The owners son responded the following day or so. Attempted to make me feel at ease responded to all my questions with "no worries". Well I worried with good reason. He was "finished" too soon. He showed me a "leak" in the lower portion of my Aprilaire flexible line; said he would be back shortly that he did not have the "part" that I believed was relatively common for a HVAC contractor or a plummer to have with them. Furthermore, I did not believe this "part" was the cause of the problem. Its the part you would use to hook up an ice maker to a 1/2" copper line. But ok I did not want to insult the young man. I am a disabled finish carpenter/furniture builder and been a GC on a few remoldeling projects in Bucks county so I am no dummy when it comes to this stuff. To make this story shorter I went to use my AC because it was hot in my home. It continued to get hotter and hotter in my unit. I called Dtown Air stated problem, they reached "John" and said he would be here shortly to "shut the system down". Which I obviously already had done. Another young man showed up about 2 hours later and removed "clamps" off of my HVAC unit that the installer had forgotten to remove. I cannot rec all who had informed me that the part I needed they could not get and had to order it. Mind you again its a common plumbing part but wait this gets better. I get a call the following day canceling the 2nd service call because they do not have this part still. I swallow this BS softly. Days later the owner/father calls to cancel service call that we specifically requested Dylan for because he is the one my roommate met in Patriots Ridge. Well the owner/father called and canceled that service call telling us "the part came in damaged". This company lies to its customers! Today is Saturday Dec 5th that I am writing this and this fiasco started weeks ago. I am still waiting for service call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. INSTALLER WAS INEPT AND THE OWNER OF DOYLESTOWN AIR IS A LIAR!!!! PERIOD. A DUCA/P NICOLOSI

Existing York AC unit was 24-years old, used environmentally unfriendly R22 Freon refrigerant, and ran inefficiently compared to today's systems. The unit was running OK but I decided for the reasons stated above that I wanted to replace it while I had control before it eventually broke down. I did a lot of research on-line to educate myself about the latest AC technologies, makes/models and the contractors who installed them. I received four (4) quotes for my AC replacement, eventually choosing Doylestown Air. While their very competitive pricing was a factor, I was also impressed with their responsiveness. Let me explain: I had submitted my request for proposal to Doylestown Air on September 11; Dick Laphen of Doylestown Air visited my home the morning of Sept. 12; I received his written proposal via e-mail that very afternoon; on Sept. 13, I contacted Doylestown Air via e-mail requesting clarification on a few points in the proposal and within 2 hours I received a well-thought out written response satisfying my concerns. I immediately placed an order with them that day for the AC system and on September 20 it was installed - less than 10 days after first contacting them! On the morning of Sept. 20, the installation team (Kevin and Sean, and later Dylan) arrived on-time and after putting on their protective "booties" and laying down protective tarps they began the installation. About five (5) hours later they were finished with no disruption to us at all. All components of the old York unit as well as all installation debris were taken away. The team exercised respect for our property in all ways. Before leaving, Kevin explained the operation of the new unit, dropped off product booklets, explained the warranty (10 years parts; 2 years labor) and how product registration worked. I am completely satisfied how this installation went and would highly recommend Doylestown Air for your heating and air conditioning needs.

Dillon from Doylestown Air was very knowledgeable and explained what he was looking at and how things worked through every step of the process. He diagnosed an issue with my condensate pump which was faulty and running constantly -- he was able to replace it on the spot and diagnosed that my A/C was low on refrigerant which was also promptly addressed. Spent time carefully inspecting and cleaning the outside A/C coils and had all the needed equipment with him on the truck. Great job, would use again.

Very well. Their quote was over $1k less than another service provider (who was also professional). The system is working well and my wife was impressed with their professionalism during the installation.

It was a pleasure dealing with them. The entire staff, including the office staff were professional and pleasant. They showed up on time and finished the job neatly and professionally. Quotes were provided and could not be beat. Can't say enough!

I?ve used Doylestown Air for repairs and maintenance visits in the past and I was always very happy with their service. The last time they came out for maintenance the tech advised me that my system could be repaired and gave me a price, but that I would probably want to replace the system. I asked for a quote on a new one and they sent one via email shortly after. I didn?t get a new system and a few months after that sure enough, my system did fail. At this point I called a few companies for quotes, some terrible, some very good. I asked Doylestown Air for another quote and they sent me some options via email quickly. After reviewing my options (one company that came out was 10k higher and excelled in high-pressure sales) I decided to go with an option that Doylestown Air provided me with. We scheduled a date to install and they came out promptly just as promised. All the techs were very polite and got to work right away. The job took most of the day but when they were finished they left my basement and yard exactly as they found it. I?m not sure I could be any happier with the service or the equipment. Doylestown Air will always have my business.

The work was excellent. The system was put in on one day and was up and running. The house is comfortable as can be! They came back on a second day to do the basement duct work and it looks great. The owner and his workers were very knowledgable. His team lead had recently received professional training on the installation of this type of system. I would highly recommend Doylestown Air for your heating and cooling needs!

My furnace was coming on but not heating up. I had another company come and check out the unit. I knew what was wrong with it but the other company tried to rip me off so I had Doylestown air come in. They got right to the point, diaognosed the problem correctly and gave me a fair price. They were very professional, honest and very easy to talk to. Most importantly they told me the truth and did their job in a timely maner. There are alot of companies out there that will rip you off, charge you sky high prices on cheap parts and lie to right to your face. Doylestown Air is a great company. They have a new customer!!

Went well. Installation completed same day. Installers were professional and courteous; took time to explain use of new thermostat and answered all of my questions. All old materials were removed and area was left neat and clean.

From the estimate to the work that was done this company came through Not only was their bid the least expensive by more than $1000. with one company and $1600 less from anothe .(same size units , although different manufacturers ) they listened to exactly what I wanted/needed. The work was done in a timely manner. The price was all inclusive from a new pad for the outside unit and wiring. Unlike one estimate that seemed to be ala carte. I was very pleased with the work that was done. I would recommend them to friends and family.

We spent somewhere between $5000 and $7000. Our experience with them was excellent. They were in and out and looked through and we needed a new controller on the wall. They said to sit tight on that, until they had the other unit replaced and they could have it all done at one time. They were helpful and efficient. We did not do much price comparison because we use them exclusively, but we thought that the price was competitive.
