Description of Work: Work completed exceeded the scope of the Angie's Deal I bought. This was at my request. I felt the cost was a little much, but he was here and finding plumbers who come and meet their schedule has always been a problem for me -- although I never sought out a plumber through Angie's List.

Description of Work: We scheduled our annual A/C check and our A/C stopped working a few days before the inspection! We called Sullivan and they came earlier to fix the problem. They credited us the $49 inspection fee and we paid the remaining balance on a broken capacitor.

Description of Work: I was invited to watch the camera view as it was probed thru the pipe. Quite professional. The lead rep then left my address to permit the other young fella' to snake the drain. Inv then prepared and presented to me when job completed. Respectful professionals.

Description of Work: They were very helpful and informative. I bought an Angie's list deal for 79 dollars for 200 dollars of work. They were very nice and came out 4 times for various projects but they wanted to charge me between 600 and 1800 for various jobs. The 200 dollars really did not cover any major project. " shower install, install an outdoor drain, or new pipes for a bathroom." In their defense they tried to keep the costs down, but it was still pricey. In the future I would stick with coupons that only cover drain cleaning, because 200 dollars for skilled labor does not go vary far. Every tech was very nice and very informative, but their prices are high. Extremely willing to help and they tired to make it work, but we could not afford their service.

Description of Work: Unclogged the main drain. The clog was discovered on a Saturday afternoon and Sullivan responded immediately to my phone call and someone was at my house within an hour.

Description of Work: I purchased an ac check. They scheduled and arrived promptly. The technician was very professional and thorough. I believe the price was excellent and the service was excellent.

Description of Work: On 6/8/2014, I signed up for The Big Deal being offered by Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Heating & Cooling. I called Sullivan Super Service to set up an appointment for 6/25/2014. The office staff handling the scheduling was very professional & courteous. On the 25th, she called to let me know that Joe Simon would be arriving in 30 minutes. Like clockwork, Joe arrived on time. He was very professional in his manner & sat down with us. He gave an overview of the company, their policy, the training for the staff, and what he was going to do for the service. He then went about doing his job. He called us down to show us some problems that were contributing to our air conditioning not functioning right. He alerted us to several issues regarding our air cleaner & humidifier as well as two slight gas leaks. He sat down with us & wrote out all of the issues & options that were available. He also explained how some of the items were out of code which could cause problems if we wanted to sell our house. He explained their maintenance agreement for the furnace, air conditioner & the filters. It was a great deal and we signed up for it. Upon careful review of everything that he discussed with us & looking at all of our options, we decided to have a new air conditioner, air cleaner and humidifier installed as well as getting the other issues resolved. He checked with the office to see if Glenn Reis was available since he was the Comfort Advisor who would go over costs & the products with us as well as set up the installation. We were in luck. Mr. Reis had an opening & was able to come out to our place the same day. He brought all of the information on the products as well as costs and various payment plans. He explained that the workers had a checklist to go by & he would be back out in 1to 2 weeks to double check the work that they did. He was very patient & had a lot of knowledge about the products. We settled on the products we wanted & inquired about when the installation could begin. Again we were in luck because one of their crews would be available the next day. The next day we received a call from the office letting us know that the crew were on their way. Ben & Travis arrived at 8:00 a.m. Both men were polite and very professional. They immediately started on the work that was ahead of them. These men double checked everything they did to make sure that everything was in proper order. Once they were done, they went over everything with us to make sure that we didn't have any questions. They made sure that everything was cleaned before they left. They were very thorough. They were gone by 7:30 p.m. We are very impressed with Sullivan Super Service Company. Their employees were professional from their office staff to their service personnel. All of the employees were well trained & very knowledgeable in their fields. It's nice to know that a company goes that extra mile to make sure that their service personnel has the training they need to stay up to date in their fields so that they can take care of their customers. We plan to use the Sullivan Service Company for all of our heating, cooling and plumbing needs. Keep up the good work and I hope that Sullivan Super Service really appreciates those workers as much as we do. They are top notch employees.

Description of Work: While doing a routine drain cleaning, the plumbers found that an underground pipe had collapsed. This resulted in the need for a small excavation and pipe replacement. Initially, there was a mix-up in the plumber's office regarding when the plumbers would arrive at our home to fix the issue. This was frustrating to us since we took a half-day from work to remain at home. However, the plumber had very good service recovery and fixed the issue the following day.

Description of Work: The technician was very rude. He arrived but did not ring my doorbell. I guess he thought I was going to be waiting on the porch for him. Fifteen minutes beyond my appointment time I called the office and they told me he had come and gone but would get him on the phone and send him right back, which they did. When he arrived I asked him if he rang the bell or knocked, he said, No, he was sitting in his car waiting for ten minutes. "What!!!!!" (If I had not already paid for the service I would have just asked him to leave) Next, he asked me what problem I was having, which I told him I wanted him to check the perimeter of my house to see if I had an issue with my foundation. He looked said everything looked fine. I asked him to check inside also. He was hesitant but finally did it. He kept telling me that based on what he had seen outside he was sure he would find nothing inside. Inside check revealed that one wall was bowing and he said it needed either reinforced or rebuilt. So much for his theory that he would not find a problem once inside. He gave me pricing and left. He was very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I would not trust him to do the work based on his attitude and I am sorry that I wasted my money.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for AC tune up. He was friendly and explained everything. Our 4 years old AC is a little low on liquid and the evap coil could be cleaned, but in generally the AC looks good and runs safely. He gave my some options what we can do (so future appointment). |
