Description of Work: had a new kitchen counter top put in. The company said they apply cement over the existing counter top and then do a design. It scratches very easy and is not at all what they said it would be.

Terrible. See detail of services above
Description of Work: They applied an overlay system to our front walk and porch.During the following winter we found that the surface was dangerously slippery. In fact, our mail carrier would not walk on the sidewalk. They came out the following spring and applied another sealer coat that was to contain a gritty material that would provide traction. It did not work. Called them and they came out again but as the tech was applying a new coat of sealer it started to bubble and crack. Once the bubbles hardened and were stepped on they pulled the color from the finish. Tech said it did not make sense to continue and he would be back. From that point to Sept , 2012 we called and left messages. They said they would be out but never came. Eventually they would not return our calls. Finally in Sept , 2012 the owner and tech did come out. The owner said he did not realize how bad it was. Not true-we had told him several times and the tech said he told him as well. After about an hour the owner said the only solution was to grind off the finish and redo it. I said whatever he suggested but I wanted a commitment that he would have it done before the temperature got too cold and he would use that as an excuse. He made that commitment 4 or 5 times during the conversation. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE!! Do not deal with them. Do not deal with them. Their products are inferior and their customer service is nonexistent.

All in all, the countertops and floor are fine and acceptable. The floor, on the other hand, is a different story. The new flooring was applied over EXISTING ceramic tiles. The company was recalled because there were gouges and dirty marks in the floor from moving the refrigerator back to its place and that situation was reconciled. But, the floor starting cracking within weeks after the compound was applied - there are "fault lines" throughout the kitchen and hall. The owner of Creative Surfaces came and inspected the work. He acknowledged the problem and stated to us that the company takes no responsibility for "we did what we were contracted to do!" Now, it is costing $11,000.00 ( just labor) to pull up the floor and relay a new floor. Besides the floor, the baseboard is totaled because the compound is applied flush to appliances such as sink, kitchen island, toilet, etc. We were misled by the salesman who promised us that we would be recommending this process to family and friends, never cautioning us about applying this compound over flooring such as ours Please beware of this process when it comes to floors. Ask lots of questions and be sure you are satisfied with the answers before signing any papers.
Description of Work: The company resurfaced kitchen countertops and backsplash using a process much like "concrete." In addition, the kitchen, front hall, powder room, and hall closet floors were resurfaced using the same process.

The countertops were beautiful when the job was done; however, to install them, they had to remove my kitchen sink. When they replaced the sink, it began leaking. I have followed up with them multiple times, and they said someone would come out to fix it, but no one has come. I had to hire and pay a plumber on my own. I couldn't use my sink for four days. I am disappointed in their customer service.
Description of Work: I hired them to install new countertops in my kitchen.
