Freedom Painters

Justice and his associate did a fantastic job on the room. It looks so fresh and bright and professionally done. We had moved a lot of things out of the room ourselves, but he had made it clear we didn't really need to do that, and they were great about the furniture that was left. They were in early in the morning and out by the end of the work day so it was truly ideal. My one piece of advice would be that if you have a smaller job and a time frame in which you want to get it done, don't wait until the last minute. They were very responsive to emails, but it took awhile to actually get a date for our job, primarily because they were waiting for a rainy day and eventually had to give up on that! We will definitely hire them again in the future.

They did a nice job. It was a large interior project (entire main floor and upstairs hallways). Justice did a great job communicating. The job started on time and was completed in a timely manner. The team did a good job cleaning up before they left each day and laying out the drops cloths each morning to protect everything. Price was very competitive. I would recommend.

This was the third project Justice did for us. We liked their work so much we waited 6 weeks for them to schedule painting our kitchen and hallways. His guys were on time, worked hard, covered everything, and kept the area clean.

Pretty good. Justice's team jumped on the project, worked overtime, and did a clean job. Justice is a gentlemen who is professional, hardworking, and responsive. Justice is meticulous at finding good painters who brush and roll the right way. His people are very careful as protecting the ground from splatter. Everyday they vacuum since they understand that people live in their work areas.

Dan and Justice were great to work with. I called six contractors and Justice was the only one who called me back. If I ever have another project I'll go to him first.

Justice was very responsive to my initial call looking for an estimate. After coming to view the house, he provided a room-by-room estimate, and we were then able to determine what rooms we wanted to prioritize. His estimates were very competitive, and after speaking with him we decided to work with his company. Justice arrived with two of his painters on day one of the project, and we detailed a couple of scope changes which presented no problems to them. Justice left and the painters began working away. They were super professional, did excellent work, and continually asked for our input when it was needed--and provided advice when we asked. They finished the project a day earlier than estimated, even with a minor change in scope (the addition of one wall which hadn't been on the original estimate). Justice contacted afterward, asked if we wanted a walkthrough or the guys to come back to do touch up work, but neither were needed. The job they did was excellent. I highly recommend Freedom Painters and would not hesitate to work with them again.

I cannot possibly compliment Freedom Painters enough. Justice Weingart provided excellent service in painting the exterior (40 windows, 15 doors, and four large pillars). Our house is 90 years old and required many hours of skilled preparation which Freedom painters more than amply provided - the pillars alone were in terrible shape - but they look amazing now. The foreman on our job was Mike - one of the hardest working young men in Pa. He and his painters arrived when scheduled, worked constantly with very few breaks (in spite of the fact it was over 90 degrees), cleaned up after themselves EVERY night, did not play music (although that would have been fine with me), were courteous and diligent. In spite of terrible heat, they did not rush the job and I could not possibly be more thrilled. Every one of the workers were skilled painters - not college kids handed a paint brush for the summer. I would recommend this company to anyone. I am really fussy about painting and my house - and I am thrilled!!

On estimate and time withprofessional work. Friendly and professional crew. Excellent clean-up. An all good experience, no complaints!

Justice arrived the first day and detailed the work that would be done. He frequently visited the job to make sure things were progressing well. To make the project more challenging is the fact that I work from home so the workers needed to account for that. While I can't say that I didn't know they were there, I can say they did not interfere with my ability to work. The painters were very detailed and thorough. They moved all of my furniture without incident. They cleaned up daily before leaving and did a professional, quality job. This is was a big job...one I don't plan on doing it again soon but I would certainly contact Freedom if I were!

Justice came by for an estimate. He was on-time and amicable. We discussed the painting of my basement in detail. He said he would include line-items to offer several options. He said it was a busy time, but that he would get back to me with an estimate. Great, no problem. The estimate never came. I thought about contacting him, but then realized that if I had to be this proactive just to get a bid, I probably did not want him and his crew working on my house anyway. It is worth noting that within five minutes of meeting me and finding out how I heard about Freedom Painters (through Angie's List of course), Justice told me how much he hated bad reviews and even took them personally. If his professionalism was on point, I would not be writing this review.

Justice and his team were nothing short of amazing. They were pleasant, extremely dedicated, and knowledgable problem solvers. When glitches arose, they reacted calmly with a clear plan to move forward while not deviating too far from the original deadline. I was due with a new baby and we were waiting to move into the house until all their work was completed. The guys stayed until well past midnight on their last night of work to make sure that we would be able to move in as we had scheduled. True perfectionists, their work (on a difficult project!) was masterful. I would highly recommend Freedom Painters to anyone in need of house painting/wallpaper removal.

Justice was very prompt at responding to my request for an estimate. Justice gave advice on paint colors and finishes for walls, ceilings, trim, etc. His price was very competitive. The project took approximately 4 days to complete. He and his crew showed up on time, moved/covered/protected furniture, and cleaned up at the end of each day. When the job was completed, we noticed some irregularities in the color on the ceiling in one of the rooms. They showed up the next day and took care of it. We are really happy that we chose Freedom Painters and will be using them again.

How smart was I to hire Justice Weingart and his company, Freedom Painters, to paint the interior of my house! From my initial meeting with Justice and throughout the entire project, Justice provided excellent customer service, was thorough in his assessment of the painting and delivered an excellent work product. Justice and his crew painted the entire interior of my house, i.e., ceilings, walls, trim, doors, etc. I could not be more pleased with the outcome! The crew arrived promptly every day and worked diligently. This was a big job and had the potential to be very messy, but they were clean and meticulous. Justice was patient as I asked questions, and even more patient and accommodating when I realized that I was not happy with one of the colors that I chose and asked the guys to repaint my master bedroom, and when I asked for a different sheen on the trim and crown molding. Justice and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, dependable, responsive, pride themselves on customer service, and most importantly, do excellent work. In fact, I have already contacted Justice for another project. Freedom Painters will always be my painting contractor and I will, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a painting contractor.

Justice was very responsive from start to finish and stayed in close communication with us. He came to do the estimate and got the written estimate to me within a day. He was able to start the job a bit more quickly than he'd originally said and so the whole job was completed quickly. Quality of the work was excellent. The price he quoted was the price we paid -- no cost overruns. He and his crew took excellent care to cover/mask before painting and to clean up afterwards. I definitely recommend him.

It was okay. They didn't do as instructed. When they initially came out, I told them that I wanted the master completed. They did everything but the master. They called me and told me that they needed more hours to do the master. I told them that they could leave and I hired another painter to come in and finish the master. I called them to do the ceilings. They did the other two rooms and then called expecting more to be paid to finish the master. They were instructed to do the master. They started in the master but for some reason, they waited to do the master when they finished. They did a good job. I wasn't there.

Once communication became on one page, work was done excellently and professionally. They had to repair my ceiling to the bedroom prior to painting and that was done great!! Justice is always available and all his crew members are very polite. The work looks fabulous excellent. I would recommend.

Justice and his crew are polite and nice to work with. Responded promptly to the request for service. The bid was accepted and the work started and completed in a timely fashion. For the most part the workers did a great job. The workers did a fantastic job removing the wallpaper, sanding and prepping the walls for paint. However, I felt like the was needed a 2nd coat of paint and they did not use the finish that I requested. I requested satan or eggshell and they used flat paint. I think if they would have purchased the paint with the primer in it it would have resolved the need for a second coat. Justice did agree to come out to touch up the walls, but I thought that they need an entire second coat not a tough up. I ended up doing the second coat myself to save time and to get the finish that I wanted. Justice did take some money of the total cost. Overall I was please would the job. I would have given them an A instead of a B if they did second coat as stated and used the proper finish.

This is the fourth time I have used Freedom Painters and possibly my best experience. The company has grown greatly since my first project (4 years ago in a different house). I trust that Justice (the owner) stands behind his work. They are honest and flexible. This project was pushed back due to tile and counter installation and Justice just told me to keep him informed of the completion date and his crew would start when that work was completed. Oscar and Abel were the guys that performed the work - per Justice's instructions. They were very respectful and clearly took pride in their work. The project took about three days to complete. Each night they made sure to straighten up and neatly store their supplies for the next day (this was an area that wasn't as successful during my last project). They took precaution and protected surfaces from paint splatter- which was impressive because the carpet on the stairs is cream color and the newly painted wall going up the stairs is a burgundy color. During those three days Justice kept in touch via email to make sure I was happy with the project - by the time I got home from work each night they were already cleaned up and gone. I'm already thinking of my next painting project with Freedom Painters.

I am renovating my kitchen, and the walls need some drywall repair from tearing out a partial wall, some other holes from taking out cabinets. He also closed off a doorway with drywall, and installed drywall on the ceiling. The drywall repairs were very smooth and showed no flaws after priming. Justice was very communicative, and showed up when he said he would, and communicated any changes of schedule, etc. I got several prices, and he was competitive.

Excellent! The painter painted 3 rooms of moldings including crown and all door and window trim . He was neat clean and efficient. The job was completed in one day and was completely cleaned up after the job.

There were some scheduling and communication issues initially however once those were resolved, the work was completed professionally and for a reasonable price. I'd use Freedom Painters in the future and would recommend them to others.

It has been a long road from my 2014 ice dam, flood, and the can of worms that Valentine's weekend winter storm opened up for me. I found Freedom Painters on Angie's List, because of the Super Service Award, and no one deserves it more than them. This is the third painting job for me since then. Thank you for helping me put my home back together, for the seamless repairs, repainting and upgrades. Justice and the team's most recent job was outstanding. Priming and painting of six new windows, inside and out, plus all the exterior trim. The crew also did repairs to unsightly gaps where new windows were installed. The repairs & touch ups with the walls are invisible. And just to make it clear, the lengthy timeline on all this work was mine: Freedom Painters will get your job done in a flash, and worry free. The thing I like most is that Justice works closely with his team, and follows up SAME DAY on any job he did not personally supervise. Everything was always left very clean. The painting is carefully and professionally done.

I experienced a very quick response from the owner, Justice, to evaluate my job and price it out. This was an estimated 6 day job and the workers arrived on time each day and worked diligently and efficiently each day. I elected to try to get this job done just before Christmas and the Freedom Painters team agreed to extend work on a Saturday to get it done in time for me to get ready for Christmas company. I could not have been more pleased with the results. Everything was done on time and to perfection even when I changed a wall color in the middle of the job. They finished with an inspection ,touch up and then thoroughly cleaned up the house. Our team leader was Jose and we highly respect his work and dedication to doing a good job. We look forward to having him back again. Freedom Painters price is on the high side but is well worth it. We intend to get back on their busy schedule next year to continue our painting and restoration project.

Justice was very responsive to my initial inquiry and came out to give an estimate. He was the most attentive and comprehensive of the vendors I contacted AND provided the best quote. He showed up slightly late on day one was apologetic and it was not a big deal at all. He and his associate did a great job of covering all of the surrounding areas with plastic sheeting to prevent dust from making a mess everywhere. We are also a 'no-shoe' house and they were great about wearing booties and covering the floors and stairs with dropcloths as well. The repair and repainting went well but Justice noticed a little bubbling along one of the seams as they were getting ready to leave. I may not have even noticed but Justice was happy to send another associate the next day to redo and repaint that part. Overall we were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our dealings with Justice and Freedom Painters and will definitely use them again.

Working with Justice was a pleasure. Even though it was a small job, Justice was very professional and committed to providing nothing less than an excellent service. Communication was prompt and often. Justice provided me with updates on the job progress through completion. This was very important to me as the job was in a vacant rental property and I was not there on a daily basis to see the work progress. The work was done quickly and professionally. I will keep Freedom Painters in mind for any future projects requiring their skills.
