Went very well. Jim is scheduled to handle other maintenance work around my home for upkeep and upgrades.

His workmanship is solid and absolutely impeccable. Jim and his assistant built the gable overhang from scratch, and it is exactly what we were hoping for. The work they did has given our house the facelift it desperately needed.

This was the first time we used H-H Construction. The townhouse is our second home and we are more caution in selecting contractors to work with us since we are not on site. We chose H-H Construction from Angie's List and Jim more than exceeded our high expectations. He was professional, easy to work with--quick to understand our situation and requirements, timely in his communication (calling us several times to keep us informed) and reasonable in price. The gutters with the covers were installed within a few days. Jim sent us several pictures to show the quality and completion of the work. We were very pleased. We would easily hire him again for future projects.

Jim arrived when he said he would and completed the job in 2 days. He took the fence down that had originally been installed incorrectly and reinstalled it properly. He addressed all my concerns before and while he was working. The job was done well; he made sure the area was clean when they were done and I would hire Jim again for other projects around the house.

It went great! Jim from H-H Construction came when he said he would and got the job done, professionally and with good humor. I've used him in the past and will continue to use him in the future. A+++++

Always very smooth and friendly. Feels like having a family friend over to help with repairs. All services were done quickly and professionally by Jim and team, so we will keep on bringing him over. He's usually in and out by the very quickly and always offers to come over the day after to make sure everything is working fine, so he stands by what he does. When our water pump stopped working he offered to bring us water before he could come replace it for us. The price is fair but when you price in this extra service he provides it becomes lower than the competition.

It was excellent. He provided pictures as he was completing it. The workmanship was professional. He did the work within one day of notice, which I thought was pretty incredible.

The job was done great. It looks like I should have called them a long time ago.

Out standing.... When I called Jim and explained the problem I was having, he showed up that day. Cannot say enough great things about this contractor. Great Communication throughout the job. We needed work done in my crawl space ASAP to close on our home in Penn Estates. He showed up exactly as scheduled and did the work in a timely, professional manner. Jim and crew finished both sliding doors in 1 day each. the work was done quickly and more important done perfectly. he is a stickler for perfection. the doors slide easily and look terrific. he also tiled my kitchen floor. that job took three days. after each day at finishing he would clean and make sure i thought it was exactly what we asked for. now i have a beautiful tiled floor that he cleaned himself so that i had no grout marks. he's that good.

Jim's is the ideal contractor. He is open, totally reliable, responsive, communicates continually, fair with pricing, has an eye for detail, performs high quality work and gets it done with alacrity. I've worked with other contractors in the past and have been amazed and delighted by the ease of communication with him, his honesty, his flexibility, his speed, his appreciation for quality in everything, his constant eye on cost as well as his sense of humor. He sends pictures of progress at every step of the work. This is a relationship for entirety of my life with the house.

This project is the latest in a series of projects that Jim has completed on my house (see earlier review). Jim accepted delivery of the special order materials and quickly and neatly installed the foam board, along with sealing the existing vents. As usual, he provided me with photos and a verbal update of the work in progress over two days. The results have been terrific, with the crawlspace now maintaining a temperature 15-20 degrees higher than the outdoor temperature this fall so far. Jim's price for the work was competitive and he has always stuck by his price on this and the many other projects that he has completed for me over the past two years, From my experience, which now totals approximately $100K in activity, one thing that one can be assured of in working with Jim is that he is committed to his clients' satisfaction.

Jim has been a marvel and delight to work with. His pricing is fair and consistent. He has high standards of workmanship, is totally reliable and communicates continually and openly. He gets the job done with alacrity. He advised on what work is ahead, sends pictures of work in progress and completed, offers thoughtful ways to achieve goals while managing costs and always responds to questions and suggestions with candid advice, anticipating problems and opportunities. He has a sense of humor, too. I can't speak highly enough of him except to say I am more than thankful I found him on Angie's list. I feel I have a trusted partner to work with over the coming years as I continue to enhance my home.

Mr. Harrison showed up promptly and remedied the mold problem. Now I can actually stand in the closet without coughing on the mold spores coming from it. I also no longer wake up coughing from the mold (my room is across from the room that had the problem). Great job!

hello everyone, I was getting enormous water bills with the one piece Kohler toilets i purchased just a couple yrs ago. So I purchased 3 toto drake toilets that are just great and plumber recommended. I called at-least 6 companies to install them with no luck. Until i called Jim @ H-H. 1. He was the best as far as returning my call, personality. that;s great but i need reliability, dependability, honesty, fair pricing. well I got it!!!! 2. I told him it is a vacation home and asked him to go in my house, turn off the alarm, switch-out the toilets, put the new seats on, clean up and turn up my heat, lol... for very fair pricing and we never worked together before!. 3.He did it and sent pics and follow up calls. I am sooo happy I found Jim! 4. He just started another project for me, (elec baseboard heat), and I will post the review after it's complete. 5.It is very very challenging to find good people and I hope Jim continues to be om my team, or I will have to start all over looking for someone great and that is a nightmare... He was very friendly and was able to patch the roof area and skylights. He also cleaned out the gutters. And he sent pictures of all the areas he worked on, both pre-work and post-work. All this for a reasonable price. He's definitely going on my short list of contractors to call when things come up.

It went very well. Jim and his crew dropped everything to start the job since water was getting into the home due to the damage. He was prompt and professional, but most importantly, he was trustworthy. I was comfortable with Jim and his crew in my home, even when I was not. He called frequently with updates and sent lots of pictures. It helped to see the before and after of his work.

Jim was lovely when he arrived to give me an estimate. He looked over the job and gave me different ideas, which was helpful. I was ready to give him the work, and was excited to have everything completed so I can have my family over for Thanksgiving in my 'new' house. Unfortunately, Jim never responded after that. He stated it would take him a few days to put together a proposal, but when he didn't call after a week, I called him and he apologized profusely, promising a proposal in a couple of days, but then didn't respond again. I called him again two more times, but to no avail. Each time, he was kind and apologetic, but never following through with a proposal. He mentioned he was very busy with tons of work, so I guess he really didn't need mine. This was truly disappointing.

I called (Jim - owner) at HH Contractors to come to my home to fix a minor roof leak. Even though he was at another work site he answered his phone to conduct business, so first impression was great! Despite his busy schedule he happily said he would come to my home the next day and look at my problem and assured me that he was going to great care of me. Well he did just that, he showed up prompt that next day and I greeted him at my door with a smile on his face. Very personable person with a quality of exuding the impression that he's known you forever, without being over familiar. He quickly identified my roof leak and started going to work, he had to run to get a part for my job and when he was heading to his truck he asked me if I needed anything while he was out (wow). While he was fixing the leak he patched up some other potential future problems and cleared the leaves that built up in the crevices of the roof for free. He did great work for a cost that I almost felt guilty giving him. Jim did a great job and I will be calling him to take care of some remodeling jobs my wife and I will be taking on in the near future. *Highly recommend!

Jim was prompt, courteous, and professional and able to get the work done in the short timeframe I needed. He communicated well along the way and did a nice job overall.
