The garage door installation was beautiful. Then he started work on the siding and it was clear he did not know what he was doing as the new siding was falling off before he even left. He did not install the siding properly so we kept having to call him back as more pieces kept falling off and there was also a piece that was installed crooked. When he installed the door on the back of our house two of the screws he drilled to hold the frame were drilled into air so the door would not close properly. The awning was installed and where it attaches to the house it was leaking so I let him know and he came back to fix it and it still leaks till this day. When it came time to do the roof on the garage the weather was bad so we had to delay it. I paid half down for the roof material in June of 2014 and he did not come back out until June of 2015 to do the roof without a phone call or any communication. When he did show up I told him I no longer wanted him to do the work due to quality issues and he wrote me a check to refund the deposit for the materials.
Description of Work: I hired him to replace siding on my house, install new garage doors, a new door on the back of the house, install a awning over our back patio and new roofing on the garage.

I am not quite as happy with them. His name is Dan Schneider. This project started before Memorial Day. It's taken a long time. We had a lot of rain. It rained this morning, and they could have come here this afternoon to put the doors up. They never work past 4 o'clock. Some days, they would leave at noon. We want it done. My husband has waited thirty five years for a garage. Other than that, he is friendly and reasonable. Everything else is good except for that. The price started out at $16000 to build it. Then my husband added another window and he wanted insulated garage doors. I don’t know exactly how much it went up, but it was because my husband added more to it. It wasn’t that they were adding stuff. When they are here and they are working, they are really nice. He has got a couple of guys that work for him; I think that maybe one of them is his son. The only thing is their work schedule. I would think that they could be a little bit more liberal with it when people are waiting. He doesn’t work weekends. The guy that put the cement in came on a Saturday and came back on a Sunday, but not this guy. We were fighting the rain. We have a couple of days that are good days and they just sit doing nothing; that's the only thing I have with him. Everything else is excellent. The price was good; he was willing to match those that work the cheapest of everyone. They are doing a good job.
