Excellent. I called at 8:00am and they were at my home by 10:00am. The gentleman worked until 3:00pm. It was a messy job but he left the place spotless. I received a call the next day to ask how the service went. This business has been a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend to any one in need of plumbing services. The plumber told me exactly what was wrong, how to best fix it, gave me options and a full itemized price before he began the work. We are very pleased and troubled free and can use our basement bathroom again!!!

The tech did a great job, and then took a survey in the house to see if anything else needed to be done. Since there was a discount for additional work, I had him fix a few more things. Overall I was very happy.

Arrived on time, wore booties inside. Asked a few questions about the disposal, and then tried to fix it for quite awhile. Finally recommended we get a new one and installed it when I said Yes. Then he asked to do a safety check of everything in the house, I said great. While he was doing the work on the pipes, I happened to mention I'd had a problem hanging shelves on my garage door recently (one thing on the door was too long, preventing the door from closing), so he went and got a SawzAll from his truck and asked if he could fix the problem, saving me from having to hire someone to do that or buy that kind of saw myself. Awesome! It was just beginning to get cold and I was worried about how to get that task done since I didn't have that kind of saw. Plus, he was professional, not pushy, knowledgeable and friendly. I love working with this company. I never feel they're taking advantage or upselling me and they always do top-notch work. I never have to have it redone.

The repair was completed within a half an hour. Service person was professional and courteous.

Excellent. I was given a time to expect the plumber when I made my appointment. On the day of the appointment the dispatcher called me ahead of my scheduled time to tell me that the plumber (Bob) would show up in about 20 minutes. The first thing Bob did when he walked in my house was to put booties over his shoes so he wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. I showed him what I needed done and he walked around and checked the basement to get the layout of the house. He thought the clogged toilet would only need to be augured (and he gave me the price for that). He said if that didn't work - it may be the toilet itself. They always carry a spare toilet on his truck - if that's what's needed - he gave me the price for that (installation and everything included). He also told me he would gladly disconnect the dishwasher (only charged $50 - worth every penny). Bob augured the clogged toilet 4-5 times, flushed it several times in between each attempt and then had me flush it while he listened in the basement to hear how it sounded leaving the pipes. He not only disconnected the dish washer - he moved it to the other side of the kitchen out of my way (which was more than I expected). Everything is working fine and I'm very pleased.

They were very kind. The gentleman I dealt with was very friendly and very professional. We got an estimate very quickly. They gave us a lot of options to choose from and did a very nice job. It looks absolutely wonderful.

They gave us a quote for the work. They listened to exactly what we wanted. They did a great job. They came in, took care of their job, cleaned up and left. They were very attuned to our specific needs.

This morning, my boyfriend and I awoke to the sound of water running. A pipe had broken under the sink in the hall bathroom next to where we were sleeping. Within minutes, there was water everywhere, although we attempted to stop it with towels. I went downstairs to call a plumber, and heard the water coming through the floor into our family room below. A real emergency! I moved a TV and some things so they wouldn't continue to get wet, then found Paramount on Angie's List. I spoke to Tom, the office manager, who explained that his repairman was out on a job, but would come immediately to our house next. He called back twice more to update me on when he was coming, so I knew when to expect him. (He was here within 2 hours of my calling). Tom also explained how much a service call is ($65) and that the repairman would let me know ahead of time what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. They also come with a large, fully stocked truck so they can successfully tackle anything and get the job done the same day instead of waiting to get parts. Jay arrived, explain how their system works again, and went to work. He found the problem within 5 minutes and showed me the part that had broken. He recommended that we replace that part and after a safety check, 2 others that were old and in danger of failure as well (the lavatory trap and the toilet supply and shut off valve). He gave me a price, and I agreed he should do the work. I asked him to look at the other two bathrooms in the house and the sink in the kitchen; he did, and he said they were all good and didn't need anything. When he noticed that the drains were slow in the house, he asked me about it, and I explained that I was buying Liquid Plumber each month but it wasn't helping. (He'd taken a bunch of junk out of the trap in the sink....) He recommended their enzyme drain cleaner, which is expensive at $60, but which is way stronger than what's available retail, so I thought I'd try it. (Better $60 for 6-12 months worth of stuff to keep the drains clean than a few more calls to the plumber. A service call is usually about $65, so I might actually be saving money in the long run.) Jay wore booties in the house and cleaned up after himself. When he did the final tally, Jay realized that he'd misquoted me earlier for the one repair and said instead of $170 it would be $114. I was impressed that he admitted his mistake and let me know about it. Wow, an honest repairman! I'll be using this company in the future. They came quickly, did a great job and most of all, I feel I can trust them to only do what needs to be done and quote me a fair price for it.

On a Sunday night I found leaks under my kitchen sink, flowing slowly down to the basement. I registered on Angie's List to find a plumber. Paramount was about 3 miles from my home & has received Angie's list "Super Service" awards in both 2006-2007. I spoke to Tom at his home on Sunday night and received service the following morning! The serviceman/owner was very professional, confirmed my diagnosis within minutes, replaced the unit and checked the basement underneath its ceiling tiles to make sure there was no water damage. He then made a cursory tour of plumbing throughout my home, and even gave me a great plumbing tip completely unrelated to the service call. I would give all A's to both this contractor and Angie's List! I will keep Paramount in my file for any future plumbing work.

Paramount Plumbing is our hero. We hired a contractor who did terrible work and left us with multiple leaks and problems. We called Paramount on a Sunday and they actually called us back to see if it was an emergency! We made an appointment and they were out within 3 days. They arrived on time, as always, and walked through the issues left by the other contractor. Bob showed us what needed to be fixed to stop the leaks and took care of all issues right away - including replacing the drain hook-up to our new shower base, reworking the plumbing under our vanity to stop constant leaks, and caulking the areas neglected by the other contractor that would also have caused ongoing problems. We had a working bathroom with no leaks by the end of the day. I will never hire anyone else to do plumbing work for us ever again.

A team of two plumbers arrived on-time and were very friendly and professional. They wore shoe covers to prevent tracking dirt in the house. They used tarps on the floor wherever they worked. They worked quickly to evaluate the problem and develop a solution to replacing the pipe. They also planned the replacement pipe in a way that will facilitate the future addition of a first floor powder room. Afterwards, they cleaned up any mess that was made during the work (and it was a messy job). The final cost of the work was exactly as quoted.

This is the second time I used the company. We found a leak from the basement ceiling of our newly purchased home. The leak stopped by itself. Since we could t pinpoint the cause, we called to have it checked out. The technician/owner Mr. Jay Palma thought the leak was from one of the showers on the first floor. But the leak hasn t occurred after he turned the shower on, or later when we used the shower several times since we moved in. So we are still not sure about the source and cause of the leak. While he was here at our house, he inspected the plumbing system, suggested replacing a valve which is close to the electrical panel. He fixed a leak under the laundry tub and replaced a broken clean-out plug outside. He didn t have the right kind of plug in the truck, but he came back several days later and fixed it. He was pleasant and patient with questions.

They were a little higher than some but did really nice work. I would recommend them. They were very clean and friendly. Great demeanor.

Installation went fine without any problems. Installer was on time and very professional. My only negative was with the price. It was approximately $300 for fairly a straightforward/one hour job (that I had pretty much assessed the problem beforehand). However not being a plumber, I wanted a definitive answer from a professional. To Paramount's credit, all charges were accurately quoted upfront. I chose to have them complete the job because I did not have time to do it myself. Also to be fair to Paramount, I did not get quotes from other plumbers in the area, which would have given me a better idea whether Paramount's rates are above or below average. Other than that, I was satisfied with the job Paramount Plumbing did.

Everything went well. I felt bad that the plumber had to work outside on one of the hottest, most humid days of the year but he never complained and had the job done quickly.

I was pleased with the fact that they responded to my call so quickly. They diagnosed our problems quickly and had the needed replacement parts on hand. The work they did was done fast, by a courteous serviceman and done well.

Bob had to reschedule to the afternoon at the last minute, but I did not have a problem with that. They charge a $48 trip charge just to come do estimates but then give you a discount off of other jobs you have them perform the same day. This worked in our favor as we had a lot of various plumbing jobs to be done. They are very professional, had all necessary parts on the truck and cleaned up after all jobs. I would rate the work done as excellent. Can be a bit "salesy" but again worked in our favor. Just let them know if you don't want advice on other jobs your home may need.

Another brilliant job by Paramount. Their policy of quoting the exact price up front is very reassuring, and they do a brilliant job. The shower pan we bought is a little odd, but they got it to work just right. It's sitting in there--snug and secure. They worked fast, and they are superlatively clean. In fact, I think they left our house cleaner than it was when they arrived. They also offered counseling on the rest of this do-it-yourself project that will be invaluable as I finish the job.

Splendid plumbing experience: they were prompt, provided prices for the work from a catalog/price list, performed the work, and cleaned up expertly. A job well done.

We were able to reach Paramount Plumbing on the phone and make an appointment right away. Unfortunately, they were booked and couldn't give us an appointment until several weeks later. In our case, we had rigged the pipe so that it was no longer leaking, so this was not a big problem. The company representatives arrived a few minutes early on the scheduled day and completed the job quickly. One disadvantage: they charge an automatic visit fee to come out to your house, however the overall price was fair, so it turned out to be not a big deal. It was clear that they were concerned about keeping their good reputation. When we called them later that same day with a follow-up question (why was the water now cloudy) and were able to speak with the plumber and get an answer and a solution within 15 minutes.

Fantastic. Professional to a "T". Highly recommended. Job only took 30 minutes. Arrived on time. Clean and professional appearance.

The company answered their phone right away (no answering machine!) and had an appointment available for 2 days after I first called them. They gave a two hour window of when they would arrive and came at the beginning of that time frame. They explained everything they were doing and gave up front pricing. Their prices were reasonable and they worked quickly. They have just about everything in their truck, so there was no need to have them come out for an estimate and then reschedule a time to do the work; they fixed everything on the spot. We will definitely recommend them and will call them again for any future repairs.
