Work was completed but not to our satisfaction. One call to Dominic and he came out inspected the job and had someone there the next day to correct the issues we had.

I met with Dominic Dragan on 3/19/13 to discuss building a new deck in my back yard. Dominic was very instrumental in helping design how the decking was to be constructed. He suggested that the deck include a bay front to correspond with my existing sun room. We discussed the materials needed, how the deck would be constructed, and the removal of an existing brick patio. Dominic met with my wife and I on 3/25/13 and presented us with a detailed contract for building our 16'x 22' deck with bay front. Dominic was very patient in answering all of our questions regarding the design, the building materials, and the decking available to us. He also discussed the necessary permits required in our township. Dominic estimated that construction would begin within 2 to 4 weeks. Construction began on 4/22/13. Along the way, Dominic was again helpful with some of the suggestions made to change the decking size and to include an area where the deck would step down. I could not say enough about the work crew who actually built the deck. They consistently arrived each day and answered any questions that I had regarding how the deck was to be constructed. Dominic regularly showed up to inspect the ongoing work and Mark, the foreman, regularly contacted in the evening to ask if we were satisfied with the work. All debris and excess materials were removed and work was completed on or about 5/8/2013. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the final product.

We had to wait over two weeks to get the estimate and when we got the estimate it wasn't itemize as promised. Process took too long from start to finish, we met three other vendors who came out and sent estimates before we even were able to meet with this company. I'm sure they would have done a fine job; however, I was more concerned on how long it would take to get the project completed since it took so long for the estimate.

We had a patio door that was wood that rotted out and was not energy efficient. Plus one window in the dinning room seal was broken and would not lock. Dominic came to provide us an estimate for the door and window job in a timely appointment. He provided us with several options for the replacement door. We selected a vinyl door system but Dominic recommended the wood looking vinyl inside style to match the woodwork in our office area. Workers arrived on time, installed the door and window in a timely fashion. Cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend Thomas Tyler Construction for any window or door projects around the house!

Dominic was quick to return calls and come out for an estimate. His prices were in line with other estimates we got. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and did a nice job with the installation of the windows. He was very thorough in keeping the dust to a minimum inside the house (we have a young daughter), and did an excellent job cleaning up. We will be using this company for future projects.

Dominic gave us a detailed drawing and pricing with everything we asked for, and showed us samples of the product, He kept us in budget, adjusting the drawing, and accomodating some last minute changes. He encouraged us to enlarge the deck from our original plan for 12x16, and do away with the lighting to stay within budget. He said we would never regret going bigger and he was right. The crew was great. Some rain delays, but it was done right. We are very happy with the result.

Dom, was very easy to work with and responsive. Any issues were immediately addressed and corrected. Very pleased with the finished project and have already engaged him for other home projects.

The owner, Dominic met with us in order to understand exactly what we were looking for. He could not have been more up-front with us. He showed interest in our project and he took the time to address all of our needs/questions from design - to material options- to price. Once we settled on price and signed the contract the job progressed from start to finish without a hitch and on schedule! The work crew was very professional and went out of their way to keep us informed of their progress. They also went out of their way to clean up the work site every evening before leaving. They even volunteered to work over the weekend so we could use the pool for a family party at the end of June! We could not be more pleased with the outcome!

Work was professional and done to my satisfaction. I have used this company before and find it to be consistently professional, the prices fair and they do a good job and stand behind their work.

Our initial meeting went fine. He arrived on time and was very polite and professional.

Flat out, these guys were tremendous from start to finish! I replaced a deck that was on the verge of collapse. I went with Thomas Tyler because of the positive reviews here on Angie's list and they quoted me at what I felt was a good price compared to some other's I received. Absolutely no regrets! It took a long time (@2 months) to get the approvals from the township and my HOA, but that was no surprise to me and was out of their hands. Once it was in their hands, they did fabulous work. Brian and Frank did most of the construction and were extremely professional and courteous

Dominic Dragon, the owner, was very responsive and thorough. He came out, we discussed what we wanted done, he made some suggestions and within a couple of days he came back out with samples of decking and rails, as well as brochures from several entrance door manufactures. We selected our choices, we discussed what we wanted for the new front entry porch and he took a lot of measurements. A couple of days later he was back with detailed estimates for each of the three projects along with a professional contract and a copy of his contractors license and his insurance certificate. Again, very thorough. He also provided us with three references which we called and got very favorable recommendations. Dominic gave us an estimated start date for the work and he was within a day or two of the date due to rainy weather that had delayed the job before ours. Once here his crew worked steadily. They were friendly, neat and most importantly they knew what they were doing. The front porch required a building permit and their work passed inspection no problem. At one point the lead carpenter on the crew threw his back out and could not work for several days. Dominic called to keep us updated and he gave us two $50 gift certificates to one of our favorite local restaurants to thank us for our patience. Actually, the delay was on the front porch work and since we don't use the front door very often it was no inconvenience at all, but we appreciated the gift certificates. The results were outstanding. The deck is beautiful and best of all its now virtually maintenance free. The front entry porch is very attractive. Previously we had no front porch, but Thomas Tyler Construction designed and built a porch that looks like it was original to the house. We have had numerous compliments from our neighbors. All in all we had a great experience with Thomas Tyler Construction and Dominic Dragon. Their work was excellent, they were prompt, thorough, friendly and neat. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Dominic was extremley reponsive and was prompt and professional from day one. He kept in constant contact, quickly returning my call, stopping over to see the job, and providing a quote all within a few days of my initial call to him. His price was in line with a couple of other quotes I received. I went with Dominic because of his responsiveness, and because he was so easy to deal with (I had a couple of special request, which Dominic gladly agreed with). Dominic and his crew started the job on time, and showed up everyday when planned. Dominic called me practically everyday with an update, or asking questions regarding my preferences regardinfg details. In addition, whenever I called Dominic, he either answered, or called back within a few minutes. He is the most accessable contractor I have ever delt with. Dominic and his team finished the job as promised, and without any hidden or extra charges. They did beautiful work, and kept gthe work site clean. We love our new deck, and highly recommend Thomas Tyler Construction.

We picked a bad time. They scheduled to start the work on 09-27-2012 and expected to have the work done by 10-03-2012. Needless to say we got rained out. They did everything they could to make up the time including working on Saturday. I had scheduled the Painters for the week of October 8. They finished in plenty of time. I had to ask them to make one change to the height of the railing but that was the only problem that I spotted and the resulting porch is so much better then the original that even the neighbors stopped by to compliment the job. . The workmanship appears to be good and I'm confident that it will last many more years than I will need it. The Price was not better than other estimates but it was also not higher so I believe it was the right price. I did get one lower so I don't think I can't rate it as an A. I do not think I could have gotten a better job at any price. Despite the rain they did show up on the weekend but they did start later than they had scheduled so I couldn't give them an A on that. They were always close to their expected start time so I think a B is fair.

Very well, Dominic called to state he was on his way, and called after to see if I had any questions.

We asked for an estimate for a sunroom. Dominic arrived at our home on time. He was friendly and professional. We were very impressed with Dominic's attention to detail and knowledge of the project. His price was very competitive. After much deliberation we decided to go with a different company because of differences in product warranty.

Returned to repair a leaking skylight that from the weather continued to leak. He covered this under his warranty. I appreciate that he stands behind his work.

I would recommend Thomas Tyler for any projects around the house. Dominic is a gentleman with lots of experience. He is honest and his prices are reasonable.

Dominic presented several working options for replacing our screened porch. He included a choice of materials and the estimated costs. Once we decided to have the work done, he and his team came out and measured for proper fit . They did an excellent job taking down and carting off the old materials and left the work area spotless each day. They put up the new enclosure in a matter of days . They were very exacting, and made sure the screens, windows and door were installed properly. They did a great job, and we've gotten many complements on the new enclosure!
