The gentelman who came first tested the water pressure and explained that the pressure was too strong coming into the house, and that is possibly why we have toliet running problem(s). He said there was something they could install, but I heard estimate of hundreds of dollars and immediately said no. He then checked the toliet and unclogged the drain. He also talked us into some biochemical cleaner to use once a month. I bought it, used it, but not sure yet if it will be effective. The gentleman who performed the service was very nice and used shoe covers which I greatly appreciated.

Before I bought this coupon, my toilet clogged about once a month. That's the reason I bought this coupon. But after I bought the coupon, it never clogged. The coupon will expire in three months so I have to make appointment. Gary from Sullivan was here. He is a young guy, very nice but explained to me that he couldn't clean the main drain because there is no easy assess, and he couldn't clean my bathtub drain because it's an old style drain. By the way, I asked if he could clean the drain of my second floor tenant's--he couldn't--because this coupon is for owner occupied home only. He suggested me if we want to have a no-clog toilet, we can replace our two year old toilet into their company's carry brand. If we want our bath won't clog needs to replace bathtub drain. Here is his unbelievable quote: $2638 to replace the toilet and bathtub drain. $1505 to replace the bathtub drain only. (He offered he can deduct $50 from the above estimate if I ask the to do the job because I have paid $49 to buy this coupon.)Of course I won't pay for that. In the end, I chose spent $65 to buy "Bio-clean" drain cleaner from him. (It's $39 on ebay with free shipping). I regret to buy the coupon from Angie's list. But $65 is the cheapest way I can get "something" back.

My house is about 80 years old and has some waste water problems. I needed to get all my plumbing inside the house and properly connected to the main waste pipe. My kitchen sink drainpipe exited the house through the kitchen wall and then went under the porch where it connected to a very old clay sewer pipe shared with the house next door. The old clay pipe had collapsed (Sullivan had inspected it previously) and was not draining properly. My kitchen sink wouldn't drain and made a lot of noise whenever my neighbors used water. In addition, the floor drains in my basement laundry room were full of roots and had not been properly constructed initially, so I needed to get my washer moved and connected to the main waste line. I got three estimates for the work (as was advised in Angie's March booklet) and was surprised to find that all three had very different ideas on how to solve my problem for approximately the same cost. Sullivan came up with the best and simplest solution. When Joe and DJ arrived on time as promised, they rerouted the kitchen sink drainline so that it would not interfere with traffic in the basement. They moved the washer and rerouted the existing copper pipe that had supplied a no-longer-used shower to the washer in its new location. They installed new shutoffs for the washer and new drains and vent. The work was professionally done in one day. I was given a credit of $100 through "Sullivan Bucks" from their last visit and also was given a discount for scheduling the work during a slow time for them. I am completely happy and satisfied with all of the work that Sullivan has done for me, and all my plumbing is working perfectly!

Workman was professional and pleasant. Most of all, he did a good job!

They are very professional and do good work. They are a little pricey if it is not a Big Deal.

Overall, the services were performed but I felt VERY reluctantly. When I called to schedule, I was told the video cam was ONLY if I was having problems. Huh? That's what made this deal a "big deal" since video cam of pipes is pricey. When the workers got here, the video cam guy was acting as if he'd never get the cam in the drain; I told him it will fit, it had been done in the past. He did the camera work and I asked for a written report to be sent to me and it never was. I told them I want and need this for my records. Sullivan also gave me a quote for fixing a frozen pipe and it was nearly TWICE what other quotes were. They also tried to sell me some kind of maintenance plan and told me the reason they do this "Big Deal" is to get more work.

We had a toilet that had the hardware replaced by my husband and it was still leaking. Sullivan came in and noticed that a piece of plastic had to be cut for it close properly. He did that in a matter of 3 minutes which was great. We then had him look at two kitchen faucets that needed replaced because the water pressure was low. He went into his van and returned with a very expensive estimate of $1300.00 to replace the faucets and lines if we purchase from them and $800.00 if we bought our own faucets. The deal on Angie's list was $79.00 for 255.00 worth of work. The toilet was $137.00 and he said the remaining could go towards faucets. I was glad the toilet was fixed but we found another company to help with the kitchen faucets with a cheaper estimate.

I was overall very happy with the experience. The work they did has held up and was done with good quality. I had initially bought the discounted deal for cleaning the sewer line, however they explained to me that would unnecessary given my home's location and that my coupon could be best applied a different way. Generally I am skeptical when someone would tell me that, but in this case they did do the correct thing and I think completed a lot of work for a reasonable price.

Sullivan set up the dates with my wife and my tenants quickly and performed the services within a week or two. Great experience.

Gary was on-time, professional and very knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time talking with me and explaining everything, which as a new homeowner I really appreciated. He finished all of the work in what seemed like a really reasonable amount of time. While he was working, he also set up a video camera inspection of my sewer line for me.

The installer arrived on time and was professional in appearance in demeanor. Removed old equipment and installed new quickly and with little mess. Recommended that an expansion tank be installed at a cost of $200.00 which I found out later was higher than normal. Also, had him give a quote for a new hot water boiler circulation pump and it was 2 1/2 times more than another quote that I received. He had to call the office to get all pricing so this is not a reflection on the competence of the installer but does indicate the pricing structure of the company. Would use them again only if offered a special price from Angie's List.

I felt that the serviceman seemed most interested in selling me a list of what he called "investments" - i.e., additional services at additional cost.

I contacted the company and they set up for the guys to come out Wednesday, March 6th between 1-4pm. They called Wednesday, March 6th and stated they would not be able to come out and re=scheduled for Wednesday, March 13th, between 1-4pm.they arrive and got right to work. They took care of the job and the space was left in great shape. I could not be home, but my grown son dealt with the workers and felt they were very professional. They left the bill "paid in full" (I used a coupon from Angie's list). They left a note pad and some coupons for future work. I would definitely use them again.

Gary was the master plumber and he was great! He did very professional work. He was very friendly, professional, courteous, and easy to work with. He arrived on time first thing in the morning with his crew each day. I would recommend them to others.

This was an Angie's List deal. Their pricing is flat rate which inflates it quite a bit. Nevertheless, Gary was very professional and courteous and did a good job.

Things went well over the phone, the gal was very pleasant. She checked into for me, she called back when she said she would with an answer.

The special price of the service was just to get in the door to sell additional services that were priced extremely high. The service performed at the discounted price was not worth the discounted amount.

I had my furnace inspected and a repair done on it ( the technician permanently covered an an opening from an old humidifier). He also inspected the water heater, checked out and fixed a minor problem on a humidifier, and checked out a slow running bathtub drain. I had a little money left to spend, but did not have anything else that needed checked out. I was pleased with all of the work done. I asked the technician many questions and he was very friendly and helpful.

The technician was a very talented and delight to deal with, we'll be calling them for other work in the future!!

Do your research before hiring Sullivan.

The plumber was friendly and professional but ended up giving me an outrageous estimate for the work. He wanted $550 dollars to put the toilet back on and said he needed some special parts etc to raise the flange due to the new flooring. But, and here's the great part, he wanted $1200+ to replace the toilet with a new, more efficient toilet. Of course, I handed over the $50 (outrageous in itself) fee for coming out to assess the job, thanked him and had him on his way. We consulted with others who confirmed that the estimate was inappropriate.

It didn't go. I put a service date in so I could get off this survey, but I have not heard from the vendor. I shouldn;t have to work so hard to get in touch with somebody that already has my money.

They were very good. They were punctual, courteous, and professional.

Had to reschedule original appt b/c they had a number of emergency calls. I was a little disappointed because I took off work that day for the inspection. However, they were accommodating on the reschedule and arrived on time. Brad was courteous, friendly, and very informative. It was just an inspection, but I got a lot out of it. I would use them again.

Marcus arrived on schedule, was extremely professional and friendly, and did a great job of analyzing what was going on with my toilet, which had been quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) running on and off for weeks. He showed me what the problem was and explained everything thoroughly. He was able to replace a worn out flapper valve and also took a look into my other toilet to compare their age and level of wear and maintenance. He then gave me his assessment of what I might need to do in future to update my toilets and keep them working (they're quite old and have had very little attention). He also poked his head into my furnace and pointed out some things that were potentially worrisome there.
