Purchased Big Deal of $77 for $260 of service with plans of having tech fix kitchen sink leakage, install kitchen sink sprayer, fix powder room toilet from running, and replace as many water shut-off valves within allotted amount. What a joke! Tech evaluated needs. Tried to sell my wife a whole new whole kitchen faucet (no doubt at a HUGE markup). Recommended powder room flushing unit be replaced, cold water line under kitchen sink be replaced, and flapper of upstairs toilet be replaced. When my wife called with estimate price, I was floored. Just replacing the flapper on the upstairs toilet (which we didn't have done) was over $130? Tech said he replaced the cold water line under kitchen sink to stop leak (and stated so on work order). When I arrived home and looked under the sink, it was still leaking and original water line was still there. I immediately called Sullivan to send back out a tech to fix the leak and they said they couldn't get that technician back out until the next day. Next day came and almost went and Sullivan called and said he couldn't make it and would try for the next day since he lived close by. Got called by Sullivan the next day informing me that tech would not be able to come out until Friday morning (original work was performed on Monday). Technician arrived first thing Friday morning and discovered that the kitchen sink leak was from the cold water fixture. Didn't have part, had to run to supply store to get one. Did replace hot water fixture at the same time for no additional charge. Powder room toliet flushing unit was replaced and fix did stop it from running. Kitchen sprayer working fine now. Work performed was adequate (a little decieving maybe), but by no means exceptional. A 4 day wait to get work rectified is unexceptable. Thankfully the kitchen leak was only a minimal drip Looking back now, Big Deal was not that much of a deal since the allotted $260 was burned up instantly with minimal work performed. So in addition to the $77 for the deal, I ended up paying nearly $500 extra.

The work went very well. They completed the job in a timely and efficient manner. They also found the source of a sewer smell in my bathroom.

The appointment went very well. The did a comprehensive plumbing check-up with details and suggested repairs and upgrades.

This worked out great. They came out and took care of everything. He was very nice and professional and met all my expectations. Scheduling and their responsiveness were great. I don’t think it took long at all to schedule. They showed up on time.

The service was excellent. The plumber explained the process before performing the work. He also gave me options and prices for upgrades. I selected an upgraded faucet that was't part of the initial package but the price was reasonable. The plumber/technician was very knowledgeable and I would use this provider again and recommend this provider.

In all the years I’ve had my furnace inspected, no one was as thorough, knowledgable, and detailed-oriented as Sullivan. They were all professional and took any challenges of the work in stride. The price was a little high and the A/C was louder than expected, but their professionalism was my deciding factor. I would definitely recommend them.

Service person was very professional and even put on booties before coming into my home. All went well - he replaced the washers and a few other parts inside the faucet and shower knobs. Faucet no longer leaks. He also replaced my leaking shower head. Would definitely use again.

Sullivan Super Service provided a sewer televising explaining what we were looking at and providing recommendations of how to keep the sewer clear. I am planning to have a new concrete driveway put in and wanted to make sure that the sewer was in good shape before having the other work performed. As it turns out the sewer is in very good shape and did not require any further action. It provided me peace of mind.

Showed up promptly. Lifted toilet to get toclog. Friendly service. However, the price was higher than expected. . Had purchased a deal on Angies list and it was still $350 above that...

Only complaint is the price...used a big deal: $85 for $250 worth of work. It still went about $30 over that amount. We also had an estimate done for installing a dryer vent, which ended up being over $500 more than other quotes we had received. Everything else went great, plumber was very polite and professional and got the work done quick.

He spent a lot of time giving me estimates on additional services and tried to get me to pay $700 to lift the toilet out so he could properly clean the drain. I asked him to do it without lifting the toilet and it worked. I didn't appreciate the salesy approach.

Sullivan's Plumbing arrived exactly at the stipulated time. They were thorough, professional, and fixed the slow toilet. The sewer line inspection showed no immediate problems, but they made some recommendations to keep the sewer line healthy. I really appreciated that, as the recommendations were low-cost and something that I could do on my own without having to call them back.

I bought the Angie's List Deal for $77 for $260 worth of plumbing work. I believed a simple faucet installation with no additional services would not cost more than the price of the "deal" adding my $77 dollars I already paid. I had to work, so my sister was here during the installation. I got a call from the plumber at work telling me my water pressure was extremely high and I should have a second regulator and my water heater was leaking and needed something as well due to the water pressure. He said it would cost $1400.00. I told him just install the faucet. I later found out that day he charged an additional $99.00!! FOR WHAT! I asked my sister if he knew I ad purchased the Angie's List Deal, she said yes. All I can say is RIPP OFF!!!

Sullivan Super Service is just that - super. From Glenn that came out TWICE, while we were collecting bids and then to the guys, Joe and JP, that did the install. Everybody from there always calls, they let you know when they are arriving and keep you informed and go over every detail with you. My house had many "interesting" problems, some (a lot) created by the previous homeowner. The old AC had been unhooked and left to sit when we put in a new furnace 5 years ago. On the day of the install Joe and JP were greeted by a swarm of yellow jackets that would be worthy of a SCI-FI channel B-movie. After several stings and several cans of insecticide, which they called for and had brought to the site (my environmentally friendly bug spray just made the stinging yellow devils minty fresh smelling - I know better but the smiling kid with the puppy on the can suckered me in) Joe and JP ended up putting in an extremely long day at my house. I had to go to work and my wife, 3 and 1/2 year old son and 8 month old daughter stayed at the house. I'm a cop and I don't trust anybody, but the guys from Sullivan are so professional and just good all around guys that I now have some new friends. Since they had to fight flying h*** bugs for a good portion of the day, even getting up on my roof and doing the chimney liner while being harassed by yellow jackets, they had to come back on the following Tuesday to finish. They came back at the set time and jumped right back into work. They even had to build a part of my duct work while working in a cramped small space. Joe is a wizard at duct work and fabricated the correct connection elbow thingy (I did say I was a cop not a HVAC guy) out of sheet metal. I can't say enough about this place. They beat the crap out of the other bids, did great work, and are just good people. I always ask people if they like the place where they work, it's a cop interview trick. You get to see a little bit of the person instead of the worker from a company. Everyone from here said the same thing even though I asked them separately. They really like it and enjoy working here. Several said that this is the best place they've ever worked. They talked about their boss, that he's a good leader and doesn't take kindly to loafers or goofballs, and that he takes good care of his people. They have employee meetings where everybody attends and they talk about the company and things like that. Sullivan also has them attending schools to further their knowledge and skills. That says a lot, a place that's investing in it's workers is a place that cares about who they send to your house. That person they are sending is a reflection on them, and Sullivan obviously gets that. I've already recommended these guys to everybody I know. Give them a call and you won't be disappointed.

We tried them because of a deal we purchased on Angie's List. We are new to home ownership and had never hired a plumber before. We try to do most things ourselves, but for some leaks that we couldn't fix we brought them in. All in all, the work they did was very well done. It has been a few months and we've had no problems with their repairs. With the Groupon we had purchased, it was a decent deal. Of course, I suppose hiring any plumber is going to cost an arm and a leg. My biggest complaint was that because they came to do the work while my spouse was home and I was at work, my spouse and I wanted to confer on the cost before having them do certain jobs and we wanted to know what we might have them do, based on their prices. While they accommodated us, I could tell that my spouse felt very pressed for time and anxious trying to relay the information to me to make a quick decision because they were "on the clock" for every minute we spent discussing what to have them do and what not to do. In total, discussing the jobs between them and us probably took a maximum of 15-20 minutes. They also said it was difficult to give us estimates because the more work they did, the better the deal it would be. We didn't like feeling pressured for time while needing to make decisions that can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. In the end, we're very happy with the work they did. I might go with them again or might seek out someone cheaper.

It went well. The estimate for the followup work was very expensive but at least it wasn't mandatory work.

It wasn't a big job, but it went well for what it was. I did lower the rating for "responsiveness" as they did not contact me within the promised time frame. They tried to upsell me on a $500 pressure regulator, which I may or may not actually need, but I didn't want to make a decision on the spot; but I suppose that's just the nature of the business. All in all I'd use them again. They price by the job instead of by the hour, which is nice, too.

The worker was nice, punctual and efficient. When he went to the basement to shut the water off he determined that the water valve in the basement needed to be replaced, which he did for free.

They were prompt and clean. I got the $89 special deal and that was what they charged.

So the toilet started leaking after a few days and I told them to come back. He said the toilet would cost $299 for the flapper and other part that mounts by the handle incl. labor. I told him I thought only the 'flap stopper' was bad and he said that would cost $125 for that only. So I thought that was high and I said no, so we found a handyman, found both parts at Home Depot for $30. and he installed it in 40 minutes @ ($15/ hour) .

I had the company come out to fix a toilet. It was a bad experience. I had to call him back and purchase another deal. I had to pay twice to fix one toilet. When I asked him about the repair, he gave me a $500 estimate. It is fixed now but it was an ordeal.

Technician used the sewer camera to determine condition of main sewer drain to determine if any defects existed. The technician was able to pinpoint areas of root invastion of main sewer line

Went well. Plan to use them for recommended repairs.
