Jim and crew had two bedroom jobs to do. i had a spare bedroom painted floor to ceiling and a hardwood floor put in. He is a meticulous painter and clean and thorough with the windows and moulding. i then painted and put new crown moulding in the master bedroom and also installed a hardwood floor. great job as well. he made a terrific suggestion with the crown moulding and it looks like a million dollars. jim has a good eye for what can be done. overall i was very please with the efficiency and time it took to complete the two jobs. i would recommend highly.

Everything he did was top quality. He is now replacing my old heat pump system and gave me a great price again beating other estimates. Jim treated me like an old friend and not like a new customer. I will be using H-H for other projects after the winter. I highly recommend Jim and his company.

Jim from H-H Construction was an absolute professional to work with. Finding a trusted contractor in a location where it seems EVERYONE is a contractor is a feat, but this is where Angie's List is a great tool. Jim was very good at communicating what needed to be done, and once the work was started, it was completed the same day. He texted me when he was going up to perform the work, and then at the completion of the work, he sent me numerous before and after pictures of the work that was done. We have plenty of more work to do on our little cabin, and I will be using H-H Construction for the remainder of the work. Pricing was absolutely in line with what we expected for this type of job. A+

Jim is friendly, caring and attentive. He will get the work done. His workmen had done part of our job in an unacceptable way; he came right out and fixed it personally. The main gutter work was done by a sub who is part of the team. It was done well. This is our vacation home, so they were careful to send me pictures of what was going on -- especially when they found further things that needed to be done which had not been noticed during the estimate process. I was looking for a new contractor with whom to make a relationship and am glad to have found one. I have several other projects in the works.

I continue to use him. He is proactive, he calls me. Even if it is not his field he tries to help you find someone. He is very helpful. I have no issues, no negatives. He is punctual, he gets back to you really fast, his quality is great, and his prices are good. He will do the extras. He does emergency service.

The team showed up as scheduled, were professional and friendly. Jim inspected the attic and quickly provided what I considered a very reasonable estimate to resolve the issue. There were able to start the work immediately and quickly finished the job with minimal interruption to my day. Overall this was one of the best service experiences I've had in recent memory.

Excellent service ! Our calls were returned immediately and he showed up when he said he would. Very friendly and polite. It's so hard to find reliable contractors or good customer service around here and he delivered both! We are already in the process of hiring him for our next job. Came over day after I called. Great start. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about our interaction. After that day and with repeated follow-up on our part they never followed through on anything, statement of work etc. We would call, he would say I will get it to you tonight and call to follow up and ensure receipt. Not once did he ever do that. We have him many opportunities and nothing. Totally unprofessional and I would not ever recommend.

Jim was very helpfully in laying down possible solutions for my issues. He always called ahead prior to arriving and ensured I understood the work that would be performed and the costs and timelines associated with them. When I was away, he sent pictures of the before and after to make sure I was kept in the loop. There were no surprise cost or issues that you may find with other contractors, the price agreed upon was the price you paid. Overall work was amazing and high quality and very quick turn around.

We had our porch power washed which needed the removal of layers of old stain. It's looks fresh and like new! Jim responded in the same day and came by to give us a quote. He was fair and worked with our schedule. We will be referring him to all of friends and neighbors and using him again!

I could not ask for a better contractor to work on my home. The installers arrived early , worked in a professional and well respected manner. It was an absolute!
