Van Go! Painting

He's very trustworthy. I don't feel uncomfortable with him in the house while we’re not there. He's excellent about covering furniture and stuff, and making sure dust do not get everywhere. He completely covered up our nice antiques, and cleaned up after himself. He didn't leave any mess. His prices are more than fair. He comes when he say he will.

Friendly but hard to reach, they need to let people know they are busy.... very frustrating!

The rooms look beautiful. They look the time to prep the walls properly, so the finished work is excellent. I had one room that needed a lot of spackle work and sanding, and it turned out perfectly. They recommend and use top quality paint products.

Grea! I have used lots of painters but this group really spent some time to prep the surfaces correctly so the finished work looks beautiful. This was a small job but I will definitely call them again for other projects.

This was a 3-week project and it was a success. The owner and the other two painters were organized and detailed in their painting. I appreciated them cleaning up their work at the end of the days. They made it as least disruptive as possible. Twice I had personally chosen colors that I didn't end up liking. When I changed the paint colors and asked for the walls to be repainted, they took the requests in stride positively. As Jon, the owner, said, "You should like the color. Go pick another color." At the end of the project, and even months later, we walk into our house and say "Thank you! The house looks great!!"

Nick was ver responsive from the beginning. He came out quickly to give an estimate and had great suggestions on how to deal with wallpaper in a large foyer. We scheduled the work easily. Nick got the job done in the time he said and the quality is excellent. We are very happy with the work.

We did not work together but Van Go! Painting acted professionally and promptly throughout our dealings. Unfortunately, Angie's List's automated system misunderstood a comment and gave the company a low, and extremely unfair and untrue, rating. My communication with the owner of Van Go! Painting was the only contact we had but I have only positive things to say about him.

Really well. So appreciate that he comes in with the right professional equipment. His electric vacuum sander kept that part of the job very clean and efficient compared to the old fashioned way, and there was a lot of sanding to do in this one room. Those yukky walls look perfect now. Nick did a great job with painting straight lines and not getting paint on the natural wood trim and ceiling. And gave such helpful advice when it came to choosing color. He knows his business. Very professional, fair with the pricing, good communicator, and very pleasant to work with. Highly recommended.

Great job. I am very particular and I really appreciate how very neatly and nicely all the prep and painting was done in a room that had a lot of issues. Nick is both friendly and professional, and really knows his stuff.

I thought he got a lot done and was very professional. He worked a total of 4 or 5 days and gave us a discounted rate for the additional days. He is very well equiped and does excellent prepping so the finished product is excellent.

The living room was labor intensive; requiring 3 brushed coats of paint which took 3 full days to complete. The fourth day the stairwell and hallway were repaired and painted, completing the entire project. Throughout this whole process Nick and his workers were on time, and always friendly and considerate of our home. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend to anyone in need of their services.

Overall a very good experience. Had to make a couple attempts to verify service. But I was the first to use this online service with Van Go! which was the reason for his delayed response. He did a solid job in a tough space to paint. Would recommend him and will most likely use him again for a future project.

I had special request as to where they would be painting a certain times. I have dogs and they needed the back yard at different times. And they always kept the gate closed. At my request they would call me, rather than knock on the door to keep my dogs from going crazy. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would ALWAYS use them for my painting jobs.

Nicks crew set up and started the beginning of Sept. We knew it would take a while to complete because our house was in very bad shape. We trusted Nicks judgement when we werent sure about color or what to paint. he was right on every decision. They were extremely professional, and perfectionists, and also a lot of fun to work with. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Once the color started going up, the house started coming back to life! It looks absolutely beautiful now! We are so happy with the way it came out, and would definitely use them again!

Nick at Van Go painted the entire exterior of our house for a great price. He was responsive to our calls/emails and was prompt on the date of the work. They cleaned up afterwards very well. They even came a day ahead of time to paint a small section with our paint selection to make sure we liked it, and to verify the number of coats required. Over all a great experience with a contractor.

I had excellent service from them. I like the performance he did and their punctuality. He cleaned up after he got done.

Goal was to brighten up our kitchen by painting the double-sized island a lighter color. We had a couple of painters give ridiculous estimates based on the fact that the cabinetry is very detailed and going from dark to light is apparently more difficult than going from light to dark. Nick was recommended to us by the local Benjamin Moore paint store and did not disappoint! He came out for an estimate and didn't seem at all intimidated by the obstacles at hand. He assured us the finished look would meet our particular expectations (which were very high as the island is a major focal point in the kitchen). When he explained the process we believed that we could trust him to do the job correctly. The estimate for the amount of work involved was very fair. The whole process went smoothly (exactly as Nick had explained) and we are very pleased with the final results. Nick was a pleasure to have in our home. Very professional, respectful, punctual and trustworthy. Would definitely use him again for other painting projects. He proved himself to be a very experienced painter who knows what he is talking about and can deliver on what he promises.

Van Go painting responded immediately to the initial call, set up a time to see the job, came back quickly with a quote and then set up a date to paint. The work was exceptional as was clean up. We would use them again.

The work was done quickly and very well. We got more than we paid for.
