We initially hired BucksMont to pump out our septic system. We are new homeowners in the area and have never had septic before. When the excavated, they found that part of the system had deteriorated and that a previous homeowner had tried to fix it using cinder blocks. BucksMont repaired the system effectively with PVC pipe. The work was not inexpensive but was professionally done and avoided a much more expensive replacement of the entire system.

Brian (although polite) and Bucks-Mont Environmental are bold faced liars. They cite rules and regulations of "Pennsylvania Septage Management Association" Google that Agency; they do not even belong to or are active Company members. NEVER and I MEAN NEVER use Bucks-Mont for a 500 Gallon Hydro Test as they take your funds (Brian writes the invoice on property site, collects payment, tell you they will email you a report, then do not show up the next 24 hour period to measure the wetness in the septic fields, then fail your septic), only to offer to install a new $40,000.00 system. And, his father who answers the phone in the office when you call is clueless to this and is rude and condescending when questioned about their tactics and why you never came back for second day reading? I hired Gary's Septic for a second opinion who does NOT install systems and received their unbiased report. I then hired FRANC Environmental and they charged me $700.00 to repair 5 end caps in the D-Box. So I never needed a new system at all. I got taken by Bucks-Mont for over $1,500.00. Brian was the only worker who inspected, dug and conducted the test....DO NOT HIRE THEM!

They did a great job, arrived on time and were very courteous.

Easy to schedule with a responsive staff to questions. Scheduled within a few days to accomidate my schedule of wnating to be the to ask questions. The team (two men) who showed up were responsive and efficient. I had a chance to ask all of my questions and have them answered learning more about my septic system in the process.

They were punctual and friendly. They informed me that I had cracks and holes in my tank. We spoke about future service. They were professional guys, thanks again

Ok job pumping septic (expensive I found out 5-1-14) when I had to have a new pump installed on 5-1-2011- 3 years after having a pump installed by BucksMont ( $2,010 for new pump with with a pump-out in 2011) I learned that the new guys in town performed poorly in 2011. Hopefully the installers have learned wiring and piping connection. I was disappointed in their response to my recent septic query and totally disgusted in their inflated prices. I was quoted $2,000 to jet my lines! Totally outrageous!

Can't review how their work is because I have called the phone number listed for our area on the website 2x over the past 2 weeks. Both times I have spoken to a very nice gentleman who says he has to give my information to the person who takes care of my area - phone number listed is the number listed for my area - then I don't hear back from them. If they aren't interested in coming as far as our area then our town shouldn't be listed on their site and they should tell me outright on the phone instead of saying my number was passed to someone else and I just don't know why they don't call back. This had the potential to be a big job for them.

I called one day to get a cost estimate to get my septic tank pumped and had the work performed the following morning. Everything went well and I would use them again.

Second time we have used Bucksmont for our septic system maintenance, and have been very happy with the service. Especially the very quick response time. They have arrived at the house within a few hours of our calls.

Background: As of 2001, Doylestown Township enacted a septage management program in which all on-lot septic systems and water wells must have their septic tanks pumped and inspected and have the well water tested every three years. This is my year and December 31st is the deadline. I spent Sunday afternoon (yesterday) doing some research online looking for a new septic service company to inspect/pump my system. I called BucksMont Environmental after seeing how many glowing reviews they had received. I figured I would try calling them, even though it was Sunday, to see if I could schedule an appointment to evaluate my system. As I expected, I got an answering machine, so I left a quick message. To my surprise, within a few minutes I received a call back from Skip, the owner. I told him that it was not an emergency situation and that I only wanted to schedule the pumping and inspection. He was very friendly and informative and spent a good deal of time explaining everything to me. He told me that Brian, one of his most experienced servicemen, was going to be in my area on Monday, and that he would call him to see if he would be able to come over in the morning. Brian called me back about two hours later and said that he would be able be here at 6:45am Monday morning (today). He and helper Chris arrived at 6:35am this morning. With flashlight in hand, he started checking out my system. Brian was just as friendly and informative as Skip. I showed him the pump tank which is in very poor condition and after removing the lid, the inevitable became apparent. After 34 years, the old concrete tank has succumbed to the corrosive sewer gases and the concrete is crumbling beyond repair. He told me that a new tank would have to be ordered since they don't keep them in stock and that it would take a week or so. So, I figured that was it for the day, but no, Brian said they could get right to work and do as much as they could today, except for the tank replacement. By 9:15am, the tank was pumped and inspected and a new effluent pump was installed (temporarily) in the dosage tank (along with new plumbing, wiring and float). At that point, they left and then returned an hour later with a compact power shovel and the tanker truck and the Hydro-Jet machine. I watched the whole process while Brian patiently explained everything they were doing. I took the opportunity to try out my new camera and took lots of photos of the whole operation. Brian assured me that it didn't bother him and, in fact, he appreciated customers who took an interest in the process. By 12:10pm, they were done for the day. Once the tank arrives, they'll be back to install it. I was very impressed by how meticulous, thorough and efficient the process was and how professional and courteous Brian and Chris were. So, in less than 24 hours from my initial phone call (on a Sunday), all the aforementioned work was completed. I will write a second review, once the new dosage tank is installed, but after seeing them work, I have faith that it will be done just as satisfactorily as the first phase of the job.

All other providers in the area wouldn't even attempt it, saying the lot had too many trees, too many rocks, too steep, too many problems. This was a stressful situation since if no successful design were possible we would not have bought the house. In addition, Rob really hustled to get needed permits in time for closing, and also oversaw all the required tests. He is highly regarded by all the local realtors. He was attentive and very helpful, carefully and cheerfully explaining all the details and providing reference materials for our choices. We really liked him.( I should say I am not sure of the actual cost of service, as this was paid by the seller of the home, who was on the west coast.) A real can-do guy.

I called on Sunday and requested service on Monday. Received a phone call in the morning and they were at my house by 10:30. Services were performed quickly and pleasantly. The driver explained that our house has a cesspool and gave suggestions for ongoing maintenance to prevent future problems. Best of all, they were very careful around the plants near the clean-out entrance! Will definitely use them again in 3 to 5 years.
