Freedom Painters

Work went very well by experienced professional painters who moved and/or covered furniture, drapes, pictures etc. It has been a pleasure to work with Justice.

They were efficient, clean, and fast. The work was competed in 1 day. Our walls look great.

WOW - Justice and the team were great. We wanted to save a little money and knock out the painting over the new walls ourselves and he took the time to tell us exactly what type of paint to use and everything. The team made a truly unlivable space in our attic look 100% brand new. We love our new room. During the final inspection Justice was even more critical than we were and took the time to fix minor imperfections that we did not even notice.

Justice came promptly on the day we scheduled, looked at the work and gave an estimate within two days. We agreed on the work and scheduled it accordingly. The work was done quickly and professionally by one of his assistants. The room was left clean and he sent an invoice a couple of days later. Justice provided all the materials, and we agreed on a color (since we weren't that picky, we just wanted something neutral for a rental). He did discover that the plaster damage in the wall was worse that we originally thought, and we negotiated an additional fee for that repair work. So far it seems to be holding up well and the room looks fresh and clean. !Will hire again but he's so busy get ready to wait a bit!

Job took 2 days. Justin was the first to respond to the job and said he would come over and give me an estimate. He and his team completed the job as requested. He was professional and courteous.

Justice was great to deal with. He was responsive and priced his bid competitively. When we added small additions to the work, his increased price was very fair. The work was done on time, in budget, and good attention to detail. Justice clearly takes pride in his company's work. We were very happy with Freedom Painters, and would absolutely use them again.

Updated: Estimate did arrive as promised but ended up in my junk folder. Absolute miscommunication. Hopefully, I look forward to working with Justice on future projects. The owner came over and was very nice and helpful about what work needed to be done. The pricing was fair. Being that he's a local guy and had good reviews, I would've moved forward with working with him. But he never sent over an estimate as discussed and never returned my phone call. I understand that his company is very busy, but it would've been better if he said he couldn't take on my job and allowed me to get other estimates.

Freedom Painters was very professional and did a fantastic job with the ceiling as well as wall repair. I'm really pleased with the beautiful result, especially compared to the ugly popcorn ceiling that was there before! It was a messy job but they did well with protecting my stuff with tarps and paper. It also took longer than estimated but they finished as quickly as possible and came in under the estimate as well, by scraping rather than re-drywalling in the end. I would definitely use this provider again.

Did not get the work done but would use this painter for future work for smaller jobs.

We were greatly surprised a recent afternoon when interviewing a consultant for residing our home when he asked us if we heard anything strange. We all looked at our ceiling about the same time and saw a strange white bubble hanging down (about 15" diameter!) that was slowly dripping!!! A few minutes later the ceiling collapsed as if a mini-bomb had exploded before us leaving a huge gaping hole and a lot of debris floating in the air. We discovered we had a broken A/C pipe that was leaking, causing this result. We went straight to Angie's list, and my husband called 2 companies for estimates. After meeting Justice, he knew he was the right man for the job, not only because of his competitive price (30% less), but also because of his obvious experience, character and personableness. Once the job got started we discovered how thorough, committed, careful (covered all areas and removed some of the furniture), made sure the archways were covered as well to protect the rest of our home from dust, odors and the hot air coming through the open attic. Justice's assistant, Omar, was extremely diligent, even using a hair dryer on the ceiling because of the high humidity preventing the paint from drying faster. He was amazing, also very thorough, careful and determined to finish the job to our satisfaction. We couldn't have been more pleased with the amazing results! We would definitely use them if needed in the future! We can only give them the highest recommendation possible!!

We needed a repair with an urgent timeline. Justice was at our house the same day and did an excellent job. The repair is seamless. He cleaned up after the work and the price was fair. Will definitely use them again and happy to refer to others.

Justice was prompt to the consultation and quoted a price a day later. It seemed fair. They were one time and did everything professionally and cleaned up the dust after. They also then offered to prime the walls at a low cost. (We painted ourselves.)

Arrived on time, were efficient and professional. Cleaned up when they were done. This was the second time I used them and I would highly recommend them. Excellent job for a good price.

I hired Freedom to remove wallpaper in a few spots around the house. Justice was professional, responsive, and very reasonable to work with. His guys worked quickly and efficiently. I was amazed at how easily they removed the wallpaper. I've done it myself and butchered my walls, but after justice was done I primed the next day. The only complaints I could have are small, but to be thorough I'll include them. First, one of his guys called out and we had to push back the scheduled date 1 day. It ended up not being a big deal since I was available both days. Second, they did not remove the (3) bags of trash with them. I only mention it because I had assumed they would.

Justice & his team arrived on time every morning and worked all day. They were very professional. Their work was excellent. The job took considerably longer than estimated, but they did not increase the price and worked hard to complete the job- even came on a Saturday. The wall repair was pretty bad in some places and each room looks amazing. All the wood trim was natural/stained wood and they painted it all white (this included chair rail, door frames, banister, and baseboards). They painted all the ceilings white and color on the walls. The wallpaper removal damaged some walls pretty badly, but they made it look nearly brand new. I called several places for estimates and Justice gave us the best price & was very knowledgeable. They cleaned up at the end of each day and made living through such a big project very easy for my family.

I would absolutely use them again and plan to soon. Justice stood by his work, went above and beyond in addressing a minor problem, and was responsive and pleasant.

It went extremely well. Justice (main owner) provided a very reasonable and detailed quote for the work to be done. His crew was very punctual and professional, and hard working. Justice inspected the work afterwards and finished up some details. I could not be happier with the overall experience. The house looks great.

Justice painted my kitchen 4/2012 and I was very happy at that time with his work. I have no problem with his company, his workers, his professionalism. I wanted him to quote on this job which is a larger project, however, his quoted price was much higher than the competitors.

Did a great job on repairing my drywall.

The job was done in no time and was beautiful. The price was very reasonable. A professional job!

Justice (owner) came out the next day at the exact time he promised. Surveyed the job and had Olan (sp?) come out the same day to get started. Olan asked if he could come the next day (a Saturday) to put a second coat on the doors. This would allow the doors to properly dry before installation on Monday. He came promptly at 8AM Saturday with a helper. Came back again Monday- 8 AM sharp to complete the job. At the end of the day, Justice came and walked through the job with me to make sure I was satisfied. I was! They did a fantastic job! Justice & his team restored my faith in painters- doing exactly what was stated, showing up when promised, responsive and at a great price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We are working on getting scheduled. No work on this current project has been done, but my willingness to use Freedom Contractors again is because of the outstanding work done in my home over this summer. I highly recommend Freedom Painting.

Justice can out as scheduled although he was busy.I appreciate the fact that although it seems he has mainly large jobs he was able to fit me in.He was polite and professional.He sent one of his men out to do the job on saturday.I wish i could remember his name.He also was great.Did the job in a timely manner,Cleaned up when he finished.He forget to get the check for payment.I called Justice that Monday to let him know.He did not seem the least bit alarmed said he would pick it when he could.I waited a week no one picked up the check and no calls about it.AMAZING.Icalled justice to see if it was ok to mail him the check ,which i did. This ia good company and a great bunch of people.

Justice was very professional, punctual, and extremely accommodating of my timeline. They were able to finish the job on time and as promised. I was very happy with the job and overall experience. I will definitely use them again.
