They didn't show up at the scheduled time, so I waited a bit, then called. There was a mix-up, and they were going to be late. They arrived about 4 hours past the time we expected them. One gentleman worked on our yard, and he was polite and courteous. However, I was quoted for the topsoil, which was accurate, and $50/ hour for the skidloader and operater. I estimated it would probably take about 3 hours with the skidloader total, which is how long it took. He spent about 3.5 hours doing manual labor, most of which I didn't request, but thought it was fine at the time--for example: he shoveled a bit around the perimeter, raked out the soil, stomped it down, and cleaned up the parking lot where'd he'd piled the soil. This is my biggest complaint: I was NEVER told in the estimate that I'd be charged transportation costs or $42/hour (yes, 42!) for manual labor. I expected the cost of the skidloader, but I did not expect to pay $42/hour for raking and shoveling. I would've gladly done that work myself if I'd known. And since he commuted 30 min. back and forth, I was charged a total of 2 hours transportation costs at the same rate of $42/hr. When I recieved my invoice, they charged me for 10.75 hours of skidlloader use--which I had to call and correct. The gentleman on the phone did offer to drop the manual labor rate to $38/hour...which was still very steep. I've asked around since receiving this invoice, and I've been told I was overcharged. I was happy with the finished product, not happy with the lack of professionalism and communication.
Description of Work: Used a skidloader to remover a layer of gravel from our small yard (600 sq. ft). and delivered topsoil. Performed a few other simple tasks.

They are very good. They are very responsive and have good pricing. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.
