The service men were very kind and took time to explain what they were doing and patiently and respectfully answered all my questions. I learned a lot, which is important to me. They were clean. Initially overlooked re-lighting the pilot light on my water heater, but returned promptly once I reported this.

Description of Work: came to house on time then the guy says he would like to buy my new faucet back from me and install his and he said even if he installs my faucet it will still be more money than the angies list coupon because of the cost of materials so I got a quote for his new one and he came back with a price of $523.00 for a laundry faucet installed and I told him to hit the road and I said just install my new one and he came back with a price of $320.00 to install that and I told him no thank you and he said since it was a small job he guess,s he could do it for additional $100.00 and a said ,just go ahead and do it. while his work was okay I didn't feel I would have to pay all this money for the work that was done I feel I was scammed and was not happy with this company,s tactics to bait and switch me the way they did this was my first experience using angies list and I was not happy at all!!!

Description of Work: Purchased angie's list deal (79 for 200 dollars worth of stuff). Had them come over and fix a leaking shower faucet (required cartridge replacement) and had them change outdoor faucet that was leaky. THey have "up front" pricing and when he priced out the cost for both jobs he said it would be about 600 dollars. I told him no thank you on the faucet and then he adjust the price by nearly 200 dollars. I gave a B on the price because the price that I ended up getting was the price that I had quoted from a different company. Had I not said anything itw oudl have cost me 200 dollars more. Buyer beware and do your homework before agreeing. The service man was very nice. He was coridal. He used the shoe covers as it was a snowy day when he came over. He made sure he was thorough and checked and double checked that his work was done correctly. Given the inflation in initial price though I would be hesitant to use them again in the future.

Description of Work: The plumber identified a general problem with my plumbing - the water pressure in my house is too high. He gave me three proposals for my work. I took the least expensive ($39+15 parts), and am happy with his work. | *BUT - when I checked my Visa statement I found that Angies List had billed me twice for the basic deal ($39). This is an error by Angies List, not Sullivan Super Service. I contacted Angie's list by email, and asked you to reverse the double charge. This has not been done. Will you fix this? If not, I'll cancel my relationship with Angies list.

Description of Work: They did a nice job. They tried to sell me some additional services (which is to be expected) which seemed pretty pricey but it wasn't a hard sell and the technician was really nice, skilled, and I felt really comfortable with him in my home.

Description of Work: Purchased this deal ($79 for $200 Worth of Plumbing Services) expecting to replace bathroom faucet and shower head. Before he began his work, the plumber mentioned that according to his standard book price the cost to replace bathroom faucet is $550. I think it is bit high. In the end the work done was replacing the shower head. To give credit, he additionally changed the pipe connecting to the shower head at no additional cost.

Description of Work: Instead of requested ordinary replacement of second floor bathtub shutoff valves, an estimate to run pipe from second floor to basement with necessary connections was issued for $3,160. This entire rating is indicative of ineptitude, unprofessionalism, and undermining of consumer intelligence.

Description of Work: Their estimate was extremely high. I had another company come in and do the job for 1/3 rd of the price. I will never use Sullivan's plumbing again although the service technician was a great guy !
