Description of Work: We hired Nickett to install a new patio and front walkway. They were extremely knowledgeable and had many options to choose from. They were responsive, on time and the guys who did the work were extremely professional. They went above and beyond, and we hired them this summer to do some lawn work!

Description of Work: We had a drainage issue in the back of our property due to underground springs. I called Nickett Landscaping around 8PM expecting to leave a Voice Mail and instead actually spoke with the owner, Scott. He immediately put me in touch with his scheduling team and I was given an appointment. Couldn't believe they worked so late. Scott came out to look at the property and provided us with his recommendation. Within 2 weeks of my initial phone call, his team completed the job. Everyone was courteous, professional and extremely neat. Our property was so wet that the mud in some areas would cover your feet. I couldn't believe that our property looked so good after they completed the job. It's a month later and the excess water we had is flowing through the drainage pipes and we can walk on our property again. Great job!

+ -1 moreDid a nice job installing the drain but in the process broke a sprinkler line. When I asked how they would take care of it they said in the contract it states that if they break anything it's not their fault. They never told me I needed to get the water lines marked before the job. They did at the end of the day come out and fix the damage water line.
Description of Work: Installed a drain in the front lawn. Needed to connect the gutter to the drain so water would flow into yard.

+ -1 moreI had three different estimates that were all close on price. Scott Nickett seemed the most knowledgeable offering many technical details and suggestions. He explained exactly how the job would be done which made me feel confident. Scott emphasized the importance of running the drain to the curb as opposed to letting it drain in the middle of the lawn. This would only transfer the problem from one area to another. I pay a professional landscaper to maintain my lawn. I was concerned that after all this digging the grass would be ruined. I had a home generator installed and the electricians destroyed the grass running the underground electrical lines. After the job was completed by Nickett the grass was perfect, you couldn't even tell it was disturbed. Nickett did a totally professional job that corrected my drainage issues. The workmen arrived on time and completed the job exactly as described. I referred Nickett to my neighbor who was also pleased with the quality of their work. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Due to the pitch of my rear yard the water drainage centered around a 15 foot section of my fence weakening the posts. Also the roof drain exited into this same area creating a small lake. Nickett did a hand dig out along the entire fence line using a 4" C-pattern pipe covered with crushed stone to aide drainage. The roof drain was now directly connected to this. Then from the fence to the street (approx 40 ft) a 4" solid, black flexible PVC pipe was used. This area was trenched by machine then they hand dig under the sidewalk to the curb & street. Four PVC drains with joints and connectors were used. A second 4" PVC pipe was attached to the front roof drain to eliminate water pooling in the driveway. Again they had to hand dig a 12 ft section and connect a drain. Once completed they had to back fill the trench, tamp and reinstall saved sod.

+ -1 moreIn the back of the house, they resolved most of the water problems. By tying in the rear roof of my house, they created a new problem where the water exited onto my lawn, making this area a swamp when ever it rained. Hence they solved one problem, but in doing so, created a worse one. I have attempted to contact them multiple times by leaving messages with their office to call me back and arrange a meeting to discuss in person. There only response has been to send me additional estimates by email to do more work, without taking the time to talk to me. Given this poor customer follow up, I would not recommend them.
Description of Work: I hired Nicket Landscaping at the recommendation of a neighbor to help resolve water issues in my back yard and on the side of my house. In the back, they added additional drainage, tying into an already existing system. This resolved most of the water issues in the back of my house. On the side of the house they designed and build a new drainage system. tying in the gutters from the rear roof.
