Horizon came in the morning and determined that they couldn't access the main sewer exhaust pipe because it had been covered over the years. Sewer company came out and located it and recapped it. Horizon returned that same day and cleared it out for us. Very nice people who didn't uncharge for having to return.

.My husband asked for service to the A/C unit. Technician thought we were stupid for requesting service because he thought he could not service the unit at that time of the year. When we actually need a completely new unit but the guy said to call back in the spring. Why did their office person take our request when the technician thought we were foolish to ask for off season replacement?

They were just price gouging us. We thought they were going to do more, but they didn't. All they did was sit down in front of the sink, take off two stems, replace two dime size washers, replace the stems. Took them overall about 15 minutes, and the bill was over $300. All they specified was a "faucet rebuild" which would entail breaking down the entire thing, not just to replace two small washers. He showed me one price of $42, and the rate was under $300 per hour but the actual work only took him 15 minutes. When he hit me with the bill we were angered because we were retired and that's not the rate he outlined and he was only here for about 15 minutes.

This was the first time I have used them. They were really good and on time. I plan to have them come back. I get my next year’s check up for free.

Quick service within a few hours, professional, knowledgeable plumber, completed quickly, got my water back on as soon as possible.

initial price of 2200 was 60% higher than others. When I questioned it, they immediately dropped to 1800 which was 30% high which is really a scam. There should be one price period. Now, I question which is the best price and if I am supposed to negotiate or how about if the 1800 was just an initial quote for others. Go elsewhere. Quality companies regardless of the feet slippers.

They are a really nice company. I've had them out here twice. They are lovely to have in your house and the thing about them is that when you tell them what you want done, they tell you up front what its going to cost and when they send out their repair person, that person will take whatever amount of time it takes to do their job. The other nice thing with Horizon is that they have these neat distinctive orange trucks and they have everything in there. They don't have to go anywhere. They are probably a little more expensive but they are so satisfying. Their technicians were so nice and so thoughtful. I had two of them in there. They clean after themselves. Everything with them was clock work.

I'm very happy with their service they were very professional. They did everything they could do to help with my problem. It is not their fault that they could not get the line cleared. I was unable to use this deal since they could not get it cleared and and they did not charge me for coming out to try.

We scheduled an install for 3:00.... They never showed up

The repair was good. The pricing is what I have a problem with. They came out and while one gentleman was repairing the faucet that I bought, which should have taken 20 minutes. He opened his book and they had a price on every service that they do for their company. Their price came out to something like $420 for this. I could have probably done this myself in 45 minutes. Whenever I complained, they said they needed to make a phone call and conveniently brought it down to $270. It took their sales person another hour to try to convince me that the pricing was reasonable. During the process of an hour to convince me this took an hour while the other guy was fixing the faucet.

I purchased a $99 drain clearing service from the Angies List site from Horizon Services. I then receive a call from Horizon Services to set up a date to perform the service. During the call I was told they cannot perform the service due to the drain starting from the outside of my home coming in to the house. Although this disclaimer was not listed on the advert, I did not fight when Horizon Services’ said I would receive a full refund. Later I get a check in the mail for $96.03. Even though it is a small amount of money it is the principle of the matter. I called and ask for a manager so I could correct the situation and I was told a manger would call me back when one was available. Needless to say I have yet to receive a call.

It went well and there were no issues. I would use them again in the future.

They came out and found my drain was not clogged so I didn’t need work done.

my furnace broke this morning, the technician arrived almost immediately, and after examination, I was told that I needed a new system. This wasn't a surprise, being that other companies have told me this previously, but I had resisted. Currently, I am dealing with a very difficult financial situation due to a divorce, and was not approved for financing through typical means. The salesperson at Horizon went above and beyond for me, ultimately working with corporate executives to work out an individual plan for me that is allowing me to afford a new system that will be installed in a few days. I am beyond grateful to the staff at Horizon, particularly Mike, Charlie and Paul. If they had not worked with me I would be facing a very cold winter; I really don't know what I would have done. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the great people at Horizon for their help and for their work. It is very much appreciated, and I would recommend them to anyone. They are professional and efficient, of course, but beyond that, they are a company with a HEART.

Our faucet fell apart late Saturday night. I called Horizon Sunday morning, and they set an appointment for Sunday afternoon. The plumbing technician William, arrived midway through the appointment window. After explaining we wanted to replace the faucet (due to age) he showed us our choices in the book. We chose a nice Moen replacement and a short time later installation was complete. This was the first time we used Horizon, and would use them again. William was professional and courteous and we will definitely request him next time we have a plumbing issue.

Fantastic......they came out within hours

They were prompt and professional. The technicians were clean and went over all the details of the new unit and how it needs to be maintained. The sales rep was very thorough during our estimate meeting however after he made his sale I never heard from him again even though I had some questions. Thankfully I won't be dealing much for the sales rep going forward and I have been very satisfied with the work of the technicians. Very expensive but good quality and reliable.

I called them in the mornin they gave a price quote of $99.00 and would have someone out the same day between 0400 and 0800 pm . I said that was fine. They called back and said they had someone available at 0200 . They came out unclogged the sewer line .They made appt to come back out to run snake cam to make sure eveything in the sewer line was ok and wouldnt clog again .This was all included in the $99.00 cost . I was very pleased with price and service I received.

,came to see about a leaking faucets in tub/shower...wouldnt replace the valve body with new same piece, saying its not up to code etc etc, but thats only in new builds not a home thats older, that just needs a new 3 handle valve body to be replaced....Tech didnt even know what the seat fitting was that i showed him i had.....he said it wasnt the seat, a seat is a washer....I said no. this small brass piece is called a seat and it gets screwed into the valve body......so right there i thought NO, im not using these people....so all we got him to do was put shut off valves on the pipes so we can at least stop the water from leaking out... and he did that fine and took maybe 20 minutes.....charged us 256 bucs, for something we couldve done ourselves actually....and the fact that they charge you 49.50 whether you use them to do work or not, i dont get.....they say its due to techs dont get pd by the hr so this fee is for their time.....so no, the actual problem wasnt fixed because he wouldnt put in a new valve body for whatever reasons he thought he couldnt......and yes he couldve done it, but he got his info all wrong...i guess cause they want to do bigger jobs so they can charge you more

Excellent company to deal with. They were running a $69 special for any drain cleaning, including the main line from the house to the sewer. They were very prompt--in fact, they called and offered an earlier appointment when a tech became available. The tech was professional and courteous. And we get a one-year warranty: If the drain needs to be snaked out again within a year--for any reason--it's free.

It was great. They installed it well. When you call, you are able to speak to a live representative. You can call any time.

I called at 10pm and they arrived the next day. They replaced the thermostat and an associated control box. These were under warranty--the system which they installed was 5 years and one month old. They review the thermostat operation with me. Great job--glad I bought the original system from them.

The tech reviewed that pros and cons of various sump pumps. I selected one and he installed it correctly. He gave me instructions on testing it. I like that they can supply the pump. I also like that the price is fixed, so any problems they have do not add to the bill. I would hire this company for anything.

The person doing the estimate clearly knew what he was doing. He wanted to see the entire house and asked me many questions about how the current system was working for me. All this was necessary for him to determine the size of the system that is correct for the house. The heating of the house is much more even now than it was with the undersized system the builder supplied. The techs behaved well and got the work done with a minimum of fuss. Overall, I was very happy. I will continue to hire this company to maintain the system. I would hire them to do any other work that this company does. There were some minor negatives. They could have used a bigger drop cloth in the area from the front door to the basement door. If my floor was more delicate, there would have been scratches. The area near the basement door is narrow, but the estimator assured me that no damage would be done to the walls. There were minor scrapes to two places on the wall. I should have protected them myself, but the estimator was adamant that is would be unnecessary.

The tech replaced the cartridge correctly. When the plastic handle for the faucet had a piece break off, he got a new one from the truck and did not add that to the bill. With this company, the price for the job is fixed. Once they give you the price and you sign the work order, any problems they have completing the work are their problems. There are never any add-ons. The original price was $238 but reduced to $168 with coupon and "service partner" membership. The tech did not mind me watching him work, so now I know how to do that repair.
