Anthony & Sylvan Pools

We had a great experience from the start with Rob who helped us design the pool. He was very realistic with options and pricing, understood our budget and did not try to oversell us on items that we didn't need. The construction process moved along well and once it was time to start using our pool, Rich was tremendously helpful with instructions and follow up questions. Our township inspector said that Anthony & Sylvan is the best pool company to work with and we agree!

Working with the Anthony & Sylvan team was great. Everyone was very helpful and informative from planning through construction and to completion. My A&S team still remains helpful as I manage my new pool which is more than I could have expected. My neighbors cant stop telling us how beautiful our pool looks and I'd recommend A&S's workmanship to anyone who asks.

From start to finish, the quality of work was impressive from Anthony Sylvan! I learned so much along the way from expert advice from Frank, my project manager to efficient scheduling from James and Shavonne. The oversight from JR Goldberg on the management team was exemplary. We are having a blast in our new pool and I credit a totally professional company for helping us get there!

Anthony Sylvan has an excellent Customer Service and Warranty staff as well as knowledgeable technicians. The spa required repair which was approved under warranty. Kenny their Tech did the work and it looks like new. He was professional, friendly and knew exactly what to do . Further, to add to my previous reviews Anthony Sylvan has serviced our pool for 13 years and I would highly recommended them . Their Sales , Installation crew and Service staff are dependable and easy to work with. Ben takes care of our pool , opening and closing annually , replacing parts occasionally and does a terrific job. Thats another positive aspect, you get to know the staff.

Reviewed various options and pricing. Salesman was professional and knowledgeable. I'm excited about the possibilities.

Overall, it was an incredible experience. Communication was impeccable and the quality is out of this world. Jarrod (sales consultant) was helpful and patient through design and township permitting and fair in the negotiation. Gary (our PM) was always responsive and involved in ensuring our questions were answered and we were comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Great! Pool was cleaned, chemicals added. They also provided a box of DE and installed a chlorinator.

Flawless. Everything went smoothly.

Overall great. We did have a few items that needed to be corrected but they are very responsive in getting these thing done.

Anthony & Sylvan was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We honestly couldn't be happier with the quality of work performed. They explained the scope of each step and provided very accurate timing of each phase. Our Design Consultant (Luke) and Project Manager (Alex) were a pleasure to work with and this made our job easier...just sit back and relax while our dream pool is built! We asked a lot of them this year...to build a pool in the middle of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic...and they delivered! On top of that, each sub contractor team (excavation, steel & concrete, tile & coping, patio pour & hardscaping, fence, plaster, etc.) were absolute masters at their craft. The work each team performed is beautiful and their professionalism was top notch. They worked very hard to get each project phase complete, and we're so happy and appreciative. I would recommend Anthony & Sylvan to anyone looking for a pool.

Due to the pandemic our start date was delayed from mid April to mid May & finished early June.

It was fine and everything was handled completely.

Everyone from Tom, our sales man to the entire construction crew were, informative, courteous, and clear about the process. Workman were punctual and left my property clean and orderly. I would highly recommend Anthony Sylvan to anyone build is looking to build or renovate a pool. You will not be disappointed.

The project went much better than I was expecting. We signed the contract to renovate the pool (that had been sitting unused for 2+ years) in the fall of 2019. Picked out the tile and coping and A&S said they would begin in March. They did. They did a beautiful job on every aspect that I can tell and they did it all without going over budget and were finished in ~4 days. I would strongly recommend them if you are considering a pool renovation.

It was outstanding, from the original estimating to the finish product. Very efficient, great communication, workers were outstanding and finish product is perfect.

I originally built with Anthony Pools 25 years ago. After 25 years it was time to redo the plaster on the pool. Everyone was awesome. From the renovation specialist, to the crews that actually did the work. I couldn't be more happy! My plastering job is baby skin smooth and everyone loves swimming in it!

After 15 years, we decided to resurface the pool and spa. Selected an ansylbrite finish. Love the darker blue color (Cobalt). Work was done quickly and professionally. The crew kept the worksite clean. Price was comparable to other providers, but since Anthony and Sylvan built my pool, I trusted them to refinish it. If doing again, I would not hesitate to use A&S.

It went very well from demolition to the end product. It looks like a brand new pool that is over 60 yrs old.

They did a great job. They arrived early, explained the process and got it done.

We used Anthony Sylvan for our pool remodel project in 2016, everything seemed to be satisfactory. We developed deterioration of the pool finish within the warranty period which was pointed out to a company representative. We were told to close the pool due to end of season and warranty would be honored and pool would be looked at in spring when easier to evaluate with water level lower. What a mistake and change in their point of view when finally able to contact someone this year. Now they state the pool is out of warranty and the claim is closed. You want to talk about Jekyll and Hyde scenario, we went on good faith that this would be handled like gentlemen. I guess we couldn't be more wrong, now it is the big corporate mentality of take it or see you in court. Guess what, we will see them in court. I would not recommend Anthony Sylvan to build me anything; it is all well and good for them to take your money and then not stand behind the work of the contractors they use. Two thumbs down for sure!!

Sylvan did a most professional job on a 27 year old pool. Pool looked brand new when finished... what mire can I say😊

We were very pleased with the service we received from Anthony & Sylvan Pools. Everyone from the initial salesman, to the final plasterer's were helpful, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The work was completed when we expected it to be and turned out exactly as we had planned. All of our options were explained up front, and we never felt any pressure to purchase things we did not feel we needed. The demolition crew and the plasterers were very careful to respect our property, cleaned up after they were finished working, and did not cause any damage to the surrounding lawn. The payment plan was clearly stated in the beginning, no hidden fees, and Anthony Sylvan made it easy to pay online. (They also offered traditional forms of payment if we had preferred). We had our pool installed in 1994 and were worried about what a huge undertaking a refurbish would be. Anthony Sylvan put our fears to rest and gave us a beautifully finished pol with no hassle. I would highly recommend their service.

All went very well, from our first appointment to see what needed to be done to the work being completed. We appreciated the guidance from the renovation specialist in picking the tile choices and colors. The price was negotiated and we considered the amount fair. The work was completed promptly and the job was excellent. The crew that was contracted by Anthony Sylvan were wonderful to work with. They worked extremely hard and even into the late evening for two days to finish. We have been clients of Anthony Sylvan for 20 years and will continue to use them from openings/closings, service calls, and renovations.

The people showed up on time. They were very happy and answered any questions I had so I could understand what they were doing. The were very precise in all the work being done. They helped to explain what can be done to make everything last a long time and what things to watch out for. They were very friendly but overly so. When they were finished they cleaned up as if they were never here. Great job!

Probably the worst it could possibly go. At this rate we will most likely need to have the entire in ground pool installed by A&S removed and completed by another company as every single item completed is either damaged, leaking or not finished. Not only is pool junk but during construction they damaged my property and now refuse to repair. In my opinion, they cut every corner and used the most inexperienced subs they could find. Even electrical, which is pretty important, especially around a pool was not done to code and again refuse to correct. We were forced to hire another electrician to redo as the safety of my family was a concern. They could not care to even look into. Stay away. Use any other company. Really. Big name means nothing. There is a reason they want to get paid upfront as they know you won’t pay after you see the work they do.
