Description of Work: Salesman came out to give an estimate on replacing existing central air or perhaps using a mini split there price for the ductless system was 10,000 higher then the other two companies that I spoke with when I asked him why the salesman said that they did not get deals from the manufacturer also the central ac system was $6000 higher then the other two companies . Salesman was very pushy and said no one offers the guarantee that they have but if they are priced so much higher I am basically paying for that guarantee. Very high priced, very pushy.

Description of Work: I called Horizon services to unclog a kitchen sink drain clog. After doing some investigation on my own, I determined that the clog was not in the trap but further along the drain line. He came within the 4 hour time frame but at the end of the time frame. He was professional. He wore booties like they say. He cleared the drain with ease. He advised me of how to properly maintain the garbage disposal. Description of Work: Horizon replaced/installed a new water heater, new air conditioner unit, furnace and garbage disposal. The service technicians arrived on time, displayed professional conduct and explained each step clearly.

Description of Work: My home humidifier (in the HVAC unit in the basement) was leaking a little. He made the necessary adjustments. They had installed this HVAC unit. I have only good things to say about Horizon Services; I think they're the best.

Description of Work: Annual Furnace Maintenance. I paid for the service last year ($89) and received a free one this year. The tech was professional and seemed to know his stuff. No problems. I have never used any other services they offer.

Description of Work: came to clean my oil furnace. Had to come back 3 times and it cost me$$$$ Would not use them again.

Description of Work: I called Horizon Services in November or December of 2014 to inquire about an estimate to install central air conditioning in my home. Their radio ads were well done, and piqued my interest in possibly hiring them to do the work. When I spoke with the representative on the telephone, he asked me questions about my home and my finances, etc...which I expected. When it came time to set up an appointment for Horizon to come to my home, they would not make the appointment unless my husband could be at home also. I found this very insulting and chauvinistic. My husband has a very demanding job and works long hours. Both of us agreed that we wanted central air in our home, and we had enough cash on hand to pay for the work. Needless to say, this telephone encounter left a bad taste and we did not hire Horizon Services.

Description of Work: Added a pressure reducing valve to water line as it comes into house. Am not satisfied with regulator version used since it does not reduce pressure of water line when no water flows.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate to remove an old kitchen sink faucet and install a new one that I already had. The service rep came to my house and estimated $615 dollars to complete the job. I asked them to leave my home. The rep said he would call his supervisor and see if they could reduce the price. |He returned with an estimate of $190 including a one year service agreement that entitles me to reduced price service calls. I allowed the rep to complete the installation because he was at my house and I need the job completed.

Description of Work: What started out as a bathroom leak morphed into a fairly substantial re-piping of the drainage system in the bathroom. The original plumbing (ca 1975) was poorly done to begin with and over time pipe joints failed. So the whole system beneath the floor had to be redone. It was a difficult job that extended from Friday into Saturday. The replacement workmanship was first rate. Horizon is by far not the cheapest company - but at least you get what you pay for. The plumber Horizon sent was Anthony Fucci and if I have any more plumbing problems I'd definitely like to get him back.
