We wanted a specific design for our new deck and Jim Harrison of H-H Construction worked with us to provide the best result. He was responsive, helpful, on time and did what he said he would. There was unanticipated rot when the old deck was removed. H-H removed the rotted wood and found an acceptable solution for the problem. We are delighted with the style and quality of our new deck and would use H-H again for future projects.

Jim and his team consistently do the best work, re-using what they can when replacing existing structures. Communication is great - he sends pictures as they progress through the projects. I can always trust Jim's assessment. He does not use "add ons" to get more work. He does the work I ask him to do, is prompt, is courteous, and is a pleasure to work with. I'll hire him again.

H-H did an awesome job in my home! The H-Hteam put a new roof on my home, gave me new vinyl flooring, repaired the deck and painted the entire inside of my home. Jim worked with me on pricing, keeping me within my budget. I have one or two smaller projects that I look forward to reaching out to H-H Construction to handle for me.

Jim and his team are wonderful! For the duration of time it took to complete our projects, Jim and his team became apart of our family. It was great having them around and they are a professional team!

Once AGAIN, absolutely WONDERFUL work by H - H... flawless attention to detail and fastidious cleanup. They are a very busy and "in demand" service provider that takes their time and does it right so be aware they are NOT always "immediately" available but they also don't "rush" the job to completion. All the staff were polite, professional and kept my wife and I continually up to date on their progress and they double checked with us all the time to make sure we were happy with progress AND if we needed to make any adjustments to our vision. James was courteous and involved (as always) in our entire project and offered ideas and suggests. We really like H -H and continue to rely on them for important jobs.

Jim Harrison from HH Construction is a life saver for our family. We feel so lucky to have found him. Our brother passed away from Covid last year and left behind a rental house he owned in Shawnee on the Delaware. I and my other two siblings were responsible for selling the house as part of our brother's estate settlement. The problem was that none of us lived anywhere near Pennsylvania and the house was in need of major repairs. I spent weeks trying to find someone who could help us out but all were booked for 3 to 6 months out. One day I stumbled across HH Construction's name, read the rave reviews, and gave them a call. Jim Harrison, the owner, picked up the phone after the first ring. Jim was caring and understanding of our situation and said he would find a way to help despite being inundated with projects. Our first conversation was only 3 weeks ago. Today the job is finished and the house is in tip-top shape ready to be put on the market. Jim was a great communicator and sent at least 100 pictures of the work being done and kept us informed of everything every step of the way. I also want to relate this anecdote: We hired one of the top real estate agents in the area to represent the house. When I told her that I had found Jim Harrison to do the renovation, her exact words were, "Oh he's perfect. He can do everything."

It went wonderful. The job was quick and within the time frame discussed. And as always they are very professional, prompt, and clean. I have used this company for multiple projects at this point and they have been great.

The job was to make various repairs to ready my home for sale. He di perform most of the repairs in a workmanlike manner. HoweverThroughout the visit and in the course of contract negotiations I made it clear that fixing a broken door below the sink was one of the most important items on the entire list because of the bad impression this would make on buyers. He was very expensive but I did not mind paying because I knew this would require some work and believed he would do a good job. He never fixed the door despite repeated assurances that he would and repeated requests by me then he broker off communications. did not complete the job or offer a refund. For this reason I would not recommend this contractor.

It went very well, they're quality is outstanding. They showed up on time which I love about them. They're really great to work with.

Excellent!! Jim and Josh were thorough and were able to fix the door immediately when we thought it may have to be replaced. They were prompt, professional, honest, and treated us very well cost-wise. We will definitely be calling on them again with our next handyman project!

As always, H&H provided SUPERIOR work and craftsmanship at incredibly fair and reasonable pricing. They double checked all progress with me throughout both jobs and cleaned up and left the job sites spotless.

Jim and his crew did a great job completing the smaller projects that we needed done around our house. Jim provided updates along the way and provided pictures of the finished work when I wasn't around on the day that the work was completed. I'm planning on using Jim in the future for more work and would recommend him to other people as well.

Since I do not live in the area where this townhouse is situated, it is imperative that I work with people I can trust. Jim is extremely reliable and communicates very well. His work is top notch and he follows through to complete the job thoroughly. He sends photos of the work that is being done so that I can see first hand what is happening. He is one stop shopping. He also repaired the gutters and installed gutter screens/shields on another call. With the furnace situation, getting parts on time was problematic, but Jim was tenacious and the repair is now complete. His team also installed two sump pumps in the crawlspace without complaint. A basement crawlspace where you cannot stand up is not a fun environment to work in. Jim and his team are troopers. I wholeheartedly recommend them without reservation.
