It went very well. I initially had a clog which is why I purchased the deal. I ended up purchasing a water softener, and a clean air system. I would recommend them. They were absolutely fantastic.

It was fine. They came out to clean a line for our washing machine. They cleaned everything up well and I’ve used them since then.

Wow! Great device!! And we couldn't believe the price! Our service provider was courteous and knowledgable. He got the job done quickly, and now our life is back to normal. We really had a mess before he arrived, and he came and did the job quickly and thoroughly. I was expecting a bill that was at least $300, and it was $99!!!!!!!! Yippee!! I am a happy customer!!

We had the main line back up into our basement, I gave them a call while we were trying to snake out whatever the problem was. I set the appointment for the morning, but that night we snaked out a rag and that seem to be what the problem was. I figured we could still have them come out to check on it. The guy showed up 10 minutes early (I believe his name was Greg) I told him I think we fixed it but if he could check up on it to be sure. I filled the bathtub, drained it while flushing the toilet, and he inspected everything while I was doing that. He explained everything he was doing, answered any question I had. Really nice guy, great experience all together. I'm sticking with this company anytime I need a plumber from here on out, and I'll be recommending them to anyone who needs plumbing service! A+

Bought the $99 drain cleanout special for a basement floor drain. After purchasing and scheduling through Angies List, the provider got back to me in a timely fashion to set up the appt. However, in the course of setting a time up to complete the work, the company rep mentioned this deal did not include landlord/tenant situations or investment properties. This was mentioned nowhere in the deal. Frustrating to say the least. It's not clear to me how a clogged drain at an investment property is in any way substantially different from a typical homeowner situation.The company rep assured me that it is a piece of cake to get a refund through Angie's List, that remains to be seen but I hope she is right.

Totally RIPPED OFF!!! Don't use this company. Called for help on replacing Moen shower valve cartridge that I had tried to replace myself and had problems. Called, came next day. Service tech spent 45 min replacing cartridge. CHARGED ME $547 ---- yes - five hundred forty seven dollars!!!!! Cartridge is $39 at HomeDepot. This is so far out of line that this is criminal. I don't know what is up with this company BUT DON'T CALL THEM!!

The service went great. They came across some other issues that we ended up taking care of with them. One technician came out and completed the job in several hours. He did a very thorough job and was great at explaining everything. He kept us well informed of everything he was doing during the service. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Friendly, knowledgeable and prompt.

They were very professional and nice over the phone. Just did not need the deal. I would call them if I needed anything done.

Well. I will need to replace the system. Want to look into geothermal first but if I do not go with that, would definitely use Lancaster Plumbing, Heating and cooling They also replaced my sewer drain this winter despite 6 inches of snow and 20 degree weather.

Man came in, ran a sewer line opener from the yard to the main sewer line and from the yard, back to the house. said we were good to go. Two days later, water backed up in the cellar again. Called them and they said I need a power wash/jet spray done to my line to clean it out permanently (one yr. warranty). (The cost to do the initial cleaning was a special for $99.00 -- and I thought the "good to go" statement meant the lines were clean.) They wanted a little over $600.00 to do the power wash in the lines. I got another company to do the work for 1/3 the cost. I didn't understand that "good to go" was only a 'temporary fix'. Live and learn.

When he arrived he was courteous and went right to work. To know we just paid $99 for someone to use a coat hanger to unclog the drain was disheartening. In addition, within a week the drain was clogged again and I do not believe the root cause was corrected. He was in and out within 5 minutes. However, I do have to commend the gentleman as he did help fix a double flushing toilet with a 30 second evaluation and quick fix free of charge.

Everything went smoothly. The employee explained the process thoroughly, suggested a possible agent that can be used to help clear the blockage. I expected much more expense and I was pleased at how little it cost.

We chose this company based on a $99 promotion and good rating. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect. The techs showed up on time. They were very friendly and courteous. They immediately slipped on boot covers upon entering the home. I explained/showed them the problem. They immediately got to work on clearing the line. Once finished they explained what they did and what they found. They also did not leave behind any mess, in fact they cleaned up some mess that was left behind from a previous plumbing company that I hadn't gotten to yet. These guys seemed very knowledgeable and to care about the work they perform. I would definitely recommend these guys.

The service went great. The plumber arrived right on time (maybe even a few minutes early, which is never bad) and got right to work. We thought we had a clogged line in the house as the toilet was not properly flushing but a typical plunger wouldn't do the trick. The plumber quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Great work and would definitely use them again for plumbing services.

Overall, the service went really well. The tech was incredibly professional and did a thorough job in inspecting and diagnosing the problem. We had a fan motor that was temperamental in starting and a weakening voltage converter. He gave 5 options to fix the problem, from replacing the AC unit ($$$$) to just replacing the voltage converter (less $). However, the main issue seemed to be with the fan motor, so we elected to replace the fan motor and voltage converter. I found the tech to be incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He arrived right on time and diligently worked to diagnose and repair. The service was good enough that I signed up for the service plan through Lancaster Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for periodic checks/cleanings, etc. The only drawback is that their pricing is quite high. The parts used cost no more than $200, meaning markup and labor was nearly $500. Their techs do seem to be well trained, but $500 for labor on this job is steep no matter how well trained they are. We will be likely to use them again for service related items, but will have to shop around for any big repairs/replacements to ensure we get a fair price. All in all, however, the important thing is that the job was done right and done quickly, which it certainly was.

Provided good advise on how to handle this in a large area.

We purchased a coupon to have a drain line cleared do to water backing up. They arrived and in a few minutes determined it was the septic. At this point he said it would be a $49.00 charge. I asked how to handle the Angie's List. He had no idea. Took him awhile to find out I just contact you guys for a refund. He then told us it would be $79.00 charge because we are not a member. I did feel that was a little steep for just showing up. I expected to pay something. Just not 80% of what it would have been could they have done the work. We have now contacted a septic company to fix the problem. Gentleman that came out was very polite and professional.

I purchased a $99 Big Deal for clearing of one drain. I just moved in to my house and the bathroom sink drain was left clogged. I purchased the deal on Thursday June 5th and within the hour, I was scheduled for service Friday June 6th. The office staff was extremely pleasant to work with. I was told my service window was 12 - 4pm and at 12:15pm on the day of service I received a call asking if they could send the tech. They even send an email with the technicians picture, bio and service history! The technician, Greg, was prompt and professional. He diagnosed the situation, remedied the drain clog and replaced the existing drain trap and downpipe. His demeanor was constantly professional and his communication was excellent. For a first-time homeowner, this interaction was fantastic! I would definitely utilize Lancaster Plumbing Heating & Cooling again in the future!

They were able to come out for the estimate the day after I called, and the plumber even performed the work at the same time. It took him about 1 hour. It was very convenient and nice to have it completed so quickly. He was friendly and professional. My only question was the price, it seemed a bit steep to me. Though I'm not familar with how much these services typically cost. There was no breakdown of labor and parts. I called to find out after, but they said they just base it off the job needing done. It's also a $79.99 service fee just for them to come out, unless you're a member...then it's less.

Payed the service thru Angie's list and sent a message to Lancaster Plumbing about my dilemma on how my clogged kitchen sink/drain caused me a flooded kitchen floor. In less than an hour, they called me right away and scheduled a technician. Jay did a good job...and I was so happy that I didn't have to wait for a day or two to have it fixed.

Called LPH on Monday to fix an outside faucet because we weren't comfortable repairing it because it is connected to a PVC pipe and we were afraid that we might break the PVC pipe. We scheduled the appointment with LPH for Friday at 1:00PM. The office called at 12:55PM to let us know that the plumber had several emergencies and couldn't come out. We agreed on the following Monday at 7:30AM. At 7:50AM, we had to call them to find out where the plumber was. The person in the office couldn't find us in their system, but then told us that we were on the schedule. She located the plumber and he showed up at 8:10AM. We have used LPH in the past and they always called at least a half hour before coming to let us know. When the plumber arrived, he was very sick and was not "in a good mood". He looked at the faucet and told my husband that it had to be replaced. My husband asked if he could use a repair kit and was told that "they don't make them". The plumber then asked to see the basement. He proceeded to look at our hot water heater, filtration system and air conditioner/heater system. Why? He then tried to sell us a "Service Partner Membership". We told him that we didn't want that. He quoted us a "flat price" for the faucet of $350 (including a senior discount). We needed the faucet repaired so we agreed. SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT IT BEFORE AGREEING. As soon as we agreed to the faucet replacement, his mood improved a lot! As he was replacing the pipe in the basement I asked again why he couldn't fix the faucet and he told me that the inside had broken because it froze during the winter because we left a hose hooked up. We never leave the hose connected to the faucet! The faucet is a Woodford Model 27 -Backflow Protected Automatic Draining Freezeless Wall Faucet!! It shouldn't have froze. The plumber was going to take the faucet with him but I kept it. He had removed the quick disconnect for the hose and took that. My husband has since taken the faucet apart and none of the insides appear broken, just worn out. I noticed after the plumber left that the work order stated the reason for the call was - "estimate to replace outside faucet". NOT REPAIR IT. I had to ask the model number for the new faucet which is a Woodford 17CP. I looked on the internet and found several sites that sell repair kits for the Woodford Model 27, so the plumber lied to us. Pricing for the repair kit is in the range of $25.00. We can purchase the Woodford 17CP at Home Depot for $35.00. The plumber was at our house less than an hour! With that in mind LPH's labor and profit margin for less than hour's work was $300. That is outrageous. I submitted this situation to LPH on their website and contacted two days later and was offered the "Gold Service Partner Membership". I told the person in the office that we have a company that takes care of our cooling and heating system and like we told the plumber - we aren't interested. We originally used Lancaster Plumbing and Heating because of positive reviews on Angie's List. The first two times we had them out the service technicians were very professional and seemed interested in helping the customer. Pricing for the services were reasonable. We recommended LPH to several of our neighbors. This call seemed like the service technician just wanted to sell us something and the response to our complaint was to offer us a service contract that we don't want. Very disappointed in Lancaster Plumbing and Heating. We thought that they were a reputable company and hope this was an isolated incidence.

Pipes were fine. No work needed to be done.

My experience went very well. I was pleased with the service and would recommend this company to others.

I have an ongoing account with them. I'm completely satisfied with them. They came out right away and fixed it. I called some other companies and it would have been a day or two before they got here but Lancaster was here within two hours. Their price was reasonable.
