They did an outstanding job and they were significantly cheaper than the other two quotes I had gotten. Mike was the salesman and was excellent as well. They were very professional and I couldn't be more impressed. They used 5 different crews through out the process and they were all top notch. I work in construction so my expectations are high. They didn't let me down and I would highly recommend them.

It went very well. They were always prompt with scheduling and making sure we knew who the point of contact was for every step of the process. The designer, Don, did a great job with helping us with the design of the pool that was best for our property. Dennis, our site manager, who managed all of the construction, was great and always on top of everything. We felt this company had the best feedback out of all the companies we looked at and I can say that my own personal experience with them was 100% positive. They were great to work with and did a great job.

They have been excellent and are very polite and respectful. They always ask for permission before doing anything that is outside of the general routine. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

Not at all. We made appointment for them to come out on a Saturday. The called to Re-schedule for Sunday, which was understandable; however, they never showed up and never called. We had to call, knowing they would be closed, to leave message asking what happened for no-show, and their voice mail was full. We were left with perception that either they don’t retrieve messages timely or they have so many issues for folks to have to call. Either way, we called to give them feedback the following day that they lost a customer before we met anyone. Not the customer experience I was expecting, sad to say!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE, BAR NONE. STILL WAITING FOR JOB COMPLETION! The salesman did not mention that all phases of work are subcontracted out. The contract was written to pay for everything in full weeks (almost a month now) before services are rendered. The wrong handrails were ordered causing a safety issue in my pool that no one is in a hurry to rectify. The install group makes promises they do not keep, and operate on an “it is out of our hands, there’s nothing we can do” attitude. There is no sense of urgency to complete the job when they already have all of the money!!! The job was originally scheduled for the end of May. It is now almost July, with no end in sight. The only good is that the subcontractors do quality work. I hired this company based primarily on Angie’s list reviews. Will not do that again! My recommendation to anyone looking for pool work is to go directly through subcontractors. Save yourself time, money and a whole lot of grief!!

The job was all done by sub-contractors. A&S provided new decking, new coping, tile and plaster interior to my pool. They also recommended an additional skimmer. When the work commenced, the subcontractors removed a vinyl liner and coping around the existing pool to determine what was needed. No A&S employee was there to look at the pool shell which contained thick concrete walls around the pool. Each wall had a small space between which allows for movement when the seasons change. A&S did not see this so they had their sub-contractors plaster the interior of the pool. Although the pool looked great after completion, since the walls move every season and the interior plaster doesn't move, we get cracks every year since the pool was renovated. Every year that was covered under warranty, A&S sent out someone to repair the cracks. Many times they had me drain and fill the pool which costs thousands of dollars. Every year, the A&S people promised that this fix was a final solution, yet every year we still get the same cracks in the same locations. There was also an A&S employee who claimed to be an engineer who stated that if he had seen the pool shell, before the plastering, he would have doe it completely differently. Turns out, he is not an engineer and A&S states he never claimed to be an engineer. So now we are left with a very expensive yearly money pit: cracks that require significant water purchase, significant crack sealants and a pool that still leaks from 3-8 inches a day. A&S created the design flaw and they need to have someone who knows how, to fix their defective design. In addition, the skimmer that they installed was filled with concrete. They tried pouring acid to remove the concrete but it has not worked.

It was excellent. They were very easy to work with, they have all of the services there and available for you and you don't have to worry about who will do what.
