Paul was extremely responsive and punctual and did not even charge me for the service call! That's unheard of. I will be contacting him again very soon to take care of another less-pressing issue. I heartily recommend him.

Had used him in Nov 2012 before I found him on Angies list to repair a heater. He had to come out a few times before he narrowed down the problem, but was diligent. He replaced a gas control part for an approprite price and about half of what the big name companies were asking as an emergency repair. ICalled him again near 10/2013 to repair a drainpipe in my basement utility sink that was leaking and keeping me from being able to do l laundry and a faucet in my bathroom that had broken off. He said he would call me back to schedule a time that weekend once he checked on his availability. He never called back. I thought that was lousy customer service, especially for a repeat customer and will not call him again. Ratings are an average of bothe experiences.

He came in the morning, assessed the situation and said he'd be back later. He said he wasn't sure if he could get the water heater on a Saturday. He came back earlier than he said he would be, and he put in a new water heater & a new regulator. He was very nice and very competent. He was very kind to come out on a Saturday. I was very happy with him.

He showed up on time and was very professional. He worked very efficiently and he was courteous as well. It was an excellent experience. They did a great job.

He was away on vacation when I requested to schedule the appointment through the Rapid Connect program. He got back with me four or five days later as soon as he got back into town. He was able to come out for the appointment a few days after that. Everything was fine with the work. However, Paul did not seem to have much of a personality and it was hard to hold a conversation with him.

There was a slight leak so he had to come back. He came back promptly, fixed the issue and I was very satisified with the results. He was pleasant to work with and I would recommend him.

I called them to schedule the work after the purchase. He said he would call me back. He never did. I had to call him back (2) more times and once he said he was on vacation and that he would follow up, which he never did. It was (2) small items and they are located close to my home but it may have been that he wanted a larger project.

It was amazing. I had a problem in the house and he was able to find it. He was very thorough. I liked his work. He does great work.

Our Home Warranty Company directed us to this plumber. We called to schedule a time and he informed us that he is only available after 5PM to do home warranty service calls. We found this strange as it is after normal business hours but we scheduled the call anyway for the next day and never heard from him again. We were not surprised about this as he seemed very unprofessional as he never bothered to take any information from us and said he has our number on his caller ID and would call us close to 5PM to let us know when he would be at our house. No call so we asked for new plumber.

Found extensive damage from old bad piping, had to tear out a decent amount of ceiling, replace old piping. It was a very unpleasant surprise, but Paul was awesome and very responsive and made the best out of a bad situation.

They were good, professional and they did their job well.

He was only here little over an hour and he told me what the problem is because I have LED piping I have a major problem so I have to hire somebody for so I had estimates and when I got couple more estimates from names that I got from Angie's list. I have a major job that I had to get done. He looked at it so it is not all fixed. All the pipings had to be removed. He didn't charge me anything extra. I would use them again.

Paul was great. I called him around 5:00PM on a Friday evening. He was out to the house within the hour. He snaked our toilet and suggested that we purchase a new one. We did contact him again to authorize this purchase, but unfortunately he did not respond to our phone call.

He showed up on time and completed the work as stated within the deal. He was very professional. WE would use them again in the future.

Returned my cll promptly, and arrived I within designated time frame. Worked efficiently and neatly.l

My concern: 1. Trying to arrange a time to for Paul to come out to perform the service has not been to my expectations--given the service that I've received from vendors of other big deal purchases I've made. I get the distinct feeling that Paul, perhaps is too "busy" to perform the work. 2. My first attempt to arrange a time, I called from my cell phone and left a message indicating 2 week days, that I would be off from work and would be home all day. I gave my preferred contact # in the voice mail message. After a few days I did not hear from Paul, not hearing back, I called him. When arranged for a time May 23, 2013. Before hanging up I explained that my cell was the best number to reach me. When I attempted to give him the number, he said, " he asked, "is it the number you're calling from now?" I replied "Yes"; he answered, "I have it".). 3. May 23, 2013 he left a business card in my door. I was home! I was upstairs. After waiting till after 8pm, I sent him an email. Indicating, "I don't know how I missed you." He replies to my email either later the next day or the day after indicating he didn't have my cell number. ??? He asked for it again, I gave it to him and he indicated he would come out on Wednesday evening 5/29/2013. He did no show up nor did he call. Before receiving this survey prompt was actually in the process of writing to Angie's list to see if I could get a refund on my big deal coupon. If that's not possible I won't sweat it as it's 59.00 I chock up to learning a lesson--you get what you pay for. I've used providers from BIG Deal several times, they ALL have been responsive---most of them contacting me, before I had a chance to contact them. Not only was he unresponsive, when I did speak with him, he had excuses and seemed "disoriented" for lack of a better description. I saw recently he offered a big deal $59 for plumbing service--I chuckled to myself and said, "yeah right". I would like a refund on this big deal if at all possible. If not, I will chock it up to a lesson learned--you get what you pay for. I truly regret having this experience as for the entire time I've been a member (a couple of years) I have had only favorable experiences with providers--but I also understand that things happen. I was surprised at the lack of professional response and service from this provider as he was rated very highly in prior years. I want no attempts from this provider to try to "make good" as in my humble opinion, it is now June 18 2013 and no attempts at rescheduling have been made--and quite frankly I don't feel I should have to chase someone down who has already been paid for the service! The best thing the provider can do for me now is to refund my money

He had the part available in his truck. That was great. The part was not covered in the deal.

They were great. They were very responsive. Actually with the pipe problem that they fixed though they fixed it, there was another problem and I called them so they came out the next day and took care of it. They did not charge anything extra but took care of it. Price wise I called around and they had the best price.

This went very well, and the cost was a very good deal for an hour of good plumbing work. It has been several months and the faucet is working properly. Upon reading the reviews, I saw that some people were unhappy with being charged extra for some extra parts that were needed to do the jobs that they wanted done - in some cases they were charged $100 for parts that cost $6. I talked to Paul about this, and he explained that the cost was not so much for the part but for the extra time it took him to get it.part. This can be avoided by explaining the job to him and asking if there are parts needed to do the job. In my case, I bought some flexible connectors that connected the water supply lines to the faucet. $6. You can't do this in all cases because you might not be knowledgeable enough to buy the part, but I am sure that if you explain the job to Paul beforehand, he can show up with all the correct parts. .

They are very prompt and their prices are competitive. They are very professional. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely continue to use them.

We recently moved into an older twin in Havertown and quickly discovered some plumbing issues. We had a home warranty with HSA but the plumbers they sent to inspect and then follow up on the job were hard to get hold of, didn't who up until 1 or 2 PM some days, and didn't communicate much about what was going on. (I've since heard plenty of home warranty horror stories). At each stage, they seemed to find something more to the problem - but couldn't make repairs without getting the OK of the warranty company first. Meanwhile we were living without water or shower for three or four days. Finally had enough and found Paul on Angie's List. It was night and day - he came out, gave us an estimate and a timeline, and when it became clear that the project was going to involve far more than we'd anticipate, he helped us find some options so we didn't break the bank! He and his crew were very thorough and did solid work. We would definitely hire him again.

vendor didnt service my area. got a refund.

It was a poor experience. The person that was sent out came up with a laundry list of things that we need to fix, so I got a second opinion, and more than three quarters of the list were easy fixes that I could do. He was little bit less than polite. He did what he said he was going to do, a full house inspection but he was doing the marketing thing to try to get us to pay for a lot of plumbing services. The hot water heater cleanup he did was fine and it works great but I would certainly not use them again. They missed an appointment.
