DE-CLOG Plumbing Sewer & Drain Service

Description of Work: Our basement laundry sink backed up with 2 feet of water, would not drain. the basement drain centrifugal pump in the circular drum housing, ran and ran but would not pump the sink dry. The sink stayed backed-up with 2 feet of water. Then later, the pump housing relief valve opened up and started to start to flood the basement. This because my wife upstairs started to shower and the drain back-up pressure opened the pump's housing relief valve pushing water into the basement. | |De Clog, had come fast, saw the problem and rushed outside to the front yard septic tanks. Checked the main outside sewer tanks system: opened the big cover on 2nd end tank. Then dug up the buried manhole (under 16 inches of soil) to inspect the primary settling septic tank and then dug further to reach a little inspection port. At that he unclogged the grease at the house sewer line outlet. Immediately, all was well and back to normal. De Clog said the outlet was plugged with year's collection of congealed kitchen grease. | |Unplugged by De Clog, the entire house drain system drained again like new. He solved the terrible basement problem. The Basement sink / pump worked like it should, once again. | |De Clog Rep added a 4 inch view PVC pipe on the outside sump tank inlet for easier viewing and unclogging in the future. Next day I went to Lowe's and got a 4 inch PVC cap for $3.70. It fit on the new 4 inch inspection pipe perfectly, a new access for any clogging next time. | |I wanted to tip the De Clog person with a big tip for his heroic efforts, but before I could, in a rush, he drove away too fast before I could. I am still trying to reach him so I can tip hip for his tremendous hard work.
