Pete responded right away with his availability for such a large project, and scheduled a consult a few days later. He then contacted a structural engineer for us to get a better idea of the scope of this project. After the engineer came up with some tentative ideas, Pete determined that the project would need to be handled by a company with larger manpower than he would be able to provide us. Although we weren't able to use Pete for this project currently, we would love to hire him in the future for other projects at our home. His professionalism and responsiveness were way above and beyond what we would expect from someone we hadn't even hired yet.

Pete got back to us very quickly when we initially reached out for quotes on our projects. After signing a contract, it took Pete only a couple of weeks to get to our jobs. We were pleased with Pete's intense attention to detail. It was clear he didn't just want to get the work done; he wanted to make sure it was done well.

Pete was very attentive and professional. He did exactly what we asked for and did not charge us an arm and a leg.

We asked Pete to come give us an estimate to replace our wooden front porch railings. He came out quickly and gave us a price, recommending PVC with aluminum instead of wood. He talked us through the advantages of each, and when we got his quote we thought his price was very reasonable, and liked how he gave us a few different style options. Once he started to tear down our existing railings, he noticed that our support beams were starting to rot, and recommended that they also be replaced. He quickly put together another quote, again with two different style options, and gave us a lot of detailed information on each. The end result looks really great, Pete was very pleasant and professional, and also very patient with us while he walked us through all of our various options. We have a couple of other projects that we are thinking about having him tackle next year - highly recommended!

Great! Although we decided not to perform the door installation at this time, I will definitely call Pete when we are ready. He was very nice, professional, and came out to provide us an estimate for installing a door and completing the framing and trim in the opening. He provided a professional estimate via email, and asked great questions to ensure he knew what we wanted.

Very good. After finding Pete on Angie's List, I emailed him and got a quick response. Pete came out to evaluate what exactly had to be done. Via email we agreed on a date and price. Pete came out on a Saturday and had the job done in 2.5 hours despite a few complications (old house / old wiring, plus a thermostat turned out to be malfunctioning (which I did not know)). All in all, only 13 days elapsed between my first email to Pete and the job done. Professional, friendly service - I will definitely contact him again for a next project !

Pete was outstanding, start to finish. His craftsmanship was the best I've seen, and he went above and beyond in every aspect of his work. He communicated well regarding his intentions, brought me out to make decisions as needed and just did an all out great job. Very happy with how the door came out! Opens and closes great, lock lines up perfect, and all of the finish carpentry work looks perfect. I don't think you could find a better carpenter! His work ethic is outstanding and he gets the job done. He wouldn't even come inside to eat his lunch in the air conditioning when the temps were in the 80s and 90s! Wanted to make sure he got the job done and ate and worked. Right on budget, no surprises. You just don't find workers like Pete any more. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with Pete and will definitely use him again in the future. He was very easy to work with and his workmanship is outstanding. My project was a little odd in that I really didn't know all of the details but Pete did a really good job in providing suggestions to keep it moving forward. Pete was great from start to finish. He showed up on time for the initial estimate and answered all my questions about the repairs needed. He's very professional and knowledgeable about his work. He showed up on time to do the work, and when he ran into any problems he would keep my informed and knew how to work around them. The new door and and the framing around the garage door look fantastic.

Pete is an excellent craftsman who pays attention to the details to ensure satisfaction. He corrected any issues with the existing walls, installed lots of insulation, and made sure that both doors worked correctly. Each day Pete cleaned the area and organized his work area so as not to interfere with our daily lives. Pete would actively seek my input in key areas to make sure I was happy with the final results. Pete was extremely professional, courteous, prompt with communication, and his work is excellent. Pete's attention to detail is excellent, and he was always following up and showing us the work that was completed for the day and wanted to ensure that we were pleased with the work. We needed new drywall installed around our master bath soaking tub area, and then we wanted new wall tile installed around the area. Pete came over, we discussed the project, he gave us a quote within a couple of days which was extremely reasonable, and we moved forward with the project. Pete kept in constant email and phone contact with us, always letting us know the status of the project. Great guy to work with, and we look forward to future home improvement projects with Pete! The shower was dripping from the shower head for a few weeks and had recently started to drip more often. I called Pete since he did such a fantastic job in December replacing faucets and lighting fixtures. Pete picked up two valves and came by to do the work, however, the valves were not the correct one for my shower so we arranged for him to stop by again the next day. He managed to find the correct valve and install it. This was definitely not a quick or easy valve replacement in my 15 year old shower. Pete went above and beyond the call of duty and successfully replaced the valve. I will certainly call Pete again when I have other work to be completed at my house.

Pete is a professional, that is to say he was an excellent communicator, always prompt and a skilled plumber. Pete was here two days. There was no mess when he left either day. He communicated how the work was going. His estimate was complete. I am extremely happy with the work that he competed. I have already scheduled him to return to do some additional work.

If Pete has bid for your job and you don't choose him - I can assure you that it would be an unwise decision. - Pete is courteous, meticulous, organized (one look at his truck and you will know), diligent, prompt, responsive and he takes ownership. No task is too small/ complex for him - he takes great pride in everything he does and this is evident in the finished product. I had interviewed multiple contractors for the kitchen project and chosen Pete over others for his approach & candid responses - one of the best decisions I have been inspired to make. He is the quintessential professional and an honest person. - Pete arrived on time every working day, cleaned up all debris neatly, kept his tools organized. He made sure to place working mats to protect the floors and took care to vacuum all the dust out - he took care of our home as he would his own. I have some water damage around my windows and there was an extensive amount of work to be performed. Pete arrived on time to give me an estimate, was very professional and courteous and was honest in telling me this is too big a job for him since he works by himself. He offered some suggestions on who else to contact and I appreciate him being up front and providing his thoughts on the work and also suggesting someone else who might be able to help me. I would call him again if I need other work done.

Pete did a wonderful job. He had to change out some of the parts and he had exactly what he needed in his super tricked out truck/workshop! Professional and organized. Will absolutely hire him for other work around the house.

Pete is extremely professional, meticulous, and efficient! He takes great pride in his work and responded to my requests and questions. The entire process took about 4 weeks. During the demolition of the space, Pete took great care to minimize the dust and debris. He carefully removed some existing shelves in order to re-purpose them for storage in the laundry area. He kept all trash/debris stored neatly in the garage and removed all debris. Pete removed a wall with a built-in shelving unit and built a new entertainment/storage unit on a different wall of the basement to open the space. The unit included adjustable shelves, doors and angled end shelves. With an older home and uneven floors, Pete took extra care to make sure the unit was level and solidly built. He provided options for materials and described the cost difference and durability of each option. Pete installed electric and lighting to improve the functionality of the space. The old space had little light (just a few lamps) and a few outlets. Pete installed canned lights in the ceiling with a dimmer switch. The space is bright and inviting now. The additional electrical outlets also help improve the use of the space. Pete also installed a new door and storm door to one of the entrances to the basement. The old door and frame had some water damage from previous problems in the basement. The new door is solid! I absolutely LOVE spending time in the basement now! It is a great space thanks to Pete's excellent work and attention to detail. I highly recommend Pete for different handyman projects. He has done other work at my home over the past year. I have always been impressed with his work!

Pete was punctual and professional from the first day until the last. He put in an honest day's work. He was very good with communicating with me throughout the job. there were many details to iron out. We were able to talk through them. Pete wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the results. He is very details oriented and precise which I really appreciated. Pete always worked clean and made sure he completely cleaned up after a days work. I loved that he was a certified electrician and was able to correct some issues that he uncovered during the finishing touches. Our previous contractor had also installed a light fixture off center over our dining room table, with the excuse that a beam made it impossible to center. After talking to Pete about it, he was able to use a different size box and mounted the light completely on center. We are very happy with the way our cabinets look, thanks to Pete's craftsmanship.

Pete was quick to respond to our emails. He provided a reasonable price for the work and was punctual and reliable. As for the job itself, Pete did a masterful job in building out a cement board frame for our new stone fireplace. He dealt patiently with the many design changes that we considered, worked with us closely on determining the precise dimensions of the framing, and he proactively created an internal support system so that we could easily anchor the new mantle of the fireplace. Pete was very methodical in his work on this project, which was complicated by the need to integrate a pre-existing firebox lintel, yet he perfectly incorporated those features into the overall design. The frame he built was exceptionally sturdy and our subsequent construction of the stone fireplace (which included hundreds of pounds of stone and mortar) proved that Pete?s framing was perfect in terms of alignment, depth, and strength. We found Pete to be very approachable, personable, an excellent listener, and a very fine craftsman who kept us informed about his progress and completion schedule, which we view as the ideal qualities of a construction contractor. With Pete's quality framework, we were able to apply the stone veneer ourselves and save $$$$. It looks fabulous. Thanks Pete

Very well. Pete came over to assess the work required, sent an estimate within a few days, and scheduled a date to do the work. He was professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Everything looks great.

Pete was very professional and punctual. He returned my initial call within a few days after leaving a voicemail. (His voicemail greeting stated that it would take a few days because he was swamped with calls after a recent damaging storm). He came out the next day to see the job, and sent me a proposal a few days later, as promised. His proposal included prices for 6 different doors, of varying quality and options, along with the lead times for ordering each one. we agreed on two doors, and they arrived even sooner than he had estimated. We arranged a day to install them, and he arrived promptly as scheduled. The doors were installed over two days. Pete is a skilled, meticulous carpenter, and the moldings and trim he installed look perfect. He paid attention to many small details, and left the job site very clean. My previous door had non-standard framing, making the door fit somewhat difficult, but he was able to work around that and the job looks very professional. In summary, Pete did everything he promised, when he promised it. I never had to call him a second time -- he returns calls and answers emails. I am perfectly satisfied with the work he did, and I would not hesitate to hire him again.
