Chris Orser has been mowing and applying weed and feed to my yard for almost ten years. His crews do a consistently excellent job in mowing the yard and they must continually be sharpening their mower blades because the cut is always clean and the rows straight. I find Chris' prices to be very fair and I recommend him highly.

I needed a new chimney liner. They came in, cleaned out previous remains of terra cotta and installed a new liner within 3-4 hours. Cleaned up well as there was barely any proof that they'd been there

My experience with Chris Orser Landscaping in the purchase of a cord of firewood was outstanding! I was trying to find a reliable company for the purchase a cord of firewood, and completed an "Order Firewood" form field on Chris' website around 9:00 pm. Chris sent me an email the next morning at about 5:00 am, saying they would deliver the wood THAT DAY!!! We corresponded several times over the course of the morning, and Chris called me when his driver was en route to our house. While there was a bit of confusion about where the wood was eventually dropped off versus where I wanted it, it was primarily because I was unprepared: never having purchased that amount of wood before, I didn't have a realistic idea of how much wood it would actually be, and how much space would be required; and because Chris had responded so quickly, I couldn't be at home for the delivery. Those are minor details, however, because the wood is of outstanding quality, burns well...and there's A LOT of it! Having read numerous reviews of wood being delivered that was short of a cord, I was relieved to watch Chris' video on his website, where he explained how his company ensures the delivery of a full cord (or half cord), and am completely confident that the amount of wood I received was everything it was supposed to be. I did send Chris a brief email, asking about where the wood had been placed versus where he and I had talked about it being, and to my surprise, he called me back almost immediately! We discussed the delivery, and my expectations, and I was completely satisfied with not only the resolution, but with his commitment to customer service and responsiveness. I am confident we'll be using Chris for future work!

They are efficient, courteous, or punctual.

Chris was contacted to provide a landscape design for my home as he was highly favored on Angie's list. His initial response was excellent, and we met to discuss the project at my home. During our visit he repeatably asked if I had ever worked with a landscaping professional. We walked the property and I shared with him the areas that I would like him to consider providing a design. Since this initial visit, he has been 100 % unresponsive to inquiries on interest in the project discussed, or for next steps. I would not describe this experience as working with a "landscaping professional".

All went as forecast. Great job.

Fine. He did exactly what I asked him to do.

Chris regraded our front beds and rerouted a drain. He left a large depression in our front yard. He did not have any sense of urgency in correcting the problem. I eventually had to use another lawn service to correct the problem.

They were pretty punctual, so that was a good thing. They were fast. It was a last minute thing and they were able to do it very quickly. They were wonderfully helpful on the phone. They were very polite and helpful when they got here. The only thing that I wish we had known more specifically was we thought the wood had been seasoned and it wasn't. It was pretty sappy so it took a while to start burning.

Chris showed up on the same day as I called. We decided on a price and a handshake. Called the day prior, came out and completed the work. A man of his word.

Wow! from email to delivery 4 hours! Price was accurate on the website, Follow up was great, delivery confirmed before arrival. Website had a great video describing the product, very accurate and a great reference. What a treat!

After two weeks of waiting for him to call us to set up a date to do this work, we had to call him. By magic, he could come and do it the next day. He had two workers with him. During this time, two neighbors came over to ask if Chris could do their lawns also. So as I looked out the window, one worker left our unfinished job and went to neighbors. Before they left, I went out to check the work, there were big clumps of dead grass all over. I had to use sign lanuage ( for they did not speak any english) to rake and big up all the areas they missed. Three weeks later, the grass has not come up. We did have alot of rain. But for sure, we should be seeing something by now.

I found this vender to be professional in every respect. I would recommend them.

Found Chris online when searching for firewood, his site has great video's for the method they use the assure quality. Emailed him expecting to hear back after the weekend. Chris was here in less than 2 hours. As a web savvy contractor, he was receiving his email on his mobile phone and was able to deliver a 1/2 a chord of firewood that afternoon. Great quality, fresh wood, clean and delivered, gotta love that. It wasn't a lot of money involved, but good service is still good service.

Chris first provided an estimate after looking at our property. My property has a problem with drainage and tends to be wet, so I asked him to come by when I noticed the leaves were mostly down and no rain was predicted for five days. We have a half acre property with a tree line across one long side, and white pine trees along another long side. He came as agreed with two crew, and did a through job of removing the leaves. Difficult parts were the pine needles and cones on one side of our yard, and wet leaves in another area. Chris went over the wet leaf area three times and removed most of them. Some deeply embedded pine needles remain. Chris also removed the leaves from the beds in a manner that left the mulch.

Very well, the crew was prompt, professional, efficient and the final product was excellent. The price was very reasonable, the landscaping team went above and beyond my expectations, I would highly recommend them.

I called and left a message explaining the work I was interested in getting. I received a return call the next day and a company representative was at my house the day after that. I received a written estimate within two days. I was impressed with the prompt and professional service.When I called to approve the work, I mentioned that I wanted the work done before the end of April and they showed up within two days of the phone conversation. The only problem was that I was not notified that they were coming and I was not home when they began to do the work. Since this was the first time using the company, I really wanted to be there. I called the office and the crew manager came to my house. My parents were at the house, however, and I ended up talking to the crew manager by phone. By the time I arrived home from work, they were almost finished. I asked them to reshape some bushes and they did. There was some miscommunication about the stones I wanted, but the company arrived the following day to do the work. Their customer service, knowledge and professionalism was greatly appreciated as a first time customer.

It went very well. Chris met me at a local nursery and helped me pick out the specimens and this was after a night of no sleep because of a family issue. He recommended this place because it was cheaper. He also allowed me to purchase another specimen at another nursery because the other nursery didn't have the tree I wanted. Once I got on his schedule the work was done right away. He called me at work to ask a few questions and made suggestions that actually saved me some money. I would definitely use Chris again and am seriously considering using him for my seasonal lawn treatment and cutting service instead of using two separate companies for spring and summer 2009.

His workman consistently do a good job. The grass is always neat and I will continue to use them.
