They were able to make the repair quickly and serviced both doors for a reasonable price without trying to talk me into replacing many parts that I didn't need. I paid slightly over $100 while another company wanted to charge me upwards of $850.

Communication and responsiveness was excellent, from the the initial inquiry to completion of job.

Everything you could hope for in a service provider. They do what they say they will do when they say it will be done. I appreciated their honesty and quality of work and would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their garage door.

Good selection of doors to choose, got quotation promptly, and doors were ordered and delivered within two weeks (one door was a special size). The installer was very professional, and the work was done and cleaned up in a 1/2 day.

On Monday I called Valley Lock and Door and spoke with owner Bob McCarty regarding repairs to a 15 year old Craftsman door opener. Bob explained to me that OSHA laws do not provide for repairs to be completed to a door opener which is over 7 years old. Bob told me that he handled Liftmaster garage door openers and the qualities of the manufacture and warranty. Upon review of Liftmasters website, I called Bob back and he was happy to answer all my questions about the different models and which would best suit my needs. I agreed on a Liftmaster 8355. We agreed on an install date of Wednesday morning. Wow, product in stock and such a quick install date:) The technician Tom arrived as scheduled on Wednesday morning. I asked if he needed anything; he said he was good. I went back into the house and within the hour, Tom knocked on the door. I figured he may have needed something anyway. To my surprise, the new opener was installed. Tom only wanted to know where I wanted the outdoor keypad placed and what password I wanted to use for it. After reviewing that issue, I looked around to see where Tom left the old door opener. I asked Tom where he put the old equipment. He said he was sorry that he threw it all in his truck to haul away; he didn't realize I still wanted it. I really didn't. I was just amazed that there was no residual mess left for me to cleanup or trash to get rid of. Tom was very friendly and seemed very trustworthy. I would say that I would not have an issue with granting access to Tom if no one would be at home should I need this companies services in the future.
