+ -1 moreSteele came out on the day and time he promised, did the work very well as described in my review, cleaned up and left the property in good condition. Great job.
Description of Work: I have had a total of 3 trees removed and one trimmed at various times by Steele Tree Service, and I have had excellent results and service. The latest work was done on 8/3/11 when he took down a dead Ash tree that was in bad shape an in a bad location, very close to my garden shed and my neighbor's pool. He removed the tree without damaging my shed or my neighbor's pool and cleaned up all debris on completion. He was asked to leave the firewood and he moved the pieces out of the yard so that they were not in the way. On a previous job, a couple years ago, my Red Maple tree had developed a crack down the center between two large trunks, and was in real danger of falling on my house. I called Steele and he came out quickly and removed the tree the following day. His charge for that work was $450, and again he did a great job. I asked that the wood be removed on this job and he did as asked. On all the jobs his bid was the lowest I received and I got at least 3 on each project. From my experiences I can recommend him without reservation.

+ -1 moreThis time he took down a dogwood tree and raised the canopy on our large maple tree out back. This time we had him give us an estimate while he was providing one to our neighbor. He came when he said he would and did a beautiful job. He cleaned up after himself. Obviously our previous work by him was also done equally well. We actually got his name from our neighbors.
