There was a drain in my basement that was dry. The gentleman that came out said that he had never seen that before, so he thought it was not in use. He came back with a camera, explained the issue, and gave me my options. They were professional and I would use them again.

Since he came out to clean the drain, he also offered to replace the sink pop-up mechanism for $400. I assumed based on the price, and the fact that the pop-up mechanisms themselves cost less than $100, that it would take a bit of time to do. In fact, it only ended up taking 5 minutes, so I was surprised that this would cost $400. That being said, the plumber (Brandon) was otherwise professional, friendly and showed up on time etc.

**** revised review 2/26/15 ****** My original review, which resulted in a F rating (excepting for responsiveness and punctuality, where I gave them an A rating) appears below; since then Bob from the company visited me (2/25/15) and saw the defective installation; he apologized several times and took full responsibility; he made measurements and came up with a fix that they will install on 3/5/15; basically they will replace - at no charge - the outlet HVC ducting from the furnace to the house input duct with a T connector. The connector will be flexible near the furnace end, so the furnace operation does not create vibrations, which is probably the reason why the connection to the house duct opened up after 5 years (see below for comment on vibration problem). The reason I gave them an overall C rating is because this should never have happened in the first place; few senior citizens would be able to inspect near inaccessible areas of the ducting to find the source of the problem; also they have not offered to compensate me for the money I have been wasting over the past 5 years on my heating bills; Since they accepted responsibility I have changed my view on using them in the future; yes, I do intend to used them in the future; **** original review posted approx. 2/21/15 ************ The installation appeared to go fine, and I felt good about it; their price was near the high end, almost twice some of the other quotes, but the product appeared to be good, and I had used them in the past for minor plumbing issues, to which they were quite responsive. The real problem appeared five years after installation. Please read on: Over the years, while the furnace appeared to be working fine, we kept getting notices during the winter months from our utility company that we were using more power than comparable neighbors. This was in spite of the fact that we lowered the temperature to 72 when the house was occupied and to 58 when it was not occupied, or we were sleeping. This past week, during the cold spell, the furnace could barely maintain 72 degrees even though it was on continuously. While we got some flow to the first floor vents, there was very little flow at the second floor vents. Yesterday, 2/20/15, I found on inspection of the furnace that there was a visible gap (about 2?) between the furnace forced air heat outflow duct and the main house HVAC duct. I could literally feel the hot air escaping from this gap into the basement. In other words the forced-air from the furnace was escaping into the basement, even before it had a chance to heat the house. This appears to explain the problems we are experiencing with using too much power and inability to maintain a modest temperature in the winter with a high efficiency furnace, and the low flow level at the second floor vents. Comment on vibration problem Prior to this, about 3 months ago, I felt hot air leaking out at the ductwork connection near the furnace. I used HVAC (metallic) tape to try to stop these leaks. I did not see the big leak at that time. Also I had to use a "wedge" mechanism to prevent the vibration from the furnace from affecting the humidifier (the humidifier was literally being shaken loose). I have picture and receipts to support all these statements.

The service went okay. One technician came out for the job. He was very informative and happy to answer any questions. He was a good guy to work with and scheduling the deal was easy.

My experience was fine. They were responsive. There was one person here doing the work. I felt the price was good for the service.

The service went well. I had them cap off an old set of pipes, inspect a sewer smell and do the video inspection. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves. One technician came out and completed the job in about a few hours. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

They were prompt and courteous. They did what they said they would do. They found a huge problem and gave me and estimate for the particular work that had to be done. The estimated price was way over my budget, so I did not hire them to do the other work. They did work very hard for the time that they were here and the amount that was charged. I would recommend this company as well as use them again.

Both times they were prompt, took their shoes off and put booties on (that's important to me) were very nice but he said my furnace was fine but the day after he was here it makes a strange noise for a few minutes when it first goes on. It never did this before. Still does it a few months later now. The other guy was here unclogging my bathroom drain for almost an hour. He took it apart, put a snake down and later that night I could tell it was not cleared. Slowly over the next couple weeks it became clogged again. So I did my own concoction of baking soda, vinegar, boiling water and plunger and the drain has been totally clear for the past month. Sorry but I can never call them again even though the price was right.

Their office staff took a long time to get back with me claiming that they were switching email systems or something like that. It took a while for me to even set up the service after I purchased the deal. The guy that came out was very nice, very friendly and honest. They just did an inspection. I don't think I spent that much because they only did an inspection and I didn't get any services -so I don't think I got what I paid for the deal out of it.

He came, he did what he was supposed to do, which was a small thing. But, when I heard the price on other things I thought it was too much. I would have liked to get some other things done, but I feel like they were charging too much.

It was fine. We have no complaints. They sent one tech and he was at the home for about 45 minutes.

Everything went fine, they are just expensive.

They went through my whole house saying what else needed to be fixed which came out to about $2000. They just want to get into your house and sell you other things. It was the worst experience I have ever had. They charged me an extra $99 over the original quote that they gave me to install the faucet and no extra work was needed and the faucet was already bought.

It was good. They came and they did another problem I totally liked it without being more.

The price was fine. They did the minimal of the expected.

J.P. McCormick and another plumber came out on a Friday night to an emergency call to fix my main stack's floor drain that was backing up into my basement. They arrived within an hour and a half of my placing the call and fixed everything within about an hour. Both gentlemen were pleasant and professional. They were careful to wear protective covering to prevent soiling the floors around the work area. They charged less than the five other plumbers I called in addition to them, and were the first to respond to the call. I highly recommend them and plan to use them for future needs.

everything went pretty smooth until I needed to get a copy of the invoice and I was trying to get a copy of the video so it took me while to pin down the person who did the video for the sewer and I finally did get a copy of the invoice but I was told I could not get a copy of the video tape because I did not ask for it upfront. it took me 4 attempts to get a copy of the invoice and an estimate for the job that was the only bad experience that I had

The entire service call was surprisingly great!!! The service technician, Gabriel, was punctual, cordial, professional,and respectful. From the initial call for service,which was handled courteously and efficiently, to the technician who did the camera video, I couldn't have asked for a better outcome for my plumbing problem. I would recommend this company to everyone!

The work was done promptly. There were two drains for separate sinks in one vanity that required cleaning. The repairman only charged for the cleaning of one drain since both drains were easily accessible. Very generous.

The service I purchased was handled perfectly. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. The reason I have them a C for price was due to a quote I was given for additional service. The plumber who I had do the actual work was shocked and appalled at the outlandish price I was given.

The gentlemen was more interested in trying to set me up with a contract than cleaning my furnance.

They did the tune up on two toilets instead of the drain cleaning. They said the second toilet needed a new flapper and installed it, but a few days later the toilet was continually running so I called them and they sent someone out to correct the problem which ended up being the flapper they had just installed.
