It got off to a rocky start, there was a miscommunication in where the fence was supposed to be. But once if was figured out the team made the fix and it looked great. We have gotten so many compliments on the fence and have requested their number. Would definitely use again.

The men who installed the fence worked very diligently and professionally, putting in long hours to complete the job in two days. The quality of their work and of the fence itself is excellent. We had some out-of-the-ordinary areas to fence, and the installers worked extremely well with my other contractors to get the job done efficiently and expeditiously. (We installed over 500 ft. of fence, with two single and one double gate.)

Smucker Fencing did an amazing job. Their pricing was very competitive, and the install went great. There was complexity in the design due to how we wanted the face connected with our house and with our shed. They even ran into some challenges with underground drainage piping that we didn't know was there. The crew did an awesome job, we would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had 54 foot of aluminum railing/fencing installed. John Smucker is a pleasure to deal with. He was very prompt with his estimate and very professional. Then when the fence arrived there was no delay scheduling the install. The gentlemen that installed it were fast, polite, and totally professional. They worked, ironed out a problem with a post, credited us for the problem, cleaned up, and were out of here in less than 2 hours. Great Job!!! The price was good and the work was better.

The work went great! John reached out to me within a day of requesting a quote. He was at my house the next day for an estimate. I received a formal proposal via email a day later. His team had the work completed within 2 days of signing the work order. His staff that came to my house was polite, prepared, and did not waste time performing the work. They also disposed of the previous fence material, and cleaned up when they were done. They did good work for a fair price. Highly recommend!

I was completely satisfied with my experience with Smucker Fencing. When I signed the contract to have the fence replaced, John Smucker estimated it would be 6 to 8 weeks before the work could be scheduled. The work was done in 6 weeks. The two gentlemen who did the work arrived on schedule. The workmanship was excellent and done in a professional manner.r.

After receiving multiple estimates, Smucker's Fencing was the most reasonable priced & was the only company that offered the Red Cedar Fencing. I contacted the company & they were prompt with returning my calls/emails as well as responding to my home to provide an estimate. Thankfully I called before the fencing season began & they were able to respond within two weeks of the initial estimate. Three males came to my home on installation day & spent the extra time making the measurements & also made sure the positioning of the fence was exactly what I wanted. The gentlemen were very polite & professional & they completed the job in approx. six hours. I'm extremely impressed with the look of my fence & I have no complaints. I've actually already referred one family friend & they have their installation date already planned! If I ever need fencing again, Smucker's Fencing will be my first & only call.

BEN AND 2 OTHERS CAME TO INSTALL FENCE. WHAT A PLEASURE TO HAVE SUCH PROFESSIONALS DOING WORK AROUND OUR HOME. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT. THE FENCE WAS UP AND ALL LOOKED BEAUTIFUL IN NO TIME AT ALL. A TOP NOTCHED COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. IT WAS OUR PLEASURE MEETING THEM.

As I usually do, I get 3 or 4 quotes and drive myself crazy googling for ideas, types of wood, fencing wire thickness. I was very comfortable with John and his quote. His team were great, very client facing, and answered all of my questions. I'm the type of client that goes outside to check a contractors work every hour or so, and they were great to work with. Also, their wood and wire was quality. I'm very pleased.

Men went about there work . Asked appropriate questions. In our woodland setting, we have a lot of plantings, some that were difficult to detect this early in the season. We did have some work to get a few plantings restored and part of a rock wall back together. Nevertheless, would use this outfit again without any hesitation . Very professional. We were very satisfied.

John's crew arrived early Monday morning to get to work. My wife said hat they were very polite, hard-working individuals. She also noted that they were very meticulous during the installation process. Double checking various measurements and alignments. They used a power auger to dig most of the post holes, but, as a precaution, hand dug a few holes where there was a possibility of underground utilities or piping. Very thorough. The entire installation took two days to complete. Worth the wait. I inspected the completed work and was very impressed with the quality of the craftsman that went into the installation. The fence is sturdy and should last many years. The installers even dug shallow ruts where the wire fencing would not have met the ground evenly due to sloping. This was to keep it at a uniform height and level all the way around the yard. I was equally impressed with gate latches on the farm/ranch gates. It allows the the gates to open in either direction. Very nice. Overall, the installation exceeded our expectations. Kudos and thanks to John and his crew. Great job! Would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

It went well. The privacy fence was installed on one day and the posts installed on the next day. All of the personnel were friendly and knowledgable about what they were doing.

I met John Smucker @ the Esch fence company and he met me at my home the same afternoon. He promised a quote and it arrived within two days. I paid one half the price and the fence was installed within two weeks. The work crew was professional and completed all the work within the same day. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the quality of the material and labor.

The work that was provided was done in a totally professional manner. From the exact placement of posts (in perfect line), wet-cemented posts, no detail was overlooked. My wife and I were thrilled with the final product. Perfect in every way! He was very fair priced. I got three different estimates and he was the cheapest. He was very professional and on time. The wood boards tilted because of the heat he replaced the boards. He came over right away and replaced three boards for me.

Everything went well. There was nothing wrong with this company, I just decided to not replace my fence at this time.

Overall experience was very good, prompt in coming out and preparing estimate, price was very competitive, Once I was ready to install they scheduled me promptly and showed up on time, were able to handle adding 8 additional sections with no trouble and charged me a fair amount for the extra sections. Quality is very good, all gates work properly and fence looks very nice. I would recommend and hire them again.

In this particular case, a neighbor's tree had fallen on our fence and damaged two pickets and a support rail. Smucker fencing came out the next day after I called and gave me the estimate for repair and removal of the tree--for $475. Most tree companies would charge at least that much to just remove the tree! Within two days, they had the job done. I will give an illustration of their integrity. They had put in 2 1x3 pickets to replace one of the 1x6 pickets that was damaged. We called them and said we would prefer a 1 x 6. Within a week they came out and replaced the picket, no questions asked. We have used Smucker fence for all our fencing since 2008. They are prompt, are quick with estimates, and are incredibly fast and efficient at installing fencing of all types. They have completely replaced the picket fence, gates, and rail fencing around our property. The last job they did we replaced about 500 feet of fencing with two different types: picket and rail. They completed the job in two days. I cannot say enough positive things about them.

I was impressed with the quality, the price, and the speed and ease in which they did the work. They are great guys and are really helpful.
