In the end... professional and responsive. I can't seem to either remove or edit my previous review, so I am providing this updated one: "Professional, family-owned business. Stuck with us through township challenges to our generator installation. Thanks especially to Sharon! All good!"

After receiving a number of quotes all in the same price range, we decided to go with Power Watch System due to their willingness to work with us on the design and layout. The other quotes required us to install the generator in a spot they selected which was inconvenient and impractical for us. Jeff from Power Watch handled the installation and original quote and was great to work with. He and his team arrived right on time and walked me through step by step as they were installing. After the installation was complete, Jeff showed me how to operate and maintain the unit as well. Jeff, Sharon and Ilene were always very helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. The whole process was very organized and we never felt like they were trying to oversell us on anything. While the units are expensive, the overall price paid was in line with the other quotes received but we felt like Power Watch was muxh more organized and willing to put the generator in a location that made the most sense for everyone.

I recently required a gasket repair to my Generac unit and reach out to a representative Sharon (most likely the owner) who quoted a price of $330 for the repair. I asked how long she expected it to take for the repair. She indicated that it was ~3-4 hours. As the contract states all service repairs, outside of the maintenance agreement, were billed at $95 per hour this quote seemed to be inline with prior discussions and understanding of the service contract. After being a loyal customer I was surprised at their persistence in being paid in full prior to coming out when most contractors will take a deposit in order to send someone out and the remainder of the payment when work is rendered. The service tech arrived at 8:10. I had asked that he call when complete as I needed to leave for business meeting and my daughter was scheduled to come over to provide the check. I received the call at 10:00 indicated that he was completed with the work. Appreciative that the work was completed expeditiously I was further surprised that the quote remained at $330. I sent an email questioning the cost as the contract clearly states service calls billed at $95 per hour and the service tech clearly was done in under 2 hours. Sharon called me to dispute my understanding and demanded payment in full. The discussion, which escalated quickly, was left ended with us agreeing to disagree. Since I had committed to paying $330, I honored my agreement even though I thought the practices/quotes were deceptive. I further asked her to terminate my 2-year maintenance agreement as I no longer had trust in their organization; agreeing for them to keep the entire first year agreement (which is not over yet). This compromise was made in good faith on my part. It took them two weeks to respond. They have credited the difference as requested. I would strongly urge anyone working with this company to be careful. In my opinion, this job and the associated fees were grossly overcharged and the customer service was aggressive and uncompromising.

Company installed the generator as promised. There was no hidden costs. Crew that came to my house was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. After the job was done they explained the entire generator to me and made sure I understood everything along with cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

went over what I wanted to achieve with a generator; provided the quote by email by end of the day; coordinated with gas cylinder and gas provider (my choice of provider); all work was done in one day and even called back the gas provider as part of their connection was not correct/acceptable and had them correct it. Handled all permits. Response to all of my requests/concerns. Explained what I needed to know after the install and provided a fully bound owner's manual. Did not pressure me into 'extras' - explained what was available if I was interested. Price was 3,000 less than other quote

Jeff from Power Watch Systems replaced an item under warranty which was causing an overspeed condition on my 20kW Generac natural gas powered generator.? The office arranged the appointment and Jeff performed the work in a very efficient manner, as usual.? Last year, Jeff and another technician came to install a time delay for my A/C and pool pumps in order to reduce the initial load on the Generac upon startup whenever the A/C and pool equipment are operating when the Generator starts up.? Again, the work was done quickly and efficiently.? Jeff knows what he's doing, that's for sure.
