Initially, they cancelled my first appt. which was made a week in advance.When they did come out the next week they gave me an exorbitant price quote of $674.oo to just replace the faucet,saying this was their fee for a customer supplied material. I was shocked and asked if that was in addition to my so called $277.00 worth of services that I had purchased and he said yes! I said forget about the faucet and how about looking at my laundry tub spigot which was flowing slowly.Prior to this quote ,he had gone out to his truck and wrote up the estimate, and returned with this book that had all their service charges in it and showed me the $674 charge for customer supplied material.After looking at the laundry tub he said how about $400.00. I again said no.He then said how about $300.00.I agreed to that for all 3 services, which turns out, the laundry tub spigot only had to be removed and rinsed out.So I don't think I got $277.00 worth of service for my Angie's coupon since I paid an additional $300.He did complete the work in a timely fashion and acted professionally.

Ok he came about 2 pm finished up @4:15 did an o k job. It was raining pretty hard so we give him credit for getting the job done. We would use their services again.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating & Cooling. The service was good. They were great. They came on time, were professional, didn't mess around and they took care of my business. I haven't had any problems with my sink and gave me other tips. The pricing was reasonable. It's actually the outcome that was worth it. I'm a satisfied customer.

That came out well. I thought they were quite responsive. I felt the price was pretty decent but I had nothing to compare it to.

Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating & Cooling was okay. The guy who inspected the toilet was inexperienced. He said that the enamel down there was worn away and that was causing the toilet not flushing properly. He recommended that I get a new toilet. When he left, I went down there and got the toilet cleaner brush and scrubbed real good in there. It just all went away. It was fine ever since.

There were no problems. He had a good check system to check for leaks and carbon monoxide.

It turned out very well. They came and tried to get the flush working and I had some credit left on the deal they would carry it over. They could not do the flapper because it was a generic one so that was not done. When I called them, they said next week would be good. I would refer him. The person was very friendly which was good. The pricing was good. The flush is working now. They were very responsive and proactive. They were late, said between 8 to 12 and so I took a half day off and they showed up at 12:15 or 12:30.

Overall, it was extraordinary. The initial phone contact was professional and helpful. They returned my initial phone call within 20 minutes to schedule an assessment. Given the immediacy of sewage in my back yard, they were able to assess the problem the same day. The work was scheduled the following between 8:30-9:00 AM; they were working by 9:00. The communication was excellent between Rory, Sullivan plumbing and my support system. They were available via phone and text messages. It was smooth and obvious that they work as a team. Rory made 3 trips to my house and provided two estimates to bring a back hoe down the steep hillside, clean the pipes and complete the hook up. Due to financial restraints, I was unable to utilize their services. I was able to have a team hand dig around the pipe versus building a ramp and getting a back hoe down. Rory returned to give me an estimate to hook the laterals up, however, the hook up will be completed by the company that initially did the work for the borough. Rory continued to answer all of my questions and upon hearing of this resolution, called to congratulate me. He was going on vacation for the week and stated that I could text him if I had any questions or concerns! Overall, Sullivan Plumbing did a great job. I would highly recommend their services.

It was a "Big Deal" offered on Angie's List. I was outside of their service area but they were happy to come over anyway. On time, professional, and respectful. It was an easy and quick job but I feel confidant to call them back for any pluming or H/C needs.

they were the best service reps. they however were not the best for referring us to a company called fire and water clean-up. they did a terrible job at a cost of 2700.00. which i refused to pay from my insurance estimate of 3100 dollars they tore my kitchen apart tore out half a wall, destroyed my brick backsplash from ceiling to countertop removed all but two base cabinets which i now half to tolally replace with new one for 3200 plus new counter top and new backspash sine i can no longer get brick realbrick. i have reported them to my insurance company and BBB. not sullivans fault they really didnt think this company would attempt to rip me off. there more but i end with sullivan being a great peoples company for fairness and great service.

Terrible ! Plumber was 45 minutes late however company did call to tell me that they had several emergency calls. Once plumber got there he reduced water pressure without even checking on toilet. He put a universal flapper on toliet and said then he said that gasket was leaking and provided a few options to be repaired 200-$1000 (new one). I picked the $200 option and then when he brought the parts in he said that he couldn't break the kit open and it would cost $600. I told him to forget. He asked how much I was willing to pay and I replied "Not that much!" He thanked me packed up and left. Another company came the following day and totally rebuilt the toilet for $240.

It did not go well. I called the company on a Monday to set up an appointment for that Friday morning. They called back on Thursday, less than 24 hours before they were supposed to be here, to cancel. This was unacceptable. I took the day off of work to be around for them to be here and now I am out my salary for missing Friday for work and have no one to do this work.

The existing valve is approximately 35 years old and did not work for the three years we owned the home .The plumber identified that the shutoff was not installed in the normal fashion and that removing it would require accessing a joint that was inside the wall. This would require a $300 modification to the plumbing and also require the inside of the wall to be redrywalled and painted. We chose not to have the work done.

The service was good and the price was higher because of what we needed. The next day I noticed something was not working and I called him and he came around immediately and showed me what was wrong, it was my fault. He was excellent.

Sullivan Super Service was a pleasure to work with, from the moment I scheduled my appointment over the phone. The staff was very helpful, and Brad Sullivan (obviously, one of the family) was actually the service technician who came to my home. Brad was very patient and knowledgable, and I asked many questions throughout the process to try to learn more about my system. Brad gave me options for addressing different issues with my system, and was very practical - not at all pushy for me to buy something I didn't need to fix small issues which could be fixed more cost-effectively. I felt that I could trust him, and that is very important when working on a potentially big-ticket item. He certainly could have taken advantage of the fact that I paid only $79 for the $255 worth of service through the Angie's List "Big Deal" by finding ways to escalate my final cost, but I was able to have everything running well with only a relatively minor additional expense for a critical part that needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend Sullivan Super Service to my friends and neighbors in Pittsburgh, and I believe that they are a responsible and trustworthy family company that I was fortunate to encounter through Angie's List.

The service person who looked at our furnace behaved in a very professional manner and described repairs he felt were essential. We considered the price he quoted as too high to proceed with his company.

The company was prompt in making an early appointment for us. The technician was polite and accommodating. At our request, he returned to make an adjustment to one of the repairs to our satisfaction. It seems that that the last two Angie's List deals we purchased ended up costing us much more than we had anticipated. In each case, we are told that we are getting better priceson the repairs through Angie's List Deals. We assume he deducts the original price of the Deal. Since we are unable to shop around for quotes when we purchase your Deals, we are bound to having the repairs made while the technician is here. We have purchased your Deals in the past where the work was done with no added cost: a garage door tune-up and carpet cleaning. Those two were the reason we keep coming back to you, but these last two expenses are making my husband reluctant to purchase more.

It was an excellent experience. Gary touched base with me as needed to let me know what he'd done, or was going to do and after he was done he left the bathroom in excellent shape

Purchased Big Deal for outside house faucet replacement. They performed that task without incident or upsell. I asked them to look at some areas of concern, as I recently purchased an 80 year old home. They looked at each issue and advised me on a reasonable plan for completion, including completing one project that was of high risk. They made me feel if I was their only customer, and I was extremely pleased with their appearance, attitude and wirk completed.
