Description of Work: We had no hot water coming out of our seldom used down stair shower. We had hot water everywhere else in our house but nothing in the shower. I called and within an hour they had someone here. He knew immediately what our problem was and brought in the company pricing book. This was a little strange to me. We haven't used a plumber in years and the member, non-member pricing was a little confusing. Why not a fair price for everyone?? This left a little bit of a bad taste with this company. However, Derek got right to work and within an hour or less had hot water coming through the show head. We needed a new Cylinder in the faucet because it seized up due to the fact that is hardly ever used. He was personable, through, and cleaned up nicely when he was finished. Certainly someone I'd want working for me if I owned a company. Overall I was pleased but the cost seemed very high for the amount of actual work that was done. '

Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen sink - water not moving at all. Derek, the technician, had to work quite hard at unclogging the pipes but he did it. He cleaned up afterwards - he made it cleaner than it probably was! He was personable, professional, and gave me some do's/don'ts for drain clogs. I dreaded calling a plumbing service because you always fear the worst - thank you to Angie's List for posting this company - I did not know about them. I would definitely have them back for any problems.

Description of Work: I initially hired the company to check all of the drains in my home, as the home hadn't been well-maintained "in the details," prior to my purchase. I hired this company because they ran great special to do this service. The service technician, Al, arrived right on time; he put protective booties on anytime he was in my home; he gave me his business card which included his picture, he was very courteous; he explained everything he did, as well as showed me what he was doing; and he did an Excellent job. I then inquired about several other services I was interested in. He gave me estimates for each and explained their service contract, which I think is an excellent idea, so I purchased it. I'm a believer in preventative maintenance! I had him service my gas fireplace, as I understand it must be done by a plumber. He not only fixed my fireplace, but showed me everything about it, AND...he CLEANED it - vacuumed it out and cleaned the glass and outside surfaces. He showed me where the gas valve was and how to access it if necessary. I was extremely pleased!
