On time professional. Drained the water out of the water heater and said that was the cleaning. Looked under the sinks and told me that one of the drains was going to rust out in the near future. He pointed out an occaisional drip at the pressure relief valve in the primary water line by the pressure tank (Well system) Offered to fix it for $275. He didn't have the part on his truck, so it wasn't done and I didn't pursue it. It probably cost more than $49 dollars to drive out from Lancaster. Offered a service contract of some kind for a larger amount.

The technician, Kevin Jones, did an excellent job. He was polite, professional, extremely clean and organized. The pipe was definitely giving him a fit (second story kitchen, rusty cast iron down through the basement). He tried to sweep it a couple times, but couldn't get it. Any other plumber at this point would have absolutely approached me about charging extra to go to the basement and get into the pipe from another location. He did not. He worked tirelessly for almost three hours until it was working properly. And at the end of the job......they charged me $99, exactly what was quoted. I have them now giving me a bid on a new HVAC system. I will call these guys for my next plumbing job.

The plumber, Aaron, was very professional and did a stellar installation job. He made sure I understood the system. I was further impressed that I received a phone call from the company informing me that Aaron was running late. This was my second interaction with this company and employee. Thumbs up to both!

Very well. Serviceman was polite and competent. Job was more difficult then expected and took longer but he kept to his initial quote.

.See above. The problem I had was was difficult to tell if I needed a plumber or a roto rooter guy. In the end, the roto guy wanted to break throught my foundation and redo plumbing that had worked for 40 years for thousands of dollars. I then called 3 other experts in and they all disagreed with him about doing something that drastic. I had the pipes cleaned all the way out to the street and now have no more problems.

I prefer to use them when I have need of a plumber. The person that came out was knowledgeable, I was able to talk to him, and he was able to tell me things that I needed to know. He did something for me that he doesn’t normally do; he sent a camera down the line. He did that because it didn’t really cost him any extra in terms of time or effort. That was a nice little extra perk that I appreciated. He was able to show me what my line looked like inside and that gave me peace of mind. He told me what to do so that I don’t have to call him again. He was clean and I thought he was professional. He knew his plumbing but he also knew how to do customer service. I would give them B’s across the board. I don’t give anyone an A unless they need to hear it.

The work went very well, they were very professional. They did a good job, and I am very pleased so far.

He came out and looked at everything. I was happy with the service however, the main reason I got the deal was because it said that they had a camera that went down to inspect the drain and that was included in the price. He stated that in order to do that they had to unbolt and remove the toilet to get a straight shot of the pipes because it didn't bend or go through small pipes. It would have been a $30 charge to remove the toilet. I later did my research and found the about 80-90% of homes do not have the appropriate venting pipes and it would require removing the toilet to use the camera. I didn't get the service that I thought I would of. He was really nice and very knowledgable about plumbing but overall I was disappointed.

They were very prompt and came when he said he would. He was easy to get along with and helpful. It didn't take him long to do the job and he knew exactly what to do. Everything turned out fine.

Following minor confusion concerning the cost of the services requested, I was contacted by the operations manager of Lancaster Plumbing Heating and Cooling. He explained there was a misunderstanding concerning the cost of the services, he took responsibility, and said he would correct the situation through technician training. This is a refreshing example of extraordinary business leadership and customer service. He then said he would credit my account for the previous service call and would send a technician out to service my air conditioner at an extremely reasonable cost. The technician did so and was very efficient and courteous. Lancaster Plumbing is now the only service provider I will use for plumbing, heating, and cooling. I highly recommend them.

I'd have to say that the overall experience was so-so...I was scheduled to have the AC guy (Jake) arrive at 9:00 am, but he arrived at 9:30, I was also scheduled to have the Plumber (Alan) arrive at the same time, but he arrived at 10:00 am! Promptness was definitely a factor, and neither response fit the bill. They both provided good services but, I think I might have to consider another company in the future mainly because of their costs. To me, their services seemed a bit expensive! The Lancaster Plumbing and Heating $99.00 offer for the AC check I did agree to; no problem there. However, I think I'm in need of a second opinion as to whether or not I need the "recommended" parts for my central AC to run more efficiently (which would have cost me a few hundred dollars more). I also agreed to Lancaster Plumbing and Heating's $99.00 offer for the drain clearing but I ended up spending $525.00 for my main line to be cleaned (I think this is what's connected to the sewer line; it's the line that runs from my house to the city sewer line)! I expected to pay $99.00 for each drain to be cleared, including the main line. To me, this offer was misleading.

I would definitely use Lancaster Plumbing again! Well who wants to spend $625? It's the going rate and it was necessary. I've used 2 other plumbers and wouldn't hire them again. I would definitely use Lancaster Plumbing again!!

Al was great. They did what they said they would do for the price quoted. He also showed me potential problem with my sewer lines that we will have them correct in the near future. I will certainly use them again.

He carefully installed the faucet at the sink and cleaned the tub drain. He could not install the tub faucet due to its location. This was disappointing as it was the primary purpose for the service. He explained why and we realized that it could not be done by anyone without ripping out the entire wall. Maybe in the future?

We had a clogged toilet so we called them to clear the clog. They had a $99.00 special available. They performed the service that we paid for. THEN, he said we needed to replace the toilet. We agreed but asked for estimates. He quoted us over $600.00 to replace the toilet! We declined. We went to Home Depot, bought a toilet for $200.00 and put it in ourselves. We feel that the quoted price was totally inflated. For that reason, we can only assume that all of their quoted prices will be over inflated. We will not use this firm for any of the services that they have available.

Very pleased with Derek, the plumber who serviced our acct. High quality of workmanship. Called and personally stopped back over when we had questions. Made suggestions on products that filled our needs but remained reasonable in price. Overall good experience.

They're pretty good. They came right out to do the work. The technicians are very knowledgeable and professional.

It was a special, and they did fine. They charged $79 for the service because it was a special on Angie’s List. They were good in everything they did. The guy was very good about being punctual and professional. If I had to, I would use them again in the future.

I don’t much approve them at all. I think they have a membership plan that is kind of bogus. They had an advertisement in the newspaper, which said that there is no charge for providing service on the weekends and in the nights, so, I did that and they came over. When they came in, they charged me a large amount of money and a membership fee, so that I wouldn’t have these charges, but it was still a large bill. I think the membership thing was not right. After my membership, it was a quick visit from them later on, but I consider it unethical. I think they should charge everyone one price and not do this membership thing. The repair was fine and they were friendly. The service was fine, but the prices are high. I will not use their services in future.

The plumber was great, and the very simple fix, which he showed me how to do myself in the future, took just a few minutes. I was charged over $500 for this, which seems a bit excessive, even on an emergency call.

They were fine. They did a good job. We also had them do some plumbing which they did not do well. We had them come back to redo it. They were very willing to come back. They wanted to follow up, but since it was very expensive we chose not to use them for that.
