It went very well! Jim and his crew did an excellent job! My husband was home and was the coordinator while I was at work. I was very pleased with the result when I came home. It was exactly what I wanted.

When the driveway was originally paved it wasn't done properly. It was only paved with a 3 inch top layer on the cheap without any base layer at all. Time and the elements have not done the driveway good. The driveway was looking really poor. There were a ton of cracks some of which had grass growing thru them. Jim recommended a really heavy seal coat to help revitalize the driveway to which I agreed. He used the heaviest seal coat you can get and really poured it on thick. He filled in all the cracks and smoothed it all out. Now the driveway looks much better. Next year I have Jim do a repeat application.

I had 3 bedrooms, master bath, Hallway, Staircase, Living room, Dinning room, Kitchen, painted. This included two coats of paint on walls and ceilings. Repairs to holes and cracks in walls and ceilings were made. All furniture moved and covered so as not to damage with paint. After the job was finished all furnisher was returned and they left everything clean and neat. The workers were punctual, professional, and courteous. I have used Jim for multiple jobs around my home in the past and he has always left me pleased with my choice, I would definitely recommend him for any work needed done on your home.

Jim provided us a competitive price for the jobs we needed done and he and the team got right to work - the gutter work was done really well and looks great and the mold issue in both our attic / with the vent and the basement was done right away and really really well! Very well gutters are no longer clogged. This is the second time I used H-H Construction LLC and will do so again in the future.

Jim arrived the day after I called him to give me an estimate. He gave me a reasonable estimate and was able to perform the work that same day. It was a pleasure working with Jim. He was professional and courteous. I would hire Jim again for other jobs around my house.

It was a two day job (one for cutting out the old pavement and prepping the site for concrete pouring and one for pouring and smoothing out the concrete and angling it for proper drainage. The finished job is absolutely beautiful (for concrete) and very professional looking. Now I can drive into my own garage and the water from rain will run off away from the house.

EXCELLENCE! We called Jim this morning to ask him why our back gutter was clogged after he installed gutter guards one year ago to avoid any clogging. He called back almost immediately and within the hour came by to take a look. He said birds most likely got into the gutter [under the guards] through the un-capped open ends and built a nest, clogging the gutter. Jim had another job scheduled but said he would be back either later today or early tomorrow morning. Jim came back around 4PM today and began cleaning the gutters. He found 2 large birds nests in the back gutter and a large wasp nest in one of the front gutters. He recommended and installed gutter end caps to prevent birds or wasps from getting access inside and preventing any future clogs. Jim went above and beyond and at a reasonable price to fix everything I asked him to fix. If he didn't personally fix it than he knew someone who did and he supervised their work to make sure it was high quality. He turned the house I bought into a home I will be comfortable living in for many years to come.

All work was completed expertly, within a short time, during a heatwave. Even though we couldn't be there, we received phone updates & pictures of each stage of the work. The Contractor went out of his way to find & install metal crawl space door on our off-sized opening. He added extra touches such as the repair and sealing of weathered areas, and painting of enclosed deck siding. Overall this was a great experience . We will definitely hire him again. Btw, we submitted this review a week ago & it disappeared. Hope this makes it!

Jim came promptly and first installed the sensor on the motion detector. It was hard to remove the old one after being outside in the weather for years, but Jim persisted and got the replacement installed and working. The weather vane had blown off in very strong winds and was reinstalled on a very steep roof. We had bull-nose gutter caps installed a few years ago and birds had turned the house into a giant bird house. It had been the manufacturer's recommendation to leave the ends open, which allowed the birds to take advantage of the situation. The manufacturer now makes a foam insert to close off the openings at the ends of the gutters. Jim cleaned the cutters and installed the foam. Jim is always pleasant to deal with and is reasonably priced. I'd be very happy to continue using H&H Construction and would have faith they would do a good job.

needed crawl space opened for mortgage inspection. He found that the hatch to crawl space was glued in and had to break the seal , remove the glue, and adjust the hinges. He showed up with in 2 days of being contacted.

As a seasonal home owner there always seems to be an issue when you return to your home for the the first time in the summer season. I had a recurring small leak in the living room that was thought to be corrected but leaked again over the winter and I discovered it on Friday of July 4th weekend. I immediately looked on Angies list for a roofer and was lucky enough to find H & H and connect with Jim. He was able to come and look at the issue on Sunday afternoon (it was surprising to find someone so responsive on a holiday weekend) and came up with a plan to fix it. He did what he was able to do on Sunday and completed the job on Monday as agreed upon. Throughout the process Jim was a true professional and it looks like he was able to solve the problems I had. I would definitely recommend giving H & H a call the next time you need any home repair, I know I will.

We woke up to a loud noise on a Sunday morning. A tree had collapsed on our house. We called multiple places, but no one was available to assist us. Then we Found H&H construction on Angie's list and called them. They offered to come out on a Sunday to place a tarp on the roof so no more water damage would occur until it can be fixed. They were punctual, professional, and gave quality work for an excellent cost. They repaired our roof in 2 days and did additional work for damages we were unaware existed (we had mold in an area of roof that went into the attic). We will definitely use them in the further and would recommend them to anyone.

He thoroughly explained exactly what needed to be done and why it happened. He gave a time-frame of how long it would take to fix and had it fixed within 2 days. He repaired my ceiling and did an excellent job. He is very professional and I was so impressed with the high-quality of his work and how quickly he got it done. Most importantly, he was honest. That is hard to find here in the Poconos. I highly recommend this company to anyone. I will definitely use him for the future. I just can't say enough how impressed and happy I was with them.

Jim has been doing work for us for a couple of years. he did such a good job that we have hired him for all of our construction work since! he is reasonable, works diligently,prompt,is immaculate and is a pleasure to work with. i guess since he has been in the business for so long that he has made suggestions that have helped expedite and enrich our construction jobs. he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to do all he can to make it easy and painless. i cant recommend him enough!
