+ -1 moreA guy came out and wasn't able to resolve issue, but I was still charged. I asked if anyone was coming the next day to replace the well pump? He said he didn't know the schedule, and he couldn't reach anyone because they were all in meetings. The next day, without a phone call or estimate, 2 men showed up and had to look to see what pump was needed. I had called Morrison because they installed it and should have had my information. I was charged for them to go pick up what they needed. I feel that based on the above, the total charged should be reconsidered.

+ -1 moreGreat, timely and professionally. Something the estimator overlooked was taken care of by the installers at no additional cost to us. We highly recommend this company. We got 3 estimates and this company was neither the highest or the lowest but somewhere in between for the same equipment.
Description of Work: Moved one air conditioning unit to a roof top and replaced another with a new one.

They have done work for us seven years ago and I would rate that experience as a A as well. We have had a great experience with them and we will continue to use them in the future.

Description of Work: I recently purchased a house with a geothermal system installed by Morrison Inc. Within several weeks of purchase, the system started going haywire and would no longer produce heat. They sent out a repair guy who diagnosed the problem as a bad zone control board. They ordered a replacement board which took several weeks to arrive. After the board was replaced, the exact same problem happened again while the repair tech was there. After several hours messing with the system, he finally figured out that the problem was a wire which had been touching a contact on a relay and was shorting out the system. The wire had been touching the contact since the system was installed, and eventually melted away the insulation, causing the short. This was clearly something that was the fault of the installer and would not have happened if installed properly. This was brought to the attention of the company, but they still charged me over $700 for a short in a wire that was their fault. Beyond that, there was an extended warranty on the system that they took so long to send me the paperwork for that the transfer period had expired and therefore became worthless. Cindy, the woman who answers the phone, made no effort to let me know that there was an extended warranty on the unit and that the warranty had a specific period of time in which it could have been transferred. I believe that she intentionally neglected to tell me about the warranty because the company would rather bill the homeowner than have to deal with the warranty company. The bottom line is that this company has extremely poor and rude customer service and clearly does not care about their customers. They overcharged me to repair a simple short in a wire, at the same time neglecting to tell me about an existing warranty until it was too late to transfer the warranty. Stay away from this company!

+ -1 moreThey were not good. I am not going to use them, but I will go with another company for the work. They made the mistake and not to say that the service person was always nice. They took care of everything. They couldn't find the real issue and the other company came & fixed it right away. I had a problem and I needed another heater because I had put additional ones. I had them for years. The heating company lady recommended them. It seems I always had some issues and they had come over & over again.

+ -1 moreTheir pricing is competitive with other installers, and they have been doing geothermal for 40 years, so they are not newcomers to green technology. On the down side, it took forever (2 months) for them to get the actual furnace unit in stock, and they could have done a better job of keeping us apprised of what was going on during the long delay.Overall, we thought they really knew what they were doing and their installers are very professional, but their supply system needs improvement. We are very happy, after a summer and winter of experience, with the way the system works and our lower energy bills.
Description of Work: Installed geothermal heating and cooling, including drilling 3 100' wells to run the piping underground. Morrison's does their own well drilling, which is a plus, and they offer expert advice on possible ducting alterations needed with the change of system (we were formerly oil forced air heat). They enlarged duct openings two places and added an additional return duct -- as a result, our heating system is much quieter than it used to be, as well as more efficient. Since geothermal furnaces create hot water as a by product, they also installed a second hot water tank attached to our water heater, so when the unit is running regularly our hot water bills are much less. Putting in geothermal does tear up your yard, so you need to be ready to face that issue.
