PACER POOLS

My wife and I stopped in 4 weeks ago and asked for a pool heater install quote, they gave us an estimate. Was told the electrical had to be installed first. No problem I told them, I called 3 times over 3 weeks to place the order and was told someone would call me back. Never returned any of my calls. Spoke with them today, 9/4/24 and a very rude lady told me sorry we are closing and hung up on me. WOW nice way to treat a future customer. We had stopped in the past to buy pool supplies and we were treated like we were invisible even then. Guess, we did not learn the first time. They treat customers like we are an inconvenience/bother. We wanted to give them the sale instead of the big competitor in Exton. We will never go to them again, would rather spend $2000 more with Leslie's or Great Valley. We don't own some old crappy pool, that's how we felt dealing with them.

I cannot say enough good about this company and its people. We had not been previous customers; our pool was closed for all of last season and it was not in good shape. With a wedding coming up, we decided to open the pool, but did not know if anyone would come since it was late April by that point. We contacted Pacer and were scheduled in a timely fashion. The pool looked great when they were done! A few days later, the motor on the pump stopped. Not only did Pacer come out and get it going again, they did a simple fix instead of telling us we needed new parts. We are impressed with the service and will definitely use them again. We highly recommend them to other pool owners.

The previous owners of our house used Pacer so I had them service the pool when we moved in. They did a fantastic job getting the pool ready for our first pool party (the pool was a mess!). A month later the heater sprung a leak and they replaced it in a few days! The pool guys we had (John & John) were excellent!! John explained what he was doing, was on top of everything with the pool and even got out hot tub cleaned and running for us. Could not have asked for more. The responsiveness of the office staff is hit and miss, sometimes it takes a few e-mails to get a response. I might just start calling. Pricing was fair, not amazing.

First contacted March 5th and approximately every 2-3 weeks since. Mary continues to promise that she will get back to me in a week or two with an estimate and the timing. Originally work was committed to be complete in mid May, which has come and gone with no response. Most recently Mary has blamed the problem on a "Gary" who was supposed to be returning my calls, but he hasn't. When pressed for Gary's boss, Mary said he does not have one. Gary has worked there for 35 years and just does his job. Mary's father owns the business but he is no longer involved.

They came on time as promised. The work was done professionally, and they workers were happy to talk to me about pool care while they worked. Pipes were flushed, chemicals added, and the cover put on.
