In 1958, Samuel Markantone founded the company serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. Not only did Sam’s customers love his wealth of knowledge of the paint industry, but they also enjoyed the quality work he provided for their home. Now carried on by his son, Lucas Markantone, the company retains its values of quality and service, giving each customer’s home attention to detail, proper surface preparation and a superior finished product.

Lucas Markantone Painting has preserved historical sites around Western Pennsylvania, such as a National Historic Landmark the Woodville Plantation, the oldest residence in Allegheny County, as well as, Old St. Luke’s Church, which has the distinction of being the oldest church west of the Allegheny Mountains of which building stones used to build it were quarried from Jerusalem.
