He was great at looking at other things that might cause me problems in the future. He was not pushy. He gave me some estimates on things and also gave me a $25 coupon for my next service call. He did a great job. I called him out for the drippy faucet and he did the other extra things. I was very pleased with him. I will definitely call him again if needed.

My experience was very positive with them from scheduling an appointment to the respectful nature and professionalism I experienced from the workers who came to my home to perform the work. They even adjusted a vent for my air conditioning that improved /silenced the system more effectively without any additional charge.

I purchased the Sullivan drain cleaning / inspection "Special" through Angie's List. I called Sullivan for an appointment and they were able to send someone the same day. They also told me that I needed to remove my toilet for them to honor that price. I agreed and got the toilet out of the way before the plumber showed up. He ran the snake down the line once and then left. Then the guy with the inspection camera came in and showed me the problems still in the line. His job was to convince me that the sewer line needed replacing. (There were no breaks or damage to the line) This was NOT a drain cleaning service - it was a sewer line replacement sales call. I would still like them to come back and finish cleaning my sewer line!

The two gentlemen that came out from Sullivan's Service (on time by the bye, with a 30 minute heads up call - which was nice) were very professional. I believe one of them was part of the Sullivan family. Anyway, they came out and quoted me $357 dollars to replace my igniter. I told them that that seemed pretty high, so asked how long such a service would take. He said "15 minutes" but, when realizing the craziness of such a high price compared to low time needed to fix an igniter (or maybe seeing the astonishment in my face), he tried to cover his tracks by selling me the fact that they are a family company, that they are with the BBB, and that some of his $357 estimate includes their insurance regulations as well as gas for their travel..!!???!!!. (I don't really think telling me that your high price is so high because of things like travel pay is a good selling point). I said thanks but no thanks. Before they left they did go back up and finish the Angies List inspection deal (which I don't regret buying simply because I found out through his inspection what type of igniter I had). As soon as they left I looked up the part number for my specific igniter and found it at a store in the Strip District for $25. I called my Uncle who has been doing HVAC for 25+ years (I know, I know; something I should have done earlier) and had him come out to help install. Took us less than an hour to remove old igniter and install new one - and he thought $357 was a scam for that work. Although I am all for small/family businesses, I don't think the term "small business" should be synonymous with "That's why we charge so much..." In short, I am sure they will do a good and thorough job as long as you can afford it.

When I called to request a visit to have two slow running/clogged sinked clears the receptionist was very nice and accomodating. She said they would also inspect two toilets as a free add on to the service. She scheduled our work for two days later and told me it would be in the morning hours between 8:00 and 12:00. At 11:30 the date of the appointment she called and advised the plumber had just finished his last job which ran late and would it be okay if he still came to do our repairs since it was almost noon. I agreed and Gary was here within 15 minutes. Gary was professional and took the time to explain everything to me. He successfully cleared the drains. During the additional service of checking the toilets he found one of our second story toilets actually was loose and needed to be reset which could have been a disaster if it had leaked. I was very pleased with the work, timeliness and great attitude and service these folks provided. I definately would recommend Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating and Cooling.

Arrived on time. called 20 minutes prior. Wife was home. Did all his checks and discussed everything with the Mrs. Clean,polite, and courtious. Would reccomend.

The dispatcher, Samantha, was professional and helpful in scheduling the service. The technician, Bob, was thorough, with the system inspection, professional, polite and helpful. Additionally, coupons for provided for future service. Another excellent experience with Sullivan's.

We have used them a number of times from the last year. We purchased a big deal for them. We ended signing up a service agreement with them that they come out and check the air conditioner and heat once a year with discounts and everything. It was a fantastic experience. The service worker that they had, which coincidentally was the only one we've ever had come out to the house, not by request but just by circumstance. He's been out here three or four times just by circumstance. We call them, make an appointment and the same guy shows up, which is kind of coincidence. He is very knowledgeable and very nice. He went over everything and told us what we could do. He told us if it would cost more or what would the cost be. We discussed future projects and what we could expect from that. Based on our experience there, we signed up with their service plan. We get discounts and free visits for seasonal checkups and stuff like that. The serviceman was on time. When he was doing things, he didn't take a long time to go about it. He got everything done pretty quickly and was a pleasure to work with. I don't really have anything negative.

I am yet to hear from the service provider regarding the deal I purchased. I will follow up once the work has been completed.

I used an $89 Angie's List Big Deal coupon on this service. They were great and came out promptly. They did good work and I definitely recommend them. I also have asbestos tile in my basement so they recommended that it be removed. I ended up with an insurance claim because of that material; it worked out well and they were very good.

Very well. Sullivan Plumbing will return to replace trap and clean out drains.

I purchased a $49 big deal for air conditioning tune-up with fifteen-point inspection plus a free plumbing inspection. I scheduled an appointment with them, and before the four hour appointment window closed, they called me and told me that they were not going to show us. I asked when they would reschedule it, and they told me that they do not know when they are going to do that. They do not have any professionalism. It seemed to me that the management of the day-to-day operations of the appointment is handled by a woman who is probably in high school, maybe college. She could not care less whether or not the services were provided. I asked to speak with the owner; I was told I couldn’t. I asked if they could reschedule the thing today, and they told me that they do not do it that way.

I had purchased a Sullivan's Angie's List deal coupon "Replace outdoor faucet" for $79. When I would turn my outdoor faucet on it would always leak a little by the valve when turned on, so I thought this was a good time to have it replaced. I set up an appointment and the lady on the phone was very courteous, professional and responded fast. I was given a day and a time range for their visit. When the day came of the appointment, time passed and no one showed up. I had to leave the house so I called and we found out there was a mis-communication on their end and we had to reschedule for another day. He showed promptly on the 2nd appointment day. But after he took a look at my faucet I was told there wasn't enough room for him to work with the soldering torch because the faucet was installed on the house. To replace my faucet would cost a lot more. I had him give me a quote and he gave me a quote for an amount over $700 (I forget the exact amount, and this was in addition to the $79 coupon I had already paid for). I thought that price was outrageously high. He told me that for the $79 he could try to adjust my current faucet and see if he could make it leak less when turned on. Long story short, it made it worse. And now it was leaking when it was turned off, which it never did before. I didn't have a shut off valve for it (the former owner finished the basement) so now I had an always leaky outdoor faucet and winter was coming. I asked him if he could do any better on the price because I thought it was very high. He applied a couple of small discounts and lowered the quote to $651.00 He told me he had to go to another job and that he could come back to do the job. I told him that if he couldn't do it right now, I would schedule something for a week later because I had other plans and that way I had time to get another quote. He then decided he would do it now. The whole job took no more than an hour. He cut a hole, 6x9 inches in the ceiling in the basement right behind the faucet. Turned out I had a shut off valve there. He cut the pipe, put a new faucet on a new piece of pipe, put in a new shut off valve and covered the hole in the ceiling with a slide in access panel ($10 at the home depot I found out). He was very professional and nice and he did a good job. But I can't help having the feeling that I was ripped off by this company, as the cost of such a small job was EXTREMELY high. Well, shame on me. The only reason I had them do it was because I didn't want to be left with a leaky faucet, and spend another day waiting on service plus I had already paid this company the $79 for the coupon. I was out a total of $730.00 Needless to say, I can not recommend Sullivan and I will probably not purchase another Angie's list coupon again.

The young man that came to find the reason why water was baking up in our laundry room, seem very knowledgable about trouble shooting. He explained what the problem was and how he was going to unblock the sewer He fixed the problem right away. We could not get the camera inspection of the sewer at the same time. An appointment had to be made for another time due to the busy schedule of the technician. After the technician examined the pipes he gave us his recommendation to keep from having back up sewer pipes.

In the end things worked out all right. But there were many twists and turns along the way, primarily because the tank developed a crack while it was being repaired and had to be replaced. Unfortunately even once that was done, the toilet still continued to run after flushing. They came out again and fixed things -- hopefully for good. While this cost a lot more money than I had expected, and involved a lot more of my time (to locate a new tank, be there for several visits, etc.) I like the company. They know their stuff and do good work. I would use them again.

It went very well overall. From the initial call to the final installation, everything was really smooth. The only hiccup in the process is that we waited a long time to get a quote for the new motor and the price for a hard starter kit (a possible alternative to the new motor, that ended up not working), to help us decide how to proceed. Other than this delay, everything went well.

Attempts to schedule the service was problematic. No response to emails, despite having an email address posted. When service was eventually scheduled via phone, the wrong time of day was noted by the scheduler - so a second attempt had to be made. The serviceman was polite and professional. He replaced my outdoor faucet and took his time to do the job well. Overall I am very satisified with the work that was done.

Sullivan services was a great provider. My wife arranged the appointment time. A representative came, checked all of the sinks, toilets, tubs/drains, and made sure they drained properly. Note, they did not do a full "code" inspection but a spot inspection to make sure things were working properly. We bought the "Big Deal" coupon so they would clean a badly clogged shower drain, so the inspection wasn't something of great concern, but it was a nice addition. The representative easily unclogged our bathroom shower drain and made some recommendations for floor drain covers to prevent a reoccurrence.

The provider was punctual and completed the dye test required to sell my home. His work took less than an hour and involved dropping dye markers into the gutter drains and noting through a main sewer outlet that run off was not entering the municipal sewer line. He had to remove the sewer plate inorder to view the drain activity and he filled out the necessary paper work required by the municipality.

We had already purchased Sullivan's Outdoor Hose Faucet Replacement big deal and had the work scheduled. A few days before they were scheduled to come out our main sewer line backed up. We were able to get it going again, but we called Sullivan before they came out to see if they could snake out the drain while they were here. Adding the additional service was not a problem. When the guys arrived, they replaced the faucet, snaked the drain and ran a camera down it. They also replaced the dripping relief valve on our water heater. They were very courteous and professional and the work was done well. We would definitely call them again for future plumbing work.
