It went very well. They used foot covers upstairs for the kitchen and the living room carpets. They cleaned up after they worked.

Expensive, but very well. They were extremely knowledgeable. They did a very good job. It was well worth it. It wasn't a cheap call, but in the long run it was worth it, because the next step was replacing everything.

It worked out wonderful! They were on time, courteous, and very efficient at what they did. I would use them again.

I have said this before THE FRONT OFFICE IS THE HEART OF A SMALL BUSINESS. The front office is SOOOO very important to the operation of any business. This one failed. I asked to be called. I was not. OK, I was only an Angie's List customer. Cheap on the side, BUT we can get our foot in the door, customer. I had to call after 2 weeks. "Well we can give you a service date in 2 months. Do you want it or not?" I said yes, wanted the thing looked at. I had to turn the furnace on, still waiting. Finely received a phone call at 5:00 pm the day of the promised service. So their phones do work. The service man is on his way. Do you still want the check up? Good question. He showed a little passed 6:00. Done and out by 6:30. The receipt says "basic", that just about that covers it. I have had more comprehensive checks, but this will do. Just. The whole time he was there he kept trying to sell me on maintenance programs. NOT A CHANCE IN WHAT EVER AFTER LIFE YOU BELIEVE IN!!! I have two plumbing companies that I like and I will use them. Goodbye Sullivan. Don't call me, not that you would. One question, a relative manning the front desk?

Showed up on time and efficiently performed faucet replacement. No leaks or other issues 3 months later.

I am completely dissatisfied with Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Our furnace was not working, and I wasn't sure why but I thought it might have something to do with our thermostat because the furnace stopped working when we changed the batteries on our thermostat. I bought a deal for a $55 furnace inspection. A technician came and inspected our furnace. He said that we needed a thermostat replacement. I already had a new thermostat that we had never used. The technician told me that it would cost $199 to replace the thermostat if we supplied the thermostat. I thought that that sounded like a lot, but I didn't know how long it would take and I knew that the temperature was supposed to drop that night, so I agreed to it. It took the technician about 15 minutes to replace the thermostat. I was shocked and very upset. Charging $196 for a simple, 15 minute repair is like charging $796 an hour. Also, the job did not look all that complicated to do. In fact, if I could turn back time, I would have declined the service and replaced the thermostat myself after learning how to do it from a youtube video. He also suggested to me other repairs that would cost $900. My dad, who is not a handyman, came over a few days later and made the necessary repairs in about three hours. Two days after the thermostat was replacement, I called Sullivan to complain and they said that they charge by the job and not by the hour. However, I do not understand why the job rate for a thermostat replacement would be $199. Also, she said that a manager would call me, and he/she never has. I will never do business again with Sullivan Super Service. I feel completely ripped off.

Purchased the big deal for a/c inspection and cleaning. Not overly impressed by the work that was done. I had to ask for and insist on the tech performing many of the items that were specifically listed in the big deal. The unit wasn't cooling properly and the tech spent hours trying to find the problem which a subsequent hvac company diagnosed in about 5 minutes. The general inspection was very superficial. The condenser coils were quite dirty and the tech suggested we might need to recheck after it was cleaned since he couldn't find the problem. Sounded good since he was supposed to clean it anyway, but then he tried to give me a price for the cleaning claiming it wasn't included. I showed him the big deal description which also says cleaning in the title. Even then he said he would throw it in as a courtesy. Had to ask to have the drain line flushed and indoor coils cleaned, again items specifically mentioned in the deal. Ultimately the compressor was bad and the price quoted for that was about $2000 MORE than I paid for the unit and installation new. He also claimed to have found refrigerant leaks and thought the capacitor should be replaced and gave what I thought were very pricey quotes for that. The quotes offered were all flat rate which is ok, but wouldn't explain them further for example parts vs labor. Being so pricey, I got a second opinion on the repairs and another company could not find any leaks nor anything wrong with the capacitor and figured out the compressor needed replaced in about 5 minutes. They charged MUCH less for the repair that was needed. Most of the tech's energy was spent trying to sell me unneeded repairs, service plans, etc and seemed much less skilled at the tech work. I do not recommend as they are way overpriced and try to sell unnecessary repairs. Several years ago I had a similar experience with this company for plumbing repairs where they quoted me $1000's more than the other companies I got quotes from and tried to include unneeded items.

It was good. They said the camera could not go far enough and I might need something else. They said they would get back to me and I have not heard from them. Each visit was about one hour. The first guy said everything was okay and the second guy said that he bumped into something and I felt that should have been communicated between them better. They said they would follow up with some options for me and have not gotten back to me.

We bought a house that already had a furnace installed and later found out that the furnace had no fresh air intake. Which basically means the furnace was circulating the air from our basement into our living spaces. We felt this wasn't best for indoor air quality and requested a quote from Sullivan. The installer gave me a quote of $1,000 to perform that service. He told me that if that's the only thing I was going to get done, it was going to cost me more! I had already gotten a quote from another company earlier that same day for a little over $300. That's a huge difference! If I hadn't shopped around, these people would have ripped me off. I wonder how many other people they do that to.

Tech performed test with sewer snake and explained findings related to colapse of a section of line. Requested second tech be scheduled to better determine location of issue. Second tech visited, informed of location of issue and stated an estimate would be emailed. Never received email. Used another service.

I purchased a big deal for this service. It was pretty good. They came in, got the job done. It was pretty quick. I was pretty happy. They said they usually don't do the deal with a rental, they actually ended up doing it anyway. I was pretty happy. They usuallycharge more, but they didn't. They were efficient. They went in, they got done. They do an efficient job.

I was very pleased with the service and would have them again

They went above and beyond the service I hired them for.

I had issues with scheduling with this provider. They ended up canceling my appointment times twice, saying they ran into unexpected problems doing furnace checks both times. I ended up going with a different provider, as it is getting cold and I wanted to get the work done as soon as possible. I have used this company numerous times and they were very apologetic when they had to cancel. Unfortunately, I just couldn't wait any longer.

The company could not perform the work when I was available so I did not end up using the big deal.

They came out and serviced my A/C. They have always done a good job. They are always courteous about putting booties slip covers over their shoes not to mess the carpet up.

That was an excellent deal. I would highly recommend that company. They did a great job and the services they offered for $49 was well worth it. They told me about a problem that may arise in the future, so that's good to know about. They were very good.

I contacted vender regarding my booster fan making a lot of noise. This is a little fan placed in duct work to push air over to other side of house. Without even looking at it I was given an estimate of $600 which I declined. He offered to disconnect it for me which he did. He indicated I would save the day's fee of $50 if I purchase their maintenance plan. I did so and he immediately did an inspection of my furnace. After 45 minutes or so he indicated 2 issues: 1. he broke my air conditioner, 2 I needed a new furnace because there were cracks in my heat exchange and he turned the furnace off and indicated he had to 'red tag it' which he indicated I could no longer use it due to concerns of carbon monoxide leak. He did not perform any tests. Since it was going to be zero degrees the next day I panicked and agreed to have them install a new furnace the next day. I have a cape cod style house, two bedrooms on the second floor, the furnace totaled more than $4,000. I told installers I wanted to check out the heat exchange once it was removed, although hesitant they brought it back out of the truck for me to inspect. I didn't see any cracks. I contacted the manager who had the service man who inspected it call me but was no help. Then his manager came to the house that evening to inspect the heat exchange (at this point it was too late to put it back in). He didn't contact me when he first came into the house, then after he inspected it he tried to show me where there were cracks but I did not agree. I feel I was very mislead so wanted to share my experience with others as I am extremely disappointed with this vendor. Also, I ordered a replacement booster fan online for $35 and replaced it my self - it only took 2 screws...remember their estimate was $600 which I informed the management of as well but he could not explain the price. If you use this vendor, just plan to open up your pocket book!

We purchased a Big Deal to have our air conditioning serviced. These guys were great to work with - very professional and prompt. They did an evaluation for us of any additional work that we may need done as well.

Technician refused to perform the service (clean drain pipe in the bath) saying it is too complicated and will cost much more.

I purchased this service through deal of the day. Sullivan was very good from start to finish. The appointment was set with no big issues. The day of the service call, I received a phone call that the tech. would arrive in 30 minutes. He arrived promptly, we talked a little before he started the job. Bob was a real nice professional guy. While he was there, he gave me an estimate on another job I might get done. He was very nice, and I felt totally comfortable with him in my house. After he finished the job, he gave me info on their maintenance package that they have. This company also collects food for a local food bank. If I donated 5 items I would receive a discount on future services. He took the food with him which was nice. Couldn't be more satisfied. Will use again in the future.

In previous experiences we have had great experiences, however this was not. The technician informed my mother that her a/c was leaking. He said he needed to drain it and refill it with a quote of $1000. She got a second opinion that company said all was okay.

No problems, easy job for the pro did the job, excellent service, amazing price for the Angie special deal.

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs. He did a good job. It was a good experience.

my rental unit backed up and I needed a camera with the unblockage. they were offering a special to angies list members for $89 with camera work. when I inquired about purchasing it. they said they don't service rental homes. I didn't see anything like that written oin the site. I moved on.so if you have a rental in the area, do not use these people.
