I was in need of a chimney sweep for my regular cleaning but also needed to address concerns of maximizing the efficiency of my fireplace. The gentleman, Rich, could not have been more timely when he arrived. He spent quite a bit of time looking at the fireplace/ chimney & discussing air flow, sizing, etc. issues with both myself and my husband to help us understand what our options were. Ultimately we chose to have a new cap installed which I felt was reasonably priced. He also did a thorough job of cleaning around the damper door which no one has ever told me was a problem (there was a lot of mortar at the opening which did not allow the damper to seal properly). We have been in our home for 10 years and have had multiple sweeps out to clean our chimney and none of these issues were ever addressed, until now! We have only burned one fire since his service was completed but we can already see that the service he provided was well worth it & we will be certain to use him in the future! The only service he could not provide was installation of fireplace doors which we also considered doing but it seems as if we need custom doors and he was able to suggest a business that could assist us with that if we decide to go that route (although with the damper cleaned so efficiently we will hold off on that expensive for now & see how this winter goes!). He was very knowledgeable, professional, & timely.

The man who came was clean, neat, and courteous. I thought he did an excellent job. He came promptly and got the job done efficiently. He was very professional. The quality of his work was exceptional.
