WALSH BROTHERS PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL

We have had Walsh Brothers at our house now for a problem with our lines making a squeaking sound. It has been a very difficult problem to pinpoint.. John came here initially, Joe followed and Nick has followed up several times Through the process of elimination, I believe we have solved the problem. Each visit narrowed our options for isolating the problem. They were courteous and professional every time. I highly recommend these guys.

I've had these guys out to my house in Exton PA work for 4 days straight in April 2020 during Covid 19. such a great company and really a great group of guys. They installed my Heat Pump System as well as a new hot water heater. Joe Walsh even went the extra step to apply for rebates on my behalf which essentially paid for my hot water heater. Also we got excellent financing terms for the hvac unit. I highly recommend them for your plumbing and HVAC needs. they have never been anything but fair to me.

I was quoted a price over the phone of $250 to replace a defective gas valve on a water heater under warranty. We were okay with that not knowing how long it would take to do the job and considering a new water heater can cost upwards of $3000. I confirmed info with the company and was told the part would be ordered and we would be notified. I never received a call when the part came in as I had to call and confirm that myself. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 am on a Thursday. The technician called me at 7:55am trying to confirm a 8:00am appointment.I wasn't there at the time but noticed a voicemail on my phone. I contacted the tech and reminded him the appointment was at 10 not 8 and he said he was tied up with a pipe break but he would be there within the hour. The hour passes still no guy. My wife calls him and he's still tied up " be there in an hour" which would have been 12:30pm...He didn't show up until 1:20 pm and was done before 2:15. That's over $250 hour...yes $250 hour....Don't have your children be doctors, lawyers, etc...tell them to be plumbers.....

I can't Thank the Walsh Bros. Team enough. A/C stopped working Thursday night, sent them a text and had a response within 10 minutes that included an appointment time frame of Friday between 8-8:30. Technician called at 7:53 to tell me that he was 10 minutes away. He repaired the issue right away, was polite, professional and punctual. Can't say enough about the service and response. Will definitely use them again!!

Great family owned business! When we lost heat in a snowstorm we had service within an hour to get our heat back! The office staff could use some help. I was told we had an unpaid invoice (3 months after service) when in fact, it was paid the following day the invoice was received.

Was experiencing heater problems. Called the next day at 9:30 a.m and was here by 11:00 a.m. Quick installation, professionalism, and courtesy was displayed. Technician Brian was exceptional, professional, and extremely kind and willing to tell me everything and exactly what he was doing. Would definitely recommend and will be calling them for any future problems. Thank you Brian!

Good. We needed to have a part replaced. They found the problem quick and did the fix. Service man was courteous and explained what he did. We also have had them for our central air conditioning and the same applied.

Could not repair unit, said he was unfamiliar with heat pumps. I was told he would return on Wednesday with someone more familiar with HP. On Wednesday he never showed even after several calls.

We did not get to see any samples prior to installation, every decision was made by the provider except for the tile. The provider installed a shower handle set that is retro in style and we dislike how it looks. The provider put in a drain switch that uses a plastic part inside the mechanics, thus causing it to get "stuck." On our second appointment the provider told me it was my fault for going with a low-end drain spout and that to fix it each time it gets stuck I need to use a screwdriver to take it off and wiggle the piece inside to get it functioning again. When "stuck" it won't hold the water in the bathtub. The paint job around the drain was very poorly done. Overall our "new" replacements look cheap and poorly installed. It makes the entire point of our upgrading the bathroom look defeated and I am frustrated because the bill was not reflective of this work. They were both punctual and a polite company to work with.

As always, Joe's team responds immediately to requests of no heat or no A/C. They arrived same day and took care of the problem immediately at a reasonable price. They also installed this system two years ago at a very competitive price. The hybrid heat pump system has saves us $$$ and kept our home more comfortable than it has ever been.

The other company said they needed to dig a huge hole to make their job easier, so they could reach the connecting point. I will admit, the connecting point was difficult to reach, but the Walsh Brothers did the job effectively without making a big mess of the yard and were significantly cheaper. Two years later I have not had any problems with the pressure valve. They were professional, on time and did a quality job.

Joe was very responsive and provided an estimate in a very short turnaround. He was straight forward about the repair to be made and was easy to deal with. We are still reviewing estimates and haven't made a decision on who we will go with.

I arranged with Walsh Plumbing to do some work in my house and in good faith, paid for 1/2 ($850) of the job upfront, before the work began. I then decided I did not want to do the work and notified Walsh Plumbing of this by phone, leaving a voice mail, and requested a refund. Over a period of 6 weeks, and after leaving several voice mails with Walsh Plumbing, I was unable to get a return call from anyone at Walsh Plumbing. I filed a complaint in Small Claims Court against Walsh Plumbing to get my deposit (and filing fee) back. Three days before the Small Claims Court trial date, I received in the US mail from Walsh Plumbing a check for my deposit and the $125 court fee I had incurred. The check cleared, so I came out whole.

Everything went great and they did a good job. Their price was $1000 less than another company. They did a good work and had a good crew. Two young guys did most of the work and they were here for four days. They were real professional. Everything is working fine as it was a complicated job. They put in a new gauge in the washing machine which was not turning off and on.

They were good, punctual, professional and did the work.
