Description of Work: Biggest problem was communicating back and forth with different schedules, both being busy, etc. Once we figured out a good time to meet and assess the work, it was smooth sailing until phase one was completed. | |I had a coupon and really needed the rusty water lines to two toilets replaced, along with new valves. There were things I wanted done in the basement as well, but wanted Paul's price before committing. I had an estimate from another plumber before seeing the Angie's List coupon, so I had an idea how much the work would cost. Paul's price was about the same - more on some items, less on others - but what sold me is that he saw something the previous plumber had not - a crack in my sewage line. It wasn't leaking, but the idea is to fix it before it does! The other plumber did the same walk-through, saw the same areas of concern for me, but didn't catch that crack... | |Anyway, once we agreed on the items I wanted taken care of and price, Paul and his employees split up; each guy completed a bathroom then both went to assist Paul in the basement with the sewage main repair, water line hangars, new/redirected washing machine hose connection with a proper trap (existing had no trap to prevent back-up into the washing machine), and finally repair and redirection of the condensate line into a proper trap, along with rerouting the dehumidifier line directly into the new trap as well. New shut-off valves were also installed. | |They were clean and efficient and showed me each item before packing up to go. I also ordered a new toilet which we have yet to set up the installation appointment, but I would definitely recommend Paul Shoenberger. If you are patient in the beginning while he juggles working and making appointments for future work, you will be please with the final product.

Description of Work: Replaced valves in basement for water supply pipes

Description of Work: I purchased the service for installation of a new bathroom faucett and new water shutoff valves in the main bathroom of my mother's house in the suberbs of Philadelphia. I had purchased the new faucett for her and wanted to have it installed prior to the Christmas holiday before her company arrived. Paul and I spoke by phone to discuss the job and he committed to completing the work before Christmas. Paul contacted my mother as promised, scheduled a time to do the work for her that fit her schedule, showed up promptly as promised, and completed the work in a skilled and professional manner. He cleaned up the work area before leaving, and there were no leaks or problems with the installation. The house was built in the 1930's and had very old copper piping and no shutoff valves. Paul's handled the job without any problem and we were very pleased with the results. As a result of his very good work through the Angie's list special, my mother called him again to install a new sump pump in the basement when the old one failed during heavy rainstorms. Paul was again very responsive and replaced the pump that day and prevented her basement from having more serious flooding damage. We are very satisfied with his work and his phone number is on the refrigerator for quick reference is she needs any plumbing work in the future. Thumbs up on his work and fully recommend him for your routine plumbing work or fixing problems.

Description of Work: Paul arrived and performed the toilet tune-up purchased as a Big Deal in an effective and time efficient manner. He also discussed potential toilet replacement and provided an estimate on future cost to replace. Overall great experience!

Provider did temporary fix and indicated he would provide work proposal with prices. Has not done this so I've contacted a more responsive provider

Description of Work: We have used Paul's services on two separate occassions and will use him again in the future. The first was to correct a leak caused by another providers faulty installation of a newly purchased dishwasher. The other was to install a new faucet in our kitchen. In both instances Pauls and his crew performed the services as expected with no issues. We look forward to utilizing Paul's services in the near future.

Description of Work: After purchasing the services of this vendor, I e-mailed details of 3 small jobs I wanted addressed. I never heard back from them--got money returned by Angie's List. Vendor did not contact me in any way.
