Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating & Cooling

While they were in the downstairs bathroom, I pointed out how the floor around the toilet was warped and did the toilet need a new seal. They said there was probably a leak and called they're "friend" at Cleanup Restoration to come in and evaluate the possibility of mold under the floor boards. Sure enough there was, and the entire bathroom floor needed to be removed and treated. I then had to find a flooring company. And then I had to coordinate the entire project with my insurance company, the flooring company, and cleanup restoration. By the end of August the project was done. A lot of work, for a project that could have waited because it wasn't that serious. The mold was minimal, and could have been resolved by removing the floor. I was planning on doing that anyway when I had saved up the money. However, I have a beautiful floor by Family Floors (review of that company seen on their Angie's List site). There is one more thing that has bothered me a great deal, but I wasn't aware of it until several weeks after the fact. My sons missing $2 confederate bill that was given to him by his uncle upon graduating from college. You see, it was in the bedroom where the two men from Sullivan's worked. I have no proof that they took it, I just know it's been missing since May when they did the work.

It ended up fine. There was nothing I disliked about them.

Whether or not they did anything that was legit with the water heater is unknown but the plumbing they inspected was good. They wrote on the final receipt that there was a small carbon monoxide leak from the flue pipe. When they arrived, I was away from the house being serviced. The man's name was Brandon and even though he wrote "small" carbon monoxide leak, he said it would cost 500 to repair. The house that was serviced is in a wealthy area and he saw that one of their labels was already there from before. He turned the gas off, put a flag on the furnace and said that it was dangerous to turn on then instructed me to turn the water on to keep the pipes from freezing. When I returned from out of state, I was referred to another service provider. They came in on a Saturday and said I had a carbon monoxide leak but didn't understand why Sullivan put up a flag because the leak was so tiny. Even though Sullivan wrote "small" carbon monoxide leak on the receipt, the second company said that the leak was so small it wouldn't effect anyone. They were only here for about 45 minutes, but the cost was $226.40 including the repair and it was only that much because it was out of their regular work hours. When Sullivan told me the leak was a big deal and turned the gas off/ flagged the furnace, it was not true. My conclusion is that they had taken advantage of people before. Regretfully, the homeowner was a senior and was taken advantage of previously when they charged her well over $1,000 for a toilet.

It was fine. I hired them to do my heating service for a biannual basis from here on out. He was professional. He followed up phone calls and made sure I was happy. The service rep who was out here to provide the service called back just to make sure everything was okay, which was impressive.

They came mid afternoon and Jess was a great worker. He set up his machine and fed 40 feet (I'm guessing) to clear sewer line... The sewer line is all cleared and I couldn't be happier. The work site was cleaned up and Jess left.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were quick and effective. They actually came out twice. It was sort of an emergency. I didn't pay any additional. I wouldn't use them again unless I had a coupon.

Everything turned out great. They were fantastic and I highly recommend them to others.

The service was great. I liked them. They came in when they were supposed to. Everything was good. The people who did the work were fine and good. They did what they were supposed to do. They didn't tell me that I needed some unnecessary work done, which a lot of companies would do. They were honest.

Representative was thorough and handled the job well. This was his last call of the day 7:00 pm and it was freezing cold outside and he completed the job without any issues.

Video guy and smaller snake were not available on the original visit. Both were taken care of on separate subsequent visits. We were given suggestions of hydrojetting or pipe replacement for additional service. Quotes/estimates were to be provided, but they have not yet been received.

I thought the job went well. He told me he couldn't complete the job becasue he needed additional parts or replace the faucet..-- that means more money for me to pay out. He stopped the leak but the water comes out of the faucet sideways. I didn't want to spend any more money on this particular job. Just needed the leak to stop. I spent $39 on Angies List and $99 directly to them. Also, I ended up signing up for a service contract which means they will be taking $9.95 a month out of my checking account. I did this because he told me that I would get a discount on that job if I did. I'll see how that goes!!! I would use them again and hopefully will feel like I'm getting a good deal.

They inspected the furnace and recommended a whole new replacement system. I opted not to go with that and the furnace was fixed under my home warranty. They found it was just one piece that needed replacement. The technician was very nice and courteous.

I love their responsiveness, appointment schedule was easy. someone showed up right away, they're very professional and wear the boots and everything to the house. During the call to set the appointment, I had told the booker on the phone that I don't really need my master drain cleaned but I have another drain up stairs that I liked them to do instead. When someone came out and I told him that, he turned around and charged me to do the bathroom drain.

I purchased their $79 deal and was very pleased. They arrived on time, cleared the drain and explained that in the future there may be a need to clear the line to the street. They did not use high pressure tactics. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them.

He always does a great job, very knowledgable and so nice.

My furnace was operating normal and safely.

It went very well. They were very professional. I also contracted with them for the monthly service.

It was done professionally, and the young man was on the ball, and courteous. The date of the service is approximate, in the fall, sometime.

Checked my furnace, did some cleaning. I have used Sullivans in the past and have referred many customers to them, the only issue with this last visit was that they completed system clean-up and mentioned that there might be a couple of slight gas leaks but did absolutely no follow up and there has been no sign of leakage since.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was pretty good. I didn't need the total service, only the viewing of my sewer line so they didn't do anything about the toilet plumbing. I was mainly interested in the picture so that is mainly all they did. I wasn't having any plumbing problem. I really needed to check the sewer line before I got my driveway done. They definitely came at their scheduled time. They were pretty knowledgeable and very conversable. I would absolutely use them again.

I purchased this deal to get an outside faucet repaired. After waiting several days (they had never contacted me), I called and scheduled. Due to a family emergency, I called and had to cancel. To this day, no one from Sullivan has ever contacted me.

The technician was very, very helpful. He advised that my water heater would be needing replacement, which was true. They were good and I would use them again.

They came 3 times, once to remover a toilet and vanity. This allowed a ceramic tile job to be installed. Then returned to reinstall. Very professional. A short time later they returned becaust the toilet began to run. The flapper (?) dried out or something. They replaced the flapper with out a charge to me. Always professional, especially with this follow up. The follow up was not their fault, but they took extra care of me, the customer. I appreciated it.

They were very good and it all went fine. They were very prompt and professional. They did a good job. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They did a very nice job. He was polite. He worked quickly and neatly. He wanted to do something else but I declined. I didn't compare the price, it seemed adequate.
