They responded very quickly (within 15 minutes of my call) while other plumbers took more than two days to respond. They carefully explained everything, and showed evidence for, everything they were doing. They repeatedly checked their work and discussed the current plumbing situation in the house, but they were also careful not to recommend services that, given my budget and situation, would not be advisable. They were very thorough and their pricing was fair, even though it was an after-hours call. Also, they were pleasant, yet professional.

They came the same day I called, were prompt and thorough. Would use them again.

I have an old house with several exterior drains that the gutters/downspouts feed into that have been clogged since I bought the place 5 years ago. I contacted them as the plumbing company that I use increased their hourly rates, and I was looking for an alternative. They came on time, and were pleasant. Unfortunately, the pipes were apparently clogged for a very long time, and had rusted inside. They were unable to clear ANY of the 7 drains, yet I was still charged almost $600 dollars for what was just under 2 hours of their time (I was at the property the entire time). In addition, they said that they would email me an estimate for installing all new drainage pipes, and if I hired them to do that, they would subtract the $592.00 that they charged me. I never received that estimate. When I called them to schedule the appointment initially, the girl on the phone was disappointed to find out that I heard about them through AngiesList. Now I think that I know why. They do not charge by the hour, but instead, by them job. $600 for a job that was not successful after 2 hours is extrememly pricey to me, and the lack of follow up was unprofessional. I will never use them again.

It was excellent. They were very thorough, professional, and arrived on time. I enjoyed working with them and will hire them for a future job.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was one of the worst service that I have received in my life. There were 2 services that they gave. The drain cleaning was good. They then went to check the furnace, and it was the coldest day of the year, and they had turned it off to check it. They waited till the house got really cold, then they came up looking panicked and said that there was a leak in my furnace. They said it had to be replaced. I called my neighbor who is a handy guy, and he told me to call the furnace guy that he uses, and the guy was like don't believe it, it was a hoax. The guy worked me through how to turn my furnace on, and it was 10 or below that day, and I have kids. It was just a mess. They were trying to sell me a furnace. Then I called every furnace place that has the same furnace that I do, and half of them had never heard of this test. Finally, I looked up the test online, and it turned out that it is not supposed to be used on a furnace like mine at all. I had 3 other companies that came and look at my furnace and tell me that it was fine. One of the companies did the same kind of a test, and they did it for free. I paid for one to come out, and 2 of them did it for free. It was a disaster. They broke a piece, and they charged me for it.I had bought 2 big deals, and they came for both at the same time. I paid for something that caused me weeks of worry, it was a horrible experience. They kept calling me and saying that they are working on it. I thought they were trying to swindle me, and I would not use them again in the future. They tried to apologize, and offered a refund if they could come back to check it, but we didn't want them near our house. I don't know if they ever sent a refund or not, and we had talked about reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They called me multiple times, and I was clear about not being happy.

Unclog sewer took a long time but sewer still unclogged. They took the time to clean up after the job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. I asked for an itemized bill because I did not think the technician performed all of the services covered in the Big Deal. The technician did not give me an itemized bill and said he charged a flat rate to do the job. His main focus was the motor blower and he told me it was going to cost about $800 to replace it. I have been in touch with the company on three different occasions letting them know that it is not fair to the consumer to not get an itemized bill. No one has gotten in contact with me about this. I missed a whole day of work waiting on the service man to come for the appointment. He was supposed to come between the hours and noon and 2 p.m.but he did not come until 5 p.m. I checked with another company that told me the part he wanted to replace was only $200. The service rep was personable.

Joe was very kind, helpful,courteous and thorough. Couldn't have gone better.

I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance. They said they would show up between 11AM-2PM. I never received a call at any point and called them around 4PM. They said they still are no where close to being to my house. Two plumbers finally arrived around 5:30PM (on a Friday). I had three jobs I needed completed. I asked for quotes on each job. He was a very young kid and just threw numbers at me hoping I would say yes. He wanted $500 to cut one water line and install a water softener. He wanted $500 to cut two pipes and hook up a laundry tub. He also said it would cost me $500 to reseat my toilet. I was shocked at how much he was "guesstimating." Since I already bought the Angie's Coupon I said what will you do for the coupon. He said reseat the toilet. This took him all of 10 minutes to do. I went out and bought about $100 worth of plumbing supplies and did the laundry tub and water softener myself. What a joke this company is, high estimations on price/labor and nearly 7 hours late. Do not use this company! I did find it amusing when I asked why the prices were so high and he said "We have to pay for our brand new fancy trucks we use and other things." Do not recommend this company at all.

My sewer line was the original clay pipes which were cracked and clogged. They replaced that line and the lines in the laundry room. One of the pipes in the half bath in the basement had a leak and that was also replaced. They had to dig up part of the driveway, garage and laundry room to replace pipes. They were prompt and cleaned up behind themselves. Due to my previous plans they are coming back on Wednesday, Nov. 6th to re-install the toilet and sink in that bathroom. I am pleased with. Sullivan's. Just yesterday I had to call them for a heating issue and they came that afternoon. I have recommended them to others already.

Very punctual and professional. They explained everything to me and informed me that if I wanted the replacement to be the same, I would need to pay $100 more for the no-freeze option. They were very courteous, but I was disappointed with the upcharge considering the big deal was for an outdoor spigot. Of course, it may have been my ignorance that led to my disappointment. However, I would definitely use them again because the service was great.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon and there was no additional cost and I thought it was fair priced. He didn’t do everything and I thought it was okay. He did try selling me some package and gave a crazy quote. He didn’t have all the tools and he used mine tool which is a long plastic thing where I get the hair out of the drain. I thought it was a little bit odd that he didn’t have all the right tools. He was a really, really nice guy. I like the technician a lot. He cleaned my drain and gave a quote to fix it so that it doesn’t clog anymore as it is a weird drain because it is old fashioned. He gave me a quote for a drain pan and pipe but it was a lot. They even called me later to buy their service contract were I need to pay a fee and I am covered and then if I need a service it is 30% off or I get free weekends which I understand because it is their business but they were aggressive. They showed up on time and were really nice. The guy in the office was real nice but he didn’t do complete service. The price they quoted was a little bit high but the price for drain cleaning was great. Even though he used my cheap tool he did better than I did as I wasn’t able to unclog it. They were out of our service range but they came and probably they don’t like to drive that far.

My experience with them was excellent. They were professional and on time. They were very courteous. They did a good job as far as the quality of the work. Their price was good and it was a big deal purchase. I didn’t pay them anything additional apart from the big deal amount.

He was very snippy. He looked at my sink, and just tightened it up. It didn’t take him more than 3 minutes and he charged me $100.00.

I bought their Big Deal. The deal was for two hours of two A/C tune ups and a free one year service agreement. It went fine; they did what they were going to do and it all worked out well. I would to use them again, based on my last quote experience after this job. It turned out that that the quote was insanely overpriced. It meted out to almost $200 per hour for them to do the work and so the blow was going to be over $1,200. I hired a different plumber and he did it for $400.

Nothing was done. If they don't work in this area, they should have contacted me and told me that.

He came out and told me what I needed to repair and gave me an estimate. I am not going to use them for the repairs though.

Terribly. Do not use this company; the schedulers are truly incompetent and the service I received was borderline bizarre. It is unclear to me how this business is in operation. Anyway, I scheduled an inspection a week and a half in advance. On the day before my appointment was scheduled, they called to tell me that my appointment was canceled because of the influx of "emergency calls" they had received and would not be able to reschedule until a couple of weeks. I made it clear to them that my inspection was, too, important, and that that lead time was unacceptable. Then, they called me back shortly after on the same day to re-confirm my appointment for next day. I thought the problem was resolved. However, on the day of the appointment (DURING the window that I was told to wait for the inspection), they called to tell me that the appointment was canceled. The caller had NO IDEA that I had received a call the day before that the appointment was back on. This level of service is unacceptable and insulting. Take your business to a provider who treats its customers with respect.

I felt that this was high and began calling around. Thank God I did. I found Jim Barner or Varner of Finleyville (724.348.5160) who was a bit busy and referred me to Dave of Crown Plumbing (412.670.4813). Dave came and replaced the pipe--no estimate needed. He cut out the wall and removed a cabinet in the kitchen to get to the stack and replaced the stack midway to basement to top of first floor. This took him 1.5 hours. He was efficient and pleasant and the total bill was 328.00 for everything. Sullivan should be ashamed of yourselves. You see a woman business owner and attempt to take advantage. To me, an estimate of 3285 when someone could do it for 328 is down right criminal! I will tell everyone I know and will recommend Dave and Jim any chance I can.

We have a contract with them for $19.00 and that gets us a no-charge check-up for your A/C and heating and they will do any other work you need done when they come to do those inspections. They are always polite, professional, and accommodating.

. This work was supposed to be covered by an A.L. coupon which entitled me to over $200.00 of service. He charged me $74.00 for Bio-One and I did not realize what I was paying for...thought I was simply paying extra for his work. I do not appreciate being up sold when I am trying to fix simple things in my home.

He got the outside faucet replaced quickly and was helpful when I asked about pricing for a new faucet inside. He then did an inspection of my home plumbing, noted that I needed to have a number of things done and quoted an extremely high price for the work. I was happy with the work that he did, but I would not contact them back based on this estimate.

They were very professional. I would take advantage of the coupon pricing, as they're very reasonable. They are a straight A company, without a doubt.
