'd do. Very friendly. Easy to deal with and very informative. I don't know much about that kind of work but I didn't feel as though I was being taken advantage of.

Our gutters/downspouts along the back of the house were clogged and in need of cleaning. After finding Jim & his company on Angie's List and reading all of the great reviews he had, we called H-H Construction LLC on the morning of Monday, June 29th. He came over later that day, as promised, to measure and give us an estimate on a cleaning. While measuring the gutters, he suggested we have gutter guards/covers installed to prevent future clogging as we have trees and a wooded area out the back of our house. Jim said he would get back to us with a price for the cleaning and installation of the gutter covers. He called Wednesday morning, July 1st, with his estimate and we hired him on the spot! After asking about an approximate waiting time for scheduling the work to be done, Jim said he could be here later that very morning to do the job. He arrived with a helper, Mark, about an hour later. All of the gutters were cleaned and covers installed in approximately 4 hours. While up on the ladder/roof Jim discovered a wasp nest in one of the gutters. He asked if we had any spray handy and proceeded to destroy the nest. Jim Harrison was very personable, and professional. His work was done promptly, thoroughly, and neatly. All debris was removed from around the house before leaving. We would not hesitate to call on him again for any work needing to be done in the future. If you need anything done around the house, call H-H Construction LLC. You won't be disappointed.

Jim and his tech were there within 30 minutes of the initial phone call and diagnosed the situation. They completed the repair without interfering with the customers and employees and were very professional. Cannot thank them enough for such a quick response.

It has been a wonderful experience. Jim and his crew are professional and a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time, they kept us in the loop with everything they were doing, and they did a tremendous job! Jim from H-H is a great guy and a pleasure to work with. He's done work at our home prior to building the deck and when it came time to pick a the right builder for the job, it was a no brainer. We would definitely call H-H for any future projects and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jim is the best! He called me back. Called when he said he would, and showed up on time. He couldn't have been nice and more professional. I will be calling Jim for much more work in the future, my husband and myself were very impressed with him. Thanks Jim!

Jim was very knowledgeable, punctual and polite. He explained everything that he was gong to do in layman terms so that my husband and I could understand. He informed us of things regarding our house that we weren?t aware of, like there were places on the top of our roof that was completely worn and was prone to leak. He took pictures of the places that needed to be repaired, so that my husband and I could see for ourselves that he wasn?t making up. Jim's partner Mark pressure washed the back of my house at no charge to me, which was a very nice thing to do. After completion of all services Jim made sure my property was cleared of all debris. Jim delivered service above our expectations and always with a smile. He is my contactor for LIFE!

The job went as most jobs do, there were issues. Each time Jim corrected the situation and I have two well fitting doors that eliminate drafts. The windows are great. One window located in the shower/tub area is now frosted for privacy and waterproof which will protect my house from water damage in the future. I'm very satisfied with the work and guys were pleasant and upbeat.

I was very happy with the job Jim at HH construction did on installing a new door and deadbolt in my home. He gave me the estimate and then returned to do the work at the time stated. I was very pleased with the workmanship and the job he did. Communication was good throughout the job. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a good and reliable contractor.

It was done in one day. Very nice job. the original quoted cost was $4000, but my husband asked for additional extensions of the driveway on the day of the paving, which added $250 to the cost. Jim came to our house at the end of the day to review the work and collect his payment, and while he was here, he commented about the gutter guards he installed on our house last September. Portions of the guards were bending out of their place on our gutters and he said he would be back to repair those.

They subscontracted the gutter replacement out and they didn't do good work. Also, the initial bid was $1,700 and it ended up being $3,100. They also left some work undone. I also felt pressured by the owner to give a good Angie's List grade.

Contractor arrived on time and was very professional in starting the job. Personnel were courteous and friendly. They were not deterred by a glitch in the project caused by a mistake I made in ordering the materials even though they had to suspend their work and return the following week to finish the work. We were very pleased.

After getting a few quotes for gutter cleaining and cover installation, we finally called Jim on Wednesday and he was out to our place the next day to do the installation. He had another helper with him and they did all the required gutter cleaning and did a good job installing the gutter covers we requested. We had about 125 feet of covers and the charge was just about $5 per foot. While up on the roof, Jim noticed a couple spots around roof vents that were not sealed so he offered to do seal them while he was up there. I believe there were 2 vents to be sealed @ $25/each. It saved us some $$ because I'm sure a service visit from a roofing company would have been over $100 to do the same repairs. Jim also does a lot of other types of repairs and handiwork so we will definitely be calling him again in the near future (likely for some plumbing work soon). He was very professional to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend H&H!

Jim was always punctual and professional. Although we originally contacted him for a different job, he spotted some damage by our chimney which could have caused major problems. His work was Excellent and he kept us informed with daily photos of the job,especially the unforseen damages. The cost was within reason for all the work he and his crew performed. We are definitely going to refer his company any and all of our friends in the area. We are planning new work for 2016 and will hire H-H Construction.

He was very professional. Completed the job as expected without delays. He provided excellent services. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

That went well. They did a very good job and they were very personable, helpful and honest about their work I think they were reasonable.

Was supposed to come on Monday 4/6/15 for estimate for replacing my roof. Called late afternoon, said he took wrong road toward my address and would not be able to come that day. Fine things happen, so he said next day. I said " No problem " Next day he shows up, looks up at my roof, starts to get in his truck. I ask him for the estimate, he says I need the whole roof replaced, which I knew. Then he says it will cost about $10,000, ballpark figure. I thought that price was too high. Then he said he would send one of his workers the next day to go up on the roof to give me a true quote. No one showed up the next day. To this day I still have not heard from H & H construction. Very unprofessional. Wasted one week. Have since found another roofing company to do the job at less than $10,000.

Jim took pictures of his repair work and debriefed us on what he thought needed to be done in the near and long term. Responsive and good follow up.

I contacted Jim Harrison in February when the amount of snow on the roof and ice jams at the gutters got to a point where I feared serious damage. He answered my phone call, and was up to my house as quickly as My schedule allowed for me to meet him and look at the situation. We first ascertained that there was probably no damage about to occur. Then Jim presented me with a number of options as to how best to proceed - both regarding the snow and ice currently on the roof, and for the future. As the weather forecast was for some warming, we agreed to wait a few days - and let me think thru my choices. Long story short - I decided the safer way to proceed - both regarding my roof and the safety of anyone working on it - would be to wait until snow and ice were gone. Jim nicely would check in with me about every 10 days or so for my report about snow/ice. As my roof finally cleared - Jim very quickly plugged me into his schedule. Arrived promptly in the morning, and quietly and efficiently went to work. I had to leave for a few hours. Job was done when I went back, and as we had previously discussed - Jim called later that afternoon and stopped by, with his invoice, and for payment. I found Jim Harrison and H&H Construction as a great find! Extremely polite, kind and business-like. And as a great bonus, excellent workmanship. I look forward to calling Jim for other work I will need to have done, whatever it may be!

They are excellent and that is why I continue to work with them. They are professional, reliable and provide good advice.

i asked Jim, the owner of H & H Construction to do a complete bathroom remodel on my main bathroom. This included taking two layers of wall paper off the walls, all new electrical in the tub-shower area and a new bathroom window because there was not enough light in this room. i also installed new tile flooring, a new vanity and an extra high toilet because my husband is handicapped. The work went swiftly and exactly like Jim said it would. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is excellent and he always seems to want to help to get it exactly like i want it to be. My vision of the bathroom became real with the help of JIm and crew. one thing i think is important is that he is neat, clean and respectful of my house and the needs of my family. he worked around m and my husbands work schedule which was an absolute necessity. i would recommend Jim for any work.

Jim and Tom built a fabulous, huge closet in my garage-turned-bedroom. The closet is located behind the garage door. They installed great insulation behind the closet. There is no draftiness at all. The doors fit perfectly and all the lines are straight. They were very professional and punctual. It took two days and they came two days in a row. I would definitely call them again if I needed any carpentry work or remodeling.
