Description of Work: Purchased a deal for plumbing services, for which I planned to use to have them fix a leaky sink. During the fix, one of the hoses leading to the sink became detached. The service provider was unable to fix the hose, or find a replacement part. Instead I purchased a new faucet (which we had planned to do later this year anyway), and they installed it for me for no charge to compensate for the issue with the hose. They really went the extra mile to provide a good experience, and I was impressed with their customer service. The service provider on site, Greg, was very professional and personable and really tried to solve the problem with the hose before we decided to just replace the entire fixture.

Description of Work: We had a running toilet. The young man Sullivan sent went upstairs to check out the toilet tank, and my husband overheard him calling in to his office (we assume) to say he didn't know how to fix it. I guess he didn't recognize the flapper? He then told my husband he didn't have the correct part and would have to come back the next day, and that it would cost $220. It was right before Thanksgiving and we were desperate, so my husband begrudgingly said ok. Later that evening my daughter's boyfriend stopped by and said he could fix it with a $5 part. He did. I called Sullivan the next day to cancel the followup appointment. To their credit, at least they didn't charge us for the unhelpful visit on Monday.

Description of Work: Got the angies list special from them for a toilet tune up... and they made it flush and work perfectly. Flapper had to be replaced and a few other adjustments made to the toilet to make it perfect...but its perfect now. No more holding down the handle, no more gilling it to get the water to stop flowing etc...

Description of Work: I had an add-on bidet. My son said that he had installed his in 12 minutes. I took advantage of the deal so that I could have mine installed by a plumber even though my son said it was idiot proof. The plumber told me that though I had $100.00 credit and no trip charge due to the $39 I had paid Angie's list, the job would cost $225.00 less the $100.00 credit. My son is the director of technology at a fortune 500 company, and not a plumber, and he did it in 12 minutes. What I was told was that it was not the nature of the job and its ability to be done quickly, but rather each job has a price, and the price of this 12 minutes or less job was $225.00

Description of Work: They ran a snake cleaning out the sewer and then ran a video camera providing more detailed information as to what was going wrong in my sewer line.
